Hey there everybody ^,^ Got something… different for you all~ Way different~
As some of you might know due to my discontinued "Fate/Mad Dream" story (if I every did continue it it'd be a full on reboot, can do it MUCH better now I think) I happen to be a fan of the Fate series which includes Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Zero, Fate/Apocrypha, and the mobile game Fate/Grand Order.
I myself do not HAVE Fate/Grand Order (my phone can't play it for one thing) and I do not know the exact details on how the mechanics work… but I do happen to enjoy a lot of the lore and ideas they have~ I also happen to be very annoyed with several of their recurring cliches. Those two things combined to make a fan character~ The two particular cliches I mentioned are-
1) Their constant love of arbitrarily Gender Swapping legendary figures… particularly the fact that their gender swaps usually end up trim and pretty little girls (like so many Saberfaces, if you know the series you know what I mean) or just supermodels with massive chests and little in the way of clothing. Of course I KNOW the game is made to sell lots of sh*t, hence the pretty girls, but it still annoys me =P
2) The usage of constant Japanese legends and stories even if they're really obscure or don't quite mesh with the pre-set rules for Heroic Spirits. I know the game is made in Japan (and I happen to be a massive fan of Japanese stuff and culture) but this still irks me to a degree… show me a Assassin - Jersey Devil (another idea I have on the back burner ^,^;) darn it~
With those two things in mind I went and made a custom servant… who happens to be an unconventionally attractive (though dunno, maybe big chested, slightly chubby short women are a thing and I just didn't know) gender swapped character from a lesser Japanese legend (that I put my own spin on since it has lots of variations~)… who happens to be a Tanuki~ Cause who doesn't love Japans big balled (or in the ladies case big chested apparently) raccoon dogs~? Yes my mind goes strange places and I just enjoy the ride. I don't apologize for it.
Anyway I hope you all enjoy this =3 it was a fun experiment~ Please comment and let me know what you think ^_^ Have another one in the works too… but might take a bit before I can post him >,< stuck on the background.
In the meantime thanks for reading an take care ^,^
(Also a bit of a disclaimer, due to not playing Fate/Grand Order I had NO idea how powerful she should be or how to translate her abilities into game terms so I stuck her at two star and didn't bother. Also I used an actual wikipedia picture for the Matsuyama-jo for the background, traced it in Illustrator, and just slapped a lot of filters over it to make it work… hope it does work).

True Name: Inugami Gyoubu

Hidden Attribute: Earth
Armaments: Magic, Fan
Summoned Class: Caster
Qualified Servant Classes: Caster
Strength: E
Endurance: C
Agility: C
Mana: A+
Luck: D
NP: A
Legend:
The lead character of the "Matsuyama Sōdō Happyakuya-danuki Monogatari", which is considered one of the "Three Great Tanuki Tales" in Japan. While Inugami Gyoubu herself is not considered one of the three most famous bake-danuki (monster tanuki/tanuki spirit) of Japan, her tale is still known across the country which is enough to qualify her as a Heroic Spirit.
Gyoubu hails from the Japanese island of Shikoku, same as Yashima no Hage-tanuki one of Japan's aforementioned three famous tanuki. Living in a cave Gyoubu was said to have the strongest divine power in all of Shikoku, but her real claim to fame was being the matriarch and unquestioned leader of the largest clan of tanuki ever recorded in folklore, the "Eight Hundred and Eight Tanuki". She, with the help of her clan, acted as the guardian deity of the nearby Matsuyama castle and it's local people. A role for which she was honored, revered, and respected by the people and the lords of the castle. She lived the life of a goddess and her massive brood prospered until, like the many other divines, she chose to meddle in mortal affairs.
At rebellion broke out against the nobility of Matsuyama castle leading to multiple skirmishes. The rebels knew they couldn't take the castle so long as Gyoubu and her clan defended it with their magic, so instead they opted to try and convince her of their cause. Knowing Gyoubu was unhappy with the current generation of lords in the castle for their disrespect for their ancestors traditions the rebels approached Gyoubu offered her riches along with greater reverence and respect than ever before. Even more than that they offered a place for her and her brood in the castle proper after their victory instead of the cave.
Swayed by their offers and her dissatisfaction with the current lords Gyoubu agreed to aid their rebellion. Turning her clan upon the castle defenders themselves the tanuki caused strange, unnatural occurrences to happen to hamper their war efforts and aid the rebellion. Turning the tide of the battles ever-so-slightly in their favor. Unfortunately Gyoubu had no way of knowing the rebel's offers had been made in bad faith and that she'd blindly led her clan into a cruel trap.
The rebels had already given up their cause as lost by the time they approached Gyoubu with this offer. They had found out the castle lord had sent for a mighty warrior wielding divine weaponry to fully crush them and had been seeking a way to escape responsibility for their failed ambitions. The moment the warrior arrived the rebel leaders threw themselves at the mercy of the lords and pleaded for clemency. "It was not us my lord, but the tanuki Inugami Gyoubu who sought to overthrow you!" they claimed "We were forced to do as she commanded so she could take the castle from you!" painting her and her clan as the true instigators of the rebellion.
The warrior, having defeated yokai before, needed no more explanation and immediately set out after Gyoubu and her clan. Despite her pleading for mercy and her time spent as a guardian deity no one would speak in Gyoubu's defense or listen to her attempts to explain. The lords knew she disliked them so they were more than happy to forgive the rebels if it meant being rid of her. All her divine magic was powerless against the corrupt machinations of man. She wasn't even able to try and defend her clan against the attack. The warrior used a divine weapon crafted specifically to strike down yokai to seal her and all 808 of her family away in the very cave they'd inhabited. Trapped in stone till their dying day.
Such is the story of Inugami Gyoubu, cast down goddess trampled upon by the ambitions of man.
"Eh, enough serious business. There's sake to drink, there's food to eat, forget your duties and lets have ourselves a party~ You won't BELIEVE how dull that cave got after a while~"
Personality:
A lazy but sweet great, great, great, great (minimum 4 greats) grandma Gyoubu can AFFORD to be a lazy bum most of the time. She can simply have one or more of her children handle the heavy lifting for her. Because of this she comes across as a lackadaisical old woman who'd rather spend her time drinking, snacking, and indulging in base entertainment than actually doing anything meaningful. Quick to gossip, quick to make an off-color joke, quick to invite others to abandon their concerns and join her in her merry making, and quick to try and brush aside most attempts at serious discussion she comes across as having not a care in the world.
Despite this she is the matriarch of the largest tanuki clan in legend for a reason. She can be a commanding, efficient, and tactical leader who specializes in directing defensive combat and sabotage. Once she has set out to defend something she takes pride in making sure it cannot be taken by enemies. She also will brook no disrespect for her family and the work they've done defending Matsuyama castle. She tends to brush disrespect towards her off quite casually and is liable to laugh in someones face if that happens.
While it looks like she's merely mooching off her numerous children's efforts she knows all of them by name and knows personal details about all 808 of them. Details she will boastfully share if prompted like any other proud parent. She can be a doting, adoring motherly figure just as easily as she can be a stern leader should the occasion arise. She also hasn't quite outgrown her tendency to want to meddle in the personal affairs of family and friends alike… a hold over from her days as a minor goddess. All the same there's a reason her family will follow any order she gives beyond just family loyalty.
Despite appearing as if she hasn't a care in the world she will talk at length in a serious fashion if one particular subject is brought up. She has little interest in "Ambition" and seems almost spiteful towards people driven to constantly better themselves… particularly when its selfish ambition at the expense of others. Having had her one moment of ambition to better her and her families already good life backfire and all of them take the fall for the failed ambitions of others left her jaded despite trying to hide it behind her carefree exterior. Because of this she finds selfless ambition to be rather naive… in an endearing and charming way. While she'll have no respect for a master who seeks nothing but their own betterment she will be quite loyal to a master whose goals are more innocent and/or altruistic. All while teasing them in a grandmotherly way for their childish outlook.
Class Skills:
Territory Creation - A
Despite being cast down from her position as the protector of Matsuyama Castle, Gyoubu still knows it inside and out from protecting it for so many generations. Combined with her nature as a spirit of the land she is capable of creating a "Castle" that functions similar to a Temple and is capable of pulling Mana from the land itself. This Skill is made truly manifest in her "Matsuyama-jo" Noble Phantasm.
Item Construction - E
Due to her nature not being compatible with her skill she is only able to recreate items that she had handled in life or that were contained within Matsuyama Castle. Things like basic household goods, food, and some higher class riches are all within her ability to create with some effort.
Item Construction (Illusion) - E
A skill possessed by all tanuki Heroic Spirits and a natural ability of their species. It is the ability to temporarily make one thing appear to be another be it turning leafs into golden coins or making a dug out den appear to be a glorious estate. Due to her not using it in her legend, and laziness on her own part, Gyoubu is considered "Weak" in this skill as far as tanuki's go.
Personal Skills:
Castle Monster - B+
Despite not living in Matsuyama castle Gyoubu and her brood were considered its guardian spirits and defenders. They are at their strongest when protecting a castle but suffer no major penalty when away from one. Gyoubu in particular gets a boost to her mana and Yokai Mischief Skill (which is then shared among her family) while within a castle.
Divinity - B
Having at one point been the strongest divine force on an entire island as well as the guardian deity of a castle and the lands around it Gyoubu still possesses a high level of Divinity despite having been lowered to merely the level of a magical beast.
Head of the Household - EX
A skill that denotes one as the undisputed leader of an exceptionally massive family or clan it grants the user several skills and authorities including Military Tactics and Charisma among others. As the leader and matriarch of the largest tanuki clan in folklore Gyoubu has this Skill at the highest rank and is able to command her 808 tanuki while having them not only obey flawlessly but gain benefits from following her commands.
Yokai Mischief - B+
A skill that denotes the magic and power of the Japanese Yokai. Separate from the Witchcraft skill, despite appearing the same at times, this denotes the yokai's nature as a "Mysterious Spirit" and its ability to cause "Supernatural" phenomena that include visual and audial illusions, poltergeist like hauntings, elemental style effects like surprising winds and fires, and more. While not usually used aggressively it can be weaponized to function identically to Subversive Activities, can be used as a mental assault on targets, and can act as a stand in for spellcasting ability. This is a shared skill among Gyoubu and her family.
Shapeshifting - D
A skill possessed by all tanuki allowing them to change their shape and form at will. Despite this, similar to her Item Construction (Illusion) skill, Gyoubu ranks very low in this Skill due to her own laziness and never using it in her legend. She usually restricts herself to appearing in a humanoid form and changing her clothes at will with this skill, finding anything more too much of a bother to deal with.
Noble Phantasms:
Matsuyama-jo - Great Castle Defended by Tanuki
Rank B (Anti-Fortress)
A NPs that manifests a smaller, inferior recreation of the Matsuyama-jo (Matsuyama Castle) that she and her family protected in their prime and that forms the focal point of their story. While this is a defensive NPs exclusively in effect, designed to place a sturdy barrier between Gyoubu and her foes, due to their nature as Castle Guardians Gyoubu and her family receive an offensive bonus along with the defensive one so long as they are trying to repel attackers. When combined with her Territory Creation skill the semi-permanent manifestation of this NPs becomes possible under favorable conditions creating a fortress she can lounge in while she allows her family to do the heavy lifting. Even if the exterior walls of the castle are breached Gyoubu and her family know every inch of the layout and still maintain the offensive and defensive advantage against attackers. Any damage to the castle can, with mana and time, be repaired and even if the castle is destroyed outright so long as Gyoubu is safe it can be resummoned.
Happyakuya-danuki - My Beloved Family, 808 Strong
Rank A (Anti-Army)
Gyoubu's strongest NP and her greatest pride, it is the manifestation of her family, the largest recorded tanuki clan in all of japan, to aid her. Despite not having the semi-divine nature of the matriarch each and every tanuki is a mystical beast in their own right with Shapeshifting and Item Creation (Illusion) at their disposal (which contributed to Gyoubu's own laziness with those skills) to aid their leader. They can manifest only a few at a time for errands or, if mana permits, she can call forth her entire household at once. Due to their nature as spirits connected to a Heroic Spirit merely slaying them isn't enough to decrease their numbers and something close to high class spirit exorcism would be necessary to keep her from resummoning them at will, but even that cannot keep them from returning to her eventually. She is Gyoubu, leader of the 808 Tanuki and her family will ALWAYS heed her call. When combined with the Yokai Mischief Skill this NP can easily create rampant chaos on the battlefield and ruin any cohesion an enemy force might have.

Thank you for that, knew this was a bit of a style departure for me.
y'know its kind of funny. i'm actually trying to make servant versions of victor hugo characters.
..because if they can have figures like the phantom of the opera, or Dr.jekyll, than dang It; a Quasimodo or valjean should be perfectly viable

Makes perfect sense to me, the only downside is the whole Servant System not quite fitting them well since off the top of my head no exact Servant Class fits them...
well, I was going to have valjean as assassin, since his capability to more or less be a fugitive for decades would fit nicely for the presence concealment.
frolo I would probably put as a ruler class. someone whom would have no stock in wanting the grail, but is obsessed enough about order to oversee proceedings.

Hmmm... Assassin might work... though Ruler is supposed to be reserved for Saints so it might no work. Caster might be the other option since it seems to be where they shove artists, administrators, and general non-combat, non-murderous figures.
I had considered berserker, since the crux of his story is going mad with lust, but he wasn't really a fighter.
though I do have valjean's Noble phantasm thought up.
promesse d'argent: thy soul bought for god. (C-AA rank)
A pair of ornate silver candlesticks, the very same that were given to assassin in life as a symbol of his devotion to good, and that he carried till his death as a reminder of that promise. As a noble phantasm they passively guard assassin and his allies from hexes and negative effects. However, when facing a foe that is of an evil alignment or corrupted nature, he may activate its true effect by lighting the candles, and quoting the words of the priest whom granted them to him. Doing so causes assassins' every attribute to rise in order to match the evil he faces, while also granting him battle continuation if he is fighting for the sake of another.
Activation chant: “my brother/sister;
you belong no longer to evil, but to good.
It is your soul that I buy for you.
I withdraw it from dark thoughts and from the spirit of perdition..
and I give it to God!”

Right, could see that. We've had non-standard bersekers like that before. And sounds good =3 though if it's okay I'd rather we discuss this in notes so as to not clog up comments with this ^_^
