Some close-ups of panels from Brer Rabbit comics did for Dutch Donald Duck magazine (the Disney comic weekly) last year.
I LOVE to draw Brer Fox. It's really one of my all time favorite character designs. The baggy clothes, bony hands, droopy hat, poofy hair, scrawny legs, crooked snout, oversized feet... What else is new?
Inked with india ink and a sable brush.

These comics are still being made?!
Used to read these when they were monthly releases back in the 90's.
Great job, btw. :}

As a very young child, I grew up on Disney comics, especially Donald Duck comics, they were the main thing that helped me learn to read. And because of also watching Disney movies as well as reading the comics back in the day, B'rer Fox became one of my all time favorite Disney villains, helped a lot by the B'rer Fox performer in Disneyland when I went there at age 6, he was so entertaining and engaging with the guests.
To this day B'rer Fox is still a favorite character of mine, and it's so cool to see him get attention, especially when draws so well as you have. It really warms my heart that the comics I grew up on and the lesser known characters I enjoyed even then are still delighting children today. You've made my day posting this here, thank you very much.

Too bad Disney is trying everything on their power to erase Song of The South from existence.
