Now that FurtherConfusion and it's Gold Rush has passed, it's a good time to post this.

Blotch, I will never see a day when your art fails to amaze me. :) I am so hoping one day I can get a sketch of my character drawn by you in my sketchbook and then I would truly will be at peace. ^^
-reads the newspaper-
Oh my gosh ! Gold Rush continues ! (Lovely scenery)

Ohhh a WONDERFUL wilderness piece... I really love this alot. Such a nice day, relaxed readin' the paper. Fantastic.
No matter how many times I see your art style, it blows me away each time I see it again. Your talent is indeed preeminent.
Duh - how'd I miss that! lols guess I saw the double humps and the *cough* big bear and went for a pun without paying a bit of attention!
This is a classic!!! Fantastic Sierra scenery, the bear, everything! I love this picture!!!
He's wearin' the wrong hat - he needs to wear the big floppy kind to find gold.

Simply amazing. This wouldn't be near as spectacular if the background wasn't so amazing as well. Very nice!
The only problem with this pic is that 99.9% of the people who came here couldn't read.
The environment is gorgeous. I don't usually make it a habit to repeatedly favorite a bunch of the same artists work but so much of yours is a pleasure to look at.
I also like the story being told here. Very nice.

wow, pictures like this always makes me wonder HOW they are done. A little tutorial would be so nice :)
Who the hell wants gold with a bear like that around? He's the prize, and it shows particularly well seated as he is. :P
I love gold panning, this is the first piece of furry art i have seen it in, lol. Great job, I love finding wilderness places like where Mr. Bear there is when I go a-pannin.
is this to say that your venture was not as gigantically rewarding as you'd expected?
Nah, the con as a whole was well worth it! But this piece was part of the convention book and I didn't really want to post it before the convention. ;] Besides, it fits with the fact the con is now over and done and it's on to new things.
Amazing!!
Looks like the real world ^^
Good Job Pal as always ;)

Do you mainly use watercolor, oil or acrylic? Beautiful work my friend!
Mostly watercolor, though I touch up a few things here and there with acrylic.
I like the rocks on the bank, and the blend of dead and live trees, it seems so natural.
Wonderful detail and fantastic colors and tones. You did it yet again, great work. I hope he is lucky and strikes the mother load! *hugs*
awesome
this picture puts me in that other world... make believe
I love that effect

The kinky sex aside (I like those too, but that's not what this is about), your work reminds me why I drifted into this fandom to begin with: There are other ways of seeing our world and our history than just what we allow history to remember.
...and a pipe-smoking bear helps, too.

Absolutely amazing work! And very tranquil too and I particularly like the style of this one too. Captures the mood beautifully!
One other thing, and maybe it's because I'm Aussie, but it reminds me for some reason of Waltzing Matilda or just the general Aussie feel.
Or maybe I'm just sad =P.

My Grandfather used to do that up in the klondike!....Wow~<3
What a great Image! You really got all the materials right too..I love it!

Your work always succeeds in being wonderfully detailed. The colours all blend in naturally!
A "Miner Forty-Niner" panning for gold. He'll need alot of luck, poor bear. Better to go fishing for salmon, they're edible.
OMG! It looks like my Dad!
Well... the belly does anyway. We kinda pick on Dad, because he's turned into such a couch potato that he's grown a big belly (yeah... he does look "Prag" as Vinci would say).

i am loving that body type in this kind of artwork
this should be in the crocker musium in sacramento.
it seriously captures the feel of the artwork contemporary to its era depicting it.
mr clemins would have approved.
