Taking a 1-month break from it here is an extra-long chapter on the "Polar Freeze" saga, with tons of action and plot twists happening! (Just like in a real comic! )
Being a part of Penguin's crew now is not the most ideal situation for the big guy to be in, but once opportunity shows itself you better believe a whole lot of chaos will happen at once!

Polar Freeze comes from the "Batman VS Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" animated film and comic crossover.
When being in the world of criminality there is really one rule to follow and that is, "Never trust anybody!".
And yet that's what Polar Freeze had been doing recently, as he temporarily teamed up with the Penguin in order to have some place to keep himself hidden, and where he could focus on repairing his Freeze Ray.
That's not to say that his mutated Polar Bear body wasn't a weapon on it's own (He was after all a lot stronger, and could even take bullets as if he was wearing a protective suit), but with his Freeze Ray he knew he would have a great advantage as he could stop his foes dead in his tracks before they even got close to him.
Unfortunately the weapon had almost constantly been in a "Almost impossible" state to fix thanks to the attack from the Batman mutant, and while the Penguin had been generous enough with gathering materials and tools for the big Bear to work with it still wasn't enough to have it fully functioning again.
Still, it all felt the big guy with some form of hope, as for once he could actually feel like he was making some form of progress, and that the very least he knew he did have the Penguin covering his white fuzzy back.
But in reality he really should know better then to think someone like the Penguin would care about anyone else then himself, since at Cobblepot's office the tubby little man was really loving having this personal "Polar Bear Henchman" working under him.
Thanks to the incredible strength and durable skin in Freeze's mutated body he was like the perfect material for acting as both the muscles and shield when doing a robbery job, and during the short time the Bear had been a part of his gang the Penguin had very quickly started to build up a smaller fortune again.
Knowing that Freeze only cared about fixing his gun so he could leave also meant that the mobster king knew just how to keep the big guy on his good side, by purposely keeping the tools and material needed just out of reach from his paws.
"Just one more job." is what the Penguin would tell him every time, knowing that the longer he could keep the guy at his bay the richer he would get out of it.
"Still, it is the same intelligent scientist inside of that Bear body, so I can only pull this scam off enough times before he stops to buy my excuses of why I can't get him more materials." The Penguin pondered to himself, as he still wanted to make sure and milk this opportunity as dry as possible before throwing it away.
"I guess I should chose my targets a bit more carefully now, and not use him until I really know it will be worth it." The Penguin thought as he knew the next target really had to count, and be a big one!
Despite having been spending weeks inside of a literal cage at a zoo the mutated Freeze had never felt so "Closed off" as he did now, with all of the Penguin's goons trying their best to avoid the big beast out of pure fear.
Yet another reason to why he was hoping to soon have his weapon fully working again, so that he could stop feeling unwelcome here and return to his own lab, where Nora was waiting for him.
"Dang it! I still need for it to be more stabilised, as of right now I could probably fire a few shots before this thing short circuits on itself." Polar Freeze said as he looked at now his 95% fixed freeze gun, before then hearing a knock on the door to the walk-in fridge he was residing in.
Opening it the tall Polar Bear looked down at a very nervous looking goon, who told him that "T-The Boss w-wants to s-see you.", and knocking that he still was in need for materials to fully fix his gun Freeze started to head towards Cobblepot's office.
"And also!" The Goon shouted, making Freeze stop dead in his tracks. "The Boss wished for you to see him in your...outfit."
If there was one thing being part of the Penguin's gang that Polar Freeze had really started to annoy then it was the fact that the short little mobster required for him to be wearing the same type of fancy vest and bowler hat as everyone else was dressed in. (With the one big difference being that Freeze wasn't wearing any pants, since being a Bear his hindquarters was quite the challenge for any type of tailor to work with.)
Whenever he was in his personal icebox Freeze would waste no time getting out of his clothes, and honestly enjoying a lot more to be working in nothing but his own fursuit, but since that was what the Penguin was asking for he knew he had no choice but to get changed before showing up.
Once there the Penguin looked just as pleased as ever seeing his favourite Henchman/Pet all dressed up and nice, as he started by asking Freeze how the workings of his gun was coming along.
"Almost there, but still needs a few more tweaks before being fully working." Polar Freeze said as Cobblepot could be seen sporting a big smile saying "Why, that sounds most wonderful!" to the big Bear. (But knowing all to well of just what a backstabbing guy he usually was Freeze knew he couldn't believe it to be what he actually felt.)
"You wanted to see me?" Freeze asked as Cobblepot went straight to the point detailing all the previous robberies that he had been having the Polar Bear to be a part of, before then telling him "I have heard words that there is something worth more then all of that COMBINED that will soon happen!"
"And what would that be?" Freeze asked curiously as Cobblepot started to tell him the rumours about this massive money transport that is suppose to happen, and where the cash in question could lead to their biggest success yet.
"Knowing how you are just as strong as the vans that will be transporting the stuff it is pretty obvious that I want you to come along for this thing, as even I myself will for once be part of the action." Cobblepot added, making Freeze a bit surprised to hear he would actually toss himself into what could easily become a very "messy" situation.
Still, Freeze wanted confirmation from the Penguin that if they were to pull this off, that would also lead to him finally getting what he needed to fully fix his weapon?
"Of course. I can assure you that this is the last I ever ask from you." Cobblepot said as they both did a proper hand shake on it, before Polar Freeze then left the room.
Once alone however a much more sinister smile could be seen on the master mobster as the Penguin said to himself "If I can't keep you as my most powerful goon, then nobody else will be able to use you!", while loading his trusted umbrella gun, planning on ending the big Bear once the robbing of the money transport was complete.
But outside of the office also Freeze could be seen looking just as cunning over the plan, as upon returning to his workshop he took and strapped the mostly fixed freeze ray onto his back while saying, "This will be my one chance of escaping, and I just have to hope the fixes that I've made will be enough to save me."
Later on the entire gang was awaiting inside of a nearby alley for when the convoy with all the money to pass by, as both the Penguin and Polar Freeze were ready to put their own personal plans into action once the robbery was over.
Seeing 3 armoured vans coming around the corner the Penguin yelled out "Now!" in command, and in response Polar Freeze stepped out into the middle of the road and has his eyes set on the first of the three vans.
Spotting suddenly a big Polar Bear standing in the way the driver of that van tried to honk to make the big creature leave as he then tried to brake and swerve around, but Freeze decided to show just how strong this Bear could be.
Lashing his huge paw towards the van as it tried to dodge him Polar Freeze put all of strength into pushing to the side of the van, leading to him making the whole thing tumble over on it's side!
The way the van ended up falling over was enough to make it block the whole road, forcing the other two vans behind it to stop as well.
Looking like they had just managed to score and easy win the Penguin sent the rest of his guards over towards the remaining two vans, while asking for Polar Freeze to open up the back of the one he flipped over.
As the big Bear went on his way to try and bent open the metal doors the Penguin aimed his umbrella gun towards the back of Freeze, as he got closer to make sure his aim would be right.
Freeze however picked up the sound of the Penguin getting closer and from the corner of his eye when glancing backwards he spotted him aiming the gun top towards him, forcing the big Bear to quickly dodge out of the way as...
"BANG!"
The van now had a pretty solid hole in it's metal frame (Showing just what packing force the Penguin's weapon could have), but luckily Freeze had been quick enough to dodge that bullet as he was still unharmed.
That was more then what could be said about the Penguin as when he tried to run away suddenly got clawed and pinned down by the coat by a very angry looking Polar Freeze, having the mutated scientist ask "Was this your plan from the start? To just shot me in the back when I was no longer of any use to you!"
"Now, now, take it easy!" The Penguin tried to say to clam Freeze down, but the big Bear wasn't having any of it as he was about to just slit the throat of the betraying bastard when they both heard multiple gunshots happening over at the other two vans.
Upon looking back they could see how the whole money transport thing had been nothing more then a scam, as inside of those vans was a whole set of rival goons that had just started a full on gang war on the street!
And in the midst of it all two certain figures emerged.
Two all to familiar faces that one would have hoped to be locked away forever at Arkham Asylum, never to be seen again!
It was none other then the Joker and his beloved Harley Quinn, who by the looks of things after they broke out of Arkham must have been making a stop at the costume shop, since they were both currently dressed like Safari Hunters.
"Look at that, Puddin! Is that really normal?" Harley Quinn asked as the Joker looked on at the two betraying villains before saying, "Why, it's just a Polar Bear trying to dine on a really fat Penguin. Nothing weird about that." before then adding, "But it looks like he just let his meal get away from him."
That's when Polar Freeze noticed that the Penguin had been taking the moment to escape out of his pinned down coat, and was now making his exit from the scene itself.
"Sorry for your loss there, big guy. But the truth is that we just put this little act on so that we would find you." The Joker explained, to which Polar Freeze became a bit unsure and asked "Why? What could I possibly be owning you?"
"Well, right now you just happen to be the only one "owning" the mutagen formula, and so we figured what better way for us to become our animal selves again then to capture the only living sample left?" The Joker asked as Harley Quinn looked super excited over the thought to become her Hyena self again as she said, "We will even make sure you get your very own cage with your name on, a bowl to drink water from, and even a big wheel that you can run as much as you want in!"
Polar Freeze looked at first pretty stunned by just how much nonsense he just got to hear before then yelling at them, "What do you think I am, some kind of pet?! Never would I ever give myself up willingly to you two ever again!"
That set a rare frown onto the otherwise always smiling clown as the Joker told him, "That's pretty sad to hear..." before then springing up at a full smile again as he said "Honestly, just a sample of your blood will do just fine for us, so it doesn't really matter if we capture you alive or not!" before then aiming a big hunting rifle towards the Polar Bear!
That's when it was Polar Freeze's turn to become the comedic one as he said back, "Jokes on you, cause this Bear is also armed!" before then reaching for his freeze ray and firing towards the two!
Both the Joker and Harley was very quick with dodging the icy ray, as they then asked for the rest of their goons to help them out. (As by this point the gang war had pretty much ended, with the Joker goons having slaughters all of Penguin's.)
Being now all by himself in a battle against a whole group Freeze knew he just had to do his all, or else he would fail Nora.
As the whole group of goons came all at him at once the Polar Bear noticed some of them carrying guns, while others had just knifes and their fists to work with.
Taking aim for the ones with guns first Polar Freeze used his ray gun to freeze all of them solid, before then starting to take the rest of them down with his advanced size and strength.
After a few minutes of intense fighting Polar Freeze soon stood victorious, and he was about to make his exit when he found himself aimed at by the Clown duo once more.
Quickly reaching for his gun once more the two of them soon had a bit of a stand-off, with the Joker not being able to resist saying to him, "Go on. Make my day. Bear."
"Gladly." Polar Freeze replied as he pulled his trigger, only to find his gun not responding to him!
Looking over his back his worst fears from before had come true as his fight with the goons earlier had been resulting in his gun overheating, and subsequently shutting down!
"Your little ICE gun OVERHEATED? That is just so ironic!" The Joker laughed out loudly as he aimed his own gun straight towards the Polar Bear's head when suddenly they all got blinded by an all black vehicle entering the scene!
"Seriously?! Can't we be on the run for just 5 minutes before they send the Bat to come after us?" The Joker complained as he tried to shield his eyes from the Batmobile's headlights, when Harley Quinn could be heard shouting "Puddin! He's getting away!"
Looking over at the alley from which Freeze and the Penguin gang had been coming from the two saw the Polar Bear trying to make an escape, leading to the clown couple running straight after him. (Forgetting all about the caped crusader that had just been arriving as well.)
Freeze didn't want to admit it but right now he felt just like the wild animal that the Joker and Harley had been making him up to be.
Defenceless, Scared, and in only a question of time before he might end up shot and having his head mounted on a wall!
His first instinct was to try and get back to the Penguin, but knowing that that bridge was all brunt and gone that left the Polar Bear with little to know ways to go!
He had no places to hide, and not friends to help him!
"This could actually seem like the end of me!" He thought before then suddenly stopping his running when he spotted a certain someone standing in one of the alley ways.
Batman.
He didn't know why but seeing the Dark Knight just standing there...dragged him over to him.
He was no longer that same Bat monster that had almost kidded him back at the Asylum, but yet seeing the masked superhero starring at him filled Polar Freeze with both fear and a sudden urge for revenge.
One of his many goals once escaping his certain death had been to get his revenge on the Batman, and yet when seeing him now he didn't know what to really feel.
As he got closer he noticed that Batman wasn't making any moves of his own, not trying to attack, defend, or ever run away from the big furry beast getting closer to him.
Was he aware of what he had done while in that mutated state?
Was he...feeling sorry for what he had done?
Why was seeing his acre nemesis for so long, now suddenly giving Freeze such mixed feelings?
Standing just a foot or two apart from him now Polar Freeze looked down at Batman, with the two of them still not breaking their eye contact.
Looking at him up close with his goggles and all the Dark Knight started to almost act like he was seeing a ghost as he said "Victor?" in shock.
"Batman..." Freeze said in his deep booming voice before then feeling a sudden pain hit him as all his energy seemed to vanish!
Having stopped running to walk over to the Dark Knigh the big Polar Bear had made himself completely open for the hunting duo, and it was right during that moment of talk when the Joker had sent of a solid bullet that hit deep into Freeze's back!
Bleeding from his back the big Polar Bear started to feel like he was going to collapse, as Batman was quick to have Freeze supporting over his shoulder as he then tossed out a smoke grenade from his tool belt.
With the alley filling up completely with smoke Batman had the Batmobile coming to meet them at the closest exit point, as his main goal now was to not let Joker and Harley end up killing Freeze.
Once the car showed up Batman had the whole roof open up so that he could help have Polar Freeze lay down and curl up in the backseat, before he quickly got himself into the driver seat.
Letting the roof close up over the two of them again Batman then hit the gas pedal hard as they took off, leaving Joker and Harley in the dust.
Having now lost their chance of either capturing or killing Freeze thanks to Batman the two criminals wasn't happy one bit, with especially Harley having a big cry about it.
"Now it's all over! Now I will never be able to become Harley Yeen ever again!" Harley cried as the Joker told Harley kindly (But also very demanding) to "Get it together!" before then asking her to look at the ground.
From the alley to where the Batmobile had been picking them up there was a pretty clear trace of blood drops from Polar Freeze to be seen, and while it took a second for Harley to understand she let out a big "No way!" once she realized what this means.
"Oh yes! All we would need from our Polar Bear friend is a sample of his blood, which as you can see he so kindly had and spread all over this place for us." The Joker explained, resulting in Harley jumping up and down in excitement before then giving her "Mr J." a big kiss!
"So does this me we just give up on Freeze, now when the Bat's got him and all?" Harley then asked to which the Joker replied, "Not at all. You see, this whole "Hunting" thing was actually tons of fun, and I would really hate for us to stop playing this game until we have managed to hunt down out "Prey" together."
"Then what are we suppose to do now?" Harley asked unsure as the Joker told her that they would simply, "Make the Bear come to us." while giving one of those evil smiles that Harley always knew meant something good was coming.
"And what are you thinking about, Puddin?" Harley asked as the Joker replied to her, "You just need to know what makes this Bear tick. If it is Picnic Basket, a jar of Honey, or perhaps...a cryogenically frozen wife!"
Being a part of Penguin's crew now is not the most ideal situation for the big guy to be in, but once opportunity shows itself you better believe a whole lot of chaos will happen at once!

I'm sure the J man has been doing A LOT of much worse stuff then what I am making him do in this thing. XP
Nice action in this one, and Joker and Harley being in hunter uniforms got a laugh out of me :P
Joker took the words out of my mouth about the ice gun overheating, too XD
But Joker better hope his plan doesn't mess up or heal be dealing with one angry bear who can use the scrawny clown as a toothpick.

They need to be in their Safari gear, even when hunting for Polar Bears. XP
That "overheating gun" thing really was one of my proudest moments.
Also true that in his current size Freeze isn't someone you try to mess with.
