She is a ferocious fighter who is saving the enslaved winged Yrians from their imminent demise. She is the bravest and strongest of all; a leader who is trying to build a community of winged people who will break all trade rings and unshackle those who can't defend themselves.

One of the darker parts of Yria is that people with wings are prized objects that often get captured, enslaved and sold. Their ability to fly, their rareness as well as their knowledge about all trades make them highly special and wanted for their work - and sometimes for their meat. In some parts, the wings are sold for medicinal purposes to gullable Yrians who come across a quack. Albeit a difficult trade, specialized hunters make a lucrative business with their rings as demands for these prized people is always high.

It's one of the backstories of Yria that probably won't fit into the Chronicles of Yria. And even though the designs of winged Yrians would be entirely different, I jumped right at the opportunity when I saw the character reference images for this commission.
This is one of the "Wanderer of Yrian Plains" commissions from my HoD campaign. I'm really happy to have gotten the opportunity to create this. :)
