I'm very excited to share this and I hope you have as much fun reading this text adventure as I did writing it. If you've played SMS, then you'll recognize this in terms of its scenario.
INSTRUCTIONS: When you come to a choice between two colored options, choose the first one to continue immediately, or choose the next by scrolling down further until the desired color appears in the text. There's more variety to this story than my previous ones, so the wrong decision could mean the main protagonists demise. Enjoy! :)
Bianco Hills was cleaned up long ago. As Mario continued his adventure across Isle Delfino to clean up evil, he was notified by Toadsworth that there's a dragon devastating Bianco Hills and he must return there immediately. Leaping into the Pianta Statue's portal in Delfino Plaza, Mario flips into action. The once green and beautiful village is now set ablaze across the rooftops, the sky is shrouded in gray smoke as Pianta's run in flaming circles of agony.
"YAHOO!" The plumber shouts excitedly, him and his water pack FLUDD slide down the slippery-stone pathway littered with sprinklers. Nearing a gap over a stream to the village, Mario propels himself from a bungee cord up to the wall separating the village and windmill pathways. "WOAH!" Barely catching the edge, he climbs atop the wall and sees the burning trees. "Mario," says FLUDD in its monotone voice. "if the threat can be found anywhere, my sources calculate a 95% chance it will be seen at the highest point in this region."
Nodding his head, he goes for the windmill. The plumber side-flips over the smoldering patches of tropical flora and meets a familiar bridge with an unfamiliar foe. The steel-ringed pathway constructed of logs and bungee cords is being guarded by a Salazzle with her arms crossed. Poisonous liquid drips from the Pokémon's maw as she eyes-down Mario. BLURB! Spewing a big gunk shot from her throat, the plumber dodges the goo and makes a quick decision.
(OPTION A) Avoid
The real threat lies at the top of that windmill and shouldn't be kept waiting any longer.
(OPTION B) Attack
The immediate threat is right here and must be subdued before taking on the real challenge ahead.
(OPTION A) Avoid
Mario hops above Salazzle's head and sprays his hover nozzle over in an attempt to skip the fight, but the Pokémon's too quick and swings an iron tail at FLUDD. BANG! The poor machine didn't know what hit it and was smashed to pieces. Mario grabs the bridge-side and nearly falls to the lake. Barely hanging on with a huge slash through his denim outfit, Salazzle peeks over and spits venom into the waters below - totally saturating it. In a dramatic moment with the fires of Bianco Hills in the background, the lizard pushes Mario off to an acidically watery grave... THE END
(OPTION B) Attack
Mario hops on Salazzle's head and backflips off her face. "YAHOO!" He cheers, launching the Pokémon to the floor. He lands on a bungee cord, Salazzle shoots a flame burst at the base of it and snaps the rope. "HMM!" He catches himself at the edge, grabbing the singed rope for balance. Embers build-up again in the Pokémon's throat as the plumber dives at her. In the spur of the moment, Mario ties the cord around the lizards muzzle and traps the fireball inside - causing her to inflate rapidly without escape.
Clawing at the knot like crazy, the Pokémon whines as it swells uncontrollably - centered on the bridge. Taking up all the space on the immediate path, the poisonous fire balloon makes echoed creaks into the distance while her limbs retract into herself. Mario turns his back to Salazzle's inevitable demise, walking away from her pleading whimpers. BOOM! The lizard bursts like a crack of thunder, Mario puts on aviators as he continues his adventure up the stone tower windmill. "OKEY DOKIE!"
The pulsating roots that once plagued this structure are now charred black, at least that's a plus. As Mario traversed carefully and used his hover nozzle to clear the gaps between platforms, little Salandit's periodically got in his way. Luckily they were small fries and served no real threat, not like their evolution did earlier. Unfortunately, the rotating platforms have been destroyed. A friendly Pianta steps over from the side. "Mario, ya gotta stop that dragon before it's too late!" Saying so, he wraps his big mittens around the plumber and launches him straight up to the towers peak. "WOAH!"
Landing atop the shingled roof, the huge hole has been crudely repaired from a previous battle. Mario's happy to finally be above the smoke plumes, but where's the dragon? ... "Mario!" Warns FLUDD, a silhouette appears in the sunshine. Coming in fast, the dragon slams down to the roof, the sound of wood and ceramics creak loudly over the blowing wind. It's a Charizard, and quite an enraged one at that. The Pokémon roars strongly, the plumber stances himself.
Crack! Charizard's ferocious expression turns worried, him and Mario look down at the breaking platform then back up at each other. As the dragon goes to flap his wings, the foundation snaps and they both fall into the hollow windmill... Charizard flutters back up to his feet and spins rapidly - raising a flame wall around himself as Mario back-flips away. The dragon stays in the center of the room while the heat causes a few Grimer's to leak out through the stone tiles. Among this chaos, what will Mario prioritize?
(OPTION C) Extinguish the fire

(OPTION C) Extinguish the fire
The plumber grips FLUDD's handles and sprays water across the fire. Charizard swipes down at him as he dunks beneath the claws, all while the Grimer's wiggle over in pursuit. Out of water, Mario side-flips away only to have the dragon smack him out of the air with his wing. Flung across the room, the plumbers movement gets interrupted by the poisonous Pokémon. All attacking at once, Charizard launches a massive fireball at the distracted plumber and ends the days of Princess Peach's finest servant... THE END
(OPTION D) Dispose of the Grimer's
The plumber grips FLUDD's handles and sprays the Grimer's into the wall, splattering them all at once - water bottles drop from their gooey remains. Charizard swipes down at him as he dunks beneath the claws, navigating the cylindrical room carefully. Extinguishing the ring of fire, Mario refills FLUDD while the Pokémon throws a temper tantrum and stomps his feet. Good to go, the plumber takes aim as the dragon inhales a deep breath - his tummy expands, getting ready for a wicked flamethrower.
PSSSH! Unleashing FLUDD's spray like a hydro pump, the force of the blast relentlessly enters Charizard's big mouth. The dragon moans as he swallows, flailing his arms wildly above his rapidly bloating girth. The Pokémon's eyes twirled comedically while the force feeding went on. Squeak! FLUDD huffed, totally devoid of water as Charizard's severely ballooned abdomen sloshed him in an unbalanced whirl. With a mouth full of water, the dragon gulps down the last gallon - forcing his bellybutton to pop.
Quaking the building in a cumbersome plop to his wings, Charizard's feet flew up in the air and smacked back down as his midsections gurgles could be heard from Rainbow Road. Steam blew from his nostrils, the lack of fire in his belly angered him further so he began stomping his fists into the floor as he laid there helplessly. Mario stood by and watched the Pokémon whimper and outburst into the ground, the little X on the dragons protuberant navel is a good indicator of what the plumber should do next.
(OPTION E) Ground pound that belly
(OPTION F) Let him lay there and churn
(OPTION E) Ground pound that belly
Mario jumps atop Charizard's bloat, making him huff and panic harder - beads of sweat scatter cartoonishly from his forehead. Back-flipping into the air, the plumber curls his knees into himself like a cannonball and ground pounds directly into the dragons bellybutton - making the Pokémon burst spectacularly. BOOSH! Surprised, Mario watches a shadowy blob emerge from the soaked remains. Scurrying in a mad rush to freedom, it leaves behind a Shrine Sprite. Throwing his hat into the air, the plumber celebrates his victory. "OH YEAH, IT'S MARIO TIME!" THE END
(OPTION F) Let him lay there and churn
Mario stands by and watches Charizard wallow in his own misery. Digging his claws into the floor, the dragon leans his rotund figure forward with a noisy ~GLORP~ and all his strength. Allowing his wings enough space to flap, the Pokémon flies right back on to his feet. Mario raises two fists, ready for more action. Charizard, still ready to burst, primes himself to spew out his water weight. B...B-BLAAARB! Launching the liquid out like a fire hose, the dragon face-palms himself for allowing that to happen and flies away. Among the pool he'd exhausted, a shadowy blob quivers away as a Shine Sprite lays there for Mario. Tossing his hat into the air, he celebrates his victory. "OH YEAH, I'M A THE BEST!" THE END
