Another part of a trade with GameBoy121, possibly concluding his stories involving Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Sonic characters. Happy that you enjoyed this one, friend!
It wasn’t often the two giants got together, as they both had their own explicit domains. One who didn’t know better would say that Lugia and Ho-Oh were gentle giants, only wielding their awesome power when necessary. That person would be ignorant.
“BUUUURRRRRAAAAARRRRRRRPPPPPP!” Lugia pounded his chest, as Ho-Oh watched and winced. “Urrrpp…oof. ‘Scuse me.”
“Impressive.” said the big fire bird, who sat in front of Lugia. “I assume that’s your way of telling me you’ve been indulging in some good prey lately?”
“You know it, bird!” Lugia smirked.
“Bird?” chuckled Ho-Oh. “Are you sure you’re not one too? Or maybe you’re a dragon?”
“Who cares?” the chunky white and blue Pokémon shrugged. “I’m basically a god.”
“I always thought of you as a flying whale with feet.”
“Whale?” Lugia scoffed. “No. I don’t care to be compared to something I eat.”
“Fair. You’ve been eating a lot of them lately.”
Lugia nodded. “But I recently had a strange prey too. Something that claimed to be from a place called Mobius. A bat of all things.”
A look of disgust appeared on Ho-Oh’s beak. “Eww. But I’m not surprised. I actually ate a Mobian too. See?” The fire bird reached around his back, producing a large pair of footwear, still in great condition. “These were worn by an Echidna named Knuckles. He wasn’t too tall, but had GREAT large feet. You inspired me to start keeping footwear as trophies, so I thought you would appreciate these.”
Lugia leaned forward, raising an eye to closely inspect the long-digested echidna’s shoes. “Hmmm not bad at all. The bat I ate, Rouge, had great feet too. Of course, I kept her shoes as well.”
Lugia picked up Rouge’s shoes from behind and held them up for Ho-Oh to see. He could tell from the way the bird raised an eye that he was impressed.
“Not bad. Not bad at all. Though mine are definitely the superior trophies.”
Lugia almost gagged. “What? Don’t be stupid, bird. These are clearly the better trophies. Don’t you see the pink hearts on these?”
“They’re too flashy.”
“Better than having no flash at all.”
“Do you see the size of these?” Ho-Oh raised the pair of red shoes even closer to Lugia’s eyes. “I can’t believe you of all Pokémon can’t see what I’m talking about.”
Lugia rolled his eyes, crossing his feet together in mild annoyance. “Sometimes I wonder why I don’t just fry you and eat you up like chicken.”
“Because I’m your best friend.” Ho-Oh smirked through the corner of his beak. “And you’d have a hard time finding another peer like me who also shares your love of eating all kinds of prey and also has a shameless foot fetish.”
“You got me ther-”
Lugia paused before he could finish his sentence. From the island garden that the two of the were sitting on, the huge legendary could make out a pair of fast-moving shapes coming their way. They weren’t very big, so neither Lugia nor Ho-Oh had any reason to be worried.
And then they were both kicked in the face.
****
Earlier that day…
Sonic hoped he didn’t have any reason to worry.
It had been weeks since he had last seen his friend Knuckles the echidna. In the years since the two of them had first met, they had overcome their differences in personality and had become good friends. It was uncommon for more than a week to go by without seeing each other. The fact that it had been nearly a month since the hedgehog had last seen him was concerning.
But probably not anything serious. Knuckles had a tendency to be hotheaded. It wasn’t uncommon for him to disappear on side quests, but never for this long. Having been concerned in the past, Sonic came up with a plan if his friend ever disappeared for too long.
He implanted a tiny tracking device created by Tails inside his shoe. The tracker never faded, so Knuckles obviously never discovered it, and the fact he was still able to track it, was a positive sign.
Coming up from his device, Sonic looked around. There was nothing but forestry around him. “Why can’t this thing be a little more precise?” he wondered out loud. “I keep running where it’s telling me, but nothing is coming up.”
Tails wasn’t known for making inefficient devices, so Sonic knew there was a chance something was distorting the tracking system. Whether that was intentional or not remained to be seen.
“If only I was better with this stuff.” Sonic sighed. “I’d hate to go all the way back now. Any more delay on my part could mean Knuckles is in more trouble.”
“Looking for someone too, huh?”
Sonic did a double take, looking left to see a figure appear from out of the forest clearing. Many knew the black hedgehog as his archrival, previously his enemy. Since then they had had a long, complicated relationship, but he still wouldn’t call him his friend, exactly.
“Shadow?” Sonic paused, wondering if he should take a fighting stance. “What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing.” A hint of a smile appeared on the black hedgehog’s lips. “But I won’t, because I overheard what you were saying to yourself. Knuckles is missing?”
“He is.” Sonic relaxed a bit. “It could just be nothing, but I want to make sure, you know?”
“I do. That’s why I’m here too. Rouge is missing.”
“Rouge is missing too?”
Shadow nodded, approaching the other hedgehog, now that it was clear he meant him no harm. “I haven’t seen her in weeks. It’s not like her. She told me she was going gem-hunting around here and that was the last I heard from her.”
It felt like something heavy just hit Sonic in the chest. That was too much of a coincidence. There was certainly something larger at play.
“I’m beginning to think it’s good I ran into you.” Sonic said. “If someone is keeping them hostage, I’m going to need help getting them out.”
“I wouldn’t need your help.” Shadow huffed, but not dismissively. “But two of us gives us better odds.”
With that agreement, the two of them continued their search. It turned out Shadow was pretty skilled with technology, so he took a look at Sonic’s tracker. There was some faulty wiring, and it only took him a few minutes to get it back to peak efficiency. The radar grew stronger, and now a blinking dot was pinpointing the exact location of Knuckles, at least, the exact location of his right shoe.
Eventually the signal took them to the end of the forest, and out into an expansive garden. There were still a lot of trees around them, but it looked less natural. As if someone were maintaining a garden. Way in the distance was a large mountain, where the start of a complex cavern system could be seen.
“We’ve got to nearly be there.” Sonic said. “We’re almost under the radar dot.”
“Already feeling tired?” Shadow sneered.
“Hardly.” he scoffed. “I’m just ready to get out of here and get this hunt over with.”
After a few more minutes of traveling, it looked like they couldn’t be closer to the tracking device. Sonic couldn’t believe it.
“Could they be underground?” Shadow wondered. “Maybe locked in some kind of secret underground base?”
“I’ve been to stranger things before.” the blue hedgehog nodded. “It’s not out of the question. Maybe if we get to the end of the cliff we can spot an entrance.”
“This stinks of Eggman.” said Shadow. “Out of every time we’ve had to take him down, the thing that surprises me the most is how he finds the time to construct so many secret bases.”
Sonic smiled. “I’ve always wondered that too. Let’s not pause another second.” He looked down at the blinking device in his hand. “We’ve got them almost down to the foot. Let’s run until we find them.”
Shadow agreed, and the two of them were off.
He tried not to show it, but Sonic was secretly racing Shadow. Ever since their first meeting, the two of them had always failed to settle the “who is the fastest hedgehog alive?” question, and even though they were currently allies, that didn’t make his eagerness to prove his speed any less important.
The black hedgehog didn’t seem to care about racing, so Sonic was the first to the edge of the cliff. The cliff gave him a clear, perfect view of the ocean and the rocky pathway beyond the beach, which led to the entrance of the deep, imposing cavern system.
And that’s when Sonic saw them.
“What the…”
Two giant…giant creatures were relaxing on a thick grassy area across the cliff. They were thousands of feet away, but their immense, monstrous sizes made them easy to spot. Sonic held out his hand, and Shadow stopped behind him.
“I’m guessing you’re seeing those too?” asked Shadow.
“What the hell are those things?” Sonic said, his jaw dropping.
Neither hedgehog had ever seen creatures of that size before. One of them was blue and white, looking kind of like a bird with the build of a dragon, yet the smoothness and body-quality of a mammal. Not to say it was ugly, but it was just unique.
The other being, sitting right across from the blue and white one, was clearly a bird. It had large, grey, bird feet below a white and red body with a sharp, golden beak. Both giant animals seemed like they were being friendly with each other, just sitting on the grass by the caverns relaxing.
Sonic’s observations were cut short as Shadow tapped him rapidly on the shoulder.
“What is it?”
“Can’t you see what they’re holding in their hands?”
He couldn’t. Enhanced vision was something that Shadow definitely had over Sonic.
“I don’t know. They eating little animals or something?”
“No. What does the tracker say?”
Looking down at the device, Sonic could see the dot was still blinking wildly, as if they were right in front of the shoe.
“You mean…”
“It’s exactly what I mean.” Shadow said. “That huge bird is holding one of Knuckles’ shoes, and the obese blue one has one of Rouge’s boots.”
“You think they’re Eggman robots or something?”
Shadow bent his knees, getting in a position ready to dash. “Only one way to find out, Sonic. We need to charge them.”
“Together?”
Narrowing his brow, clenching his fists and ready for a fight, Sonic joined Shadow in a mad dash to the monsters having a good time with their friends’ shoes.

NOW
Lugia, being a huge, powerful god-like Pokémon, had the fortune of never having anything phase him. The same went for Ho-Oh, as they were not just huge beasts, but immensely strong.
So it was a surprise to Lugia when a force hit him hard enough in the head to knock him onto his back.
“Bwwaarrrgghhh!” the blue and white titan cried out, as he caught himself with his winged elbows.
At his side, Lugia saw Ho-Oh go down, with a quick punch to his face. A pained wince grew on the giant bird’s beak as he went down. What started as a response of shock and pain turned into anger. What pathetic little creature thought it could get the best of two of the most powerful Pokémon on the planet? Whatever thing would dare to do that, it would soon find itself a squashed mess under Lugia’s feet.
“Grrrrrrr!” Lugia growled, sitting back up on his rump. “Who dares attack the two of us?”
The pair’s speed was almost too quick to see, but Lugia found them. Blue and black streaks circled the legendary Pokémon before coming to a stop in front of them. Both small creatures had their arms at the ready, shoes tight against the ground, eager for the giant beasts to make a move.
Lugia turned to Ho-Oh, and the bird was already looking at him. Recognition lit in both of their eyes. These two creatures bore a lot of similarities to the two Mobians that they had eaten.
“Who the hell are the two of you?” Lugia growled. “What reason could you have for so rudely assaulting us?”
“You better answer my friend’s question properly.” Ho-Oh sneered. “Or you’ll be stomped faster than you can punch.”
Both Mobians shared a look. The Pokémon gave them a second to process what was happening.
“The two of you can talk?” asked the blue hedgehog.
“I don’t see what’s surprising about it.” Lugia shrugged, showing off his massive gut and chest as he did. “You two can talk. Why not us?”
The black hedgehog took a cautious step forward. “Don’t be stupid. You must know it’s a lot less common for animals to talk.”
“ANIMALS?!?!” Ho-Oh’s beak was agape, in abject offense. “You think we’re stupid, simple animals? Clearly you’re new around here.”
“Forgive me for interrupting this interesting discussion.” The blue one swatted a gloved hand. “But I think you’ll see that we attacked you for good reason. You know those shoes you guys were holding?” Sonic pointed to Knuckles’ red shoe and Rouge’s white boot, which had been flung to the grass behind the giants after the attacks. “We recognize those things. They belong to friends of ours. Where’s the red echidna?”
“And where’s the white bat?” Shadow ordered.
The two hedgehogs could only be talking about one thing. Both Pokémon knew who they were talking about. That red echidna and white bat had been long digested, both Pokémon having had their foot-fun with them in the past week. Though, as luck would have it, both hedgehogs still seemed under the assumption that their friends were still alive. They very much weren’t.
But Lugia and Ho-Oh were not about to tell them that. Not yet, at least.
The two legendaries locked eyes again, conspiratorially. They could each tell that the other was thinking the exact same thing. It was too delicious an opportunity to pass up.
“Oh no…” Lugia raised his wings up in mock surrender. “They’ve got us, Ho-Oh. It looks like we’ve been had. It’s only a matter of time before our prisoners are released.”
“How horrible!” Ho-Oh repeated Lugia’s gesture, even raising his feet in defeat. “It looks like we’ve been bested, Lugia. I guess even powerful guys like us are no match for a couple of heroes.”
The blue and black hedgehogs looked at each other quizzically. Even they could tell there was something off about the strange creatures’ behavior.
“Lugia and Ho-Oh, huh?” The black one asked.
“Bizarre names.” The blue one crossed his arms, eased from his fighting position. “I’m Sonic, and this my…rival Shadow.” Shadow gave him some side eye, not appreciating having his name given to both beasts. “Why are you holding our friends prisoners? Are you working for Doctor Eggman?”
“Eggman?” Ho-Oh asked. “Never heard of such a doctor before. No, we’re acting on our own. We’re are own masters.”
“That didn’t answer the question.” Shadow demanded. “Why are you keeping them?”
Lugia crossed his wings over his chest haughtily. “We’re keeping them because they refused to do what we asked, and until they’re willing, they’re going to stay here.”
“What did you ask them to do?”
Lugia smiled at his fire bird pal, wiggling his huge white toes in anticipation.
“They refused to worship our feet.”
The legendary Pokémon almost couldn’t hide their amusement as looks of disbelief and disgust appeared on the hedgehogs’ faces.
“Worship…your FEET?” Sonic’s stuck his tongue out.
Neither Pokémon looked at the other, not wanting to give away any of their secrets. “Yeah…what’s so weird about it?”
“Are you trying to insult us?” Ho-Oh crossed his wings in annoyance.
“That’s neither here nor there.” Sonic said, his disgust still on his face. “Forgive us for not being eager to be right in front of and touch your giant feet.”
“I don’t see anything wrong with it.” Lugia smirked, shooting them some teeth. “You’d be surprised how many people and Pokémon we get all the time wanting to rub and lick our feet.”
“If it’s more than one, then you’re correct.” said Shadow. “We would be VERY surprised.”
Ho-Oh stuck out his feet, wiggling his enormous avian toes at the two hedgehogs. Their eyes widened at the size of them, and Sonic even took a step backwards. “Need I remind the two of you that your friends refused, and that this is how you’ll set them free?”
As if finally remembering the attacks he and Shadow had given the two Pokémon, the blue speedy hedgehog bent his knees again, hands tight into fists. “And need I remind YOU that we can still put up a fight. I’m sure your jaws are still hurting from our attacks. I think the two of us can take you.”
Now the Pokémon looked at each other again, unable to hide their smiles. They were thinking the same thing.
They wanted to give the hedgehogs a proper showing of their power.
Ho-Oh’s beak opened into a ninety-degree angle, and Lugia followed. A volcanic eruption of flames shot out from deep inside the bird. Lugia, facing the opposite direction, unleashed the strongest Hydro Pump he could, completely destroying some rocks on the edge of the cavern. Ho-Oh’s fire seemed to continue into the sky forever, perhaps cooling down and evaporation somewhere near the last layer of the atmosphere.
Even with his head turned the other way, Lugia could see both hedgehogs’ reaction. They were stunned, like identical statues. Their jaws hung open, agape, and their hands were limp at their sides. The power of both small creatures was impressive, Lugia would admit it, but looking at the power of the huge Pokémon, he could see pessimism form in their eyes.
They didn’t want to fight that.
“If the two of you would relax and swallow your pride for just a short while,” Ho-Oh licked the remnants of fire off his beak. “then your friends would thank you. It’s either just some easy foot time, or you get to go up against us.”
Both hedgehogs looked at each other. Lugia could practically read the thoughts coming out of their heads. It seemed they were reading each other just as easily. Sonic and Shadow grimaced, looking ready to swallow their pride to do the easy thing for their friends.
“Come on,” Lugia said, shamelessly extending his enormous stompers for the Mobians. “All we really need are the tops of our feet rubbed. That’s it. Just do it for a few minutes and those boring pals of yours will be set free.”
With Lugia showing off his feet like that, Sonic and Shadow got the clearest look of his feet so far. The huge Pokémon, seemingly as a sign of his foot fetish, wore sets of toe rings on each foot. On his left were bright, beautiful red and blue gems, and on his right were green and yellow.
Ho-Oh’s toe rings were just as huge and striking. The fire bird had similarly colored jewels on his rings, except he was only wearing three instead of Lugia’s four. Taking a cue from his friend, the fire-breathing bird extending his toes as well.
In their initial attack, Sonic had attacked Lugia and Shadow had attacked Ho-Oh. Still in semi-fighting positions, Lugia was still closer to Sonic, with Ho-Oh sitting closer to Shadow. Based on the steady, eager glares of the giant, foot-loving Pokémon, they each assumed their roles had already been assigned to them.
“Come on, Shadow,” Ho-Oh smirked at the corner of his beak, wiggling his three gray avian toes. “these aren’t going to rub themselves.”
Shadow groaned, but looked to Sonic first, not wanting to be the first one to make a move.
“Very well.” Sonic said, defeatedly. “It won’t be more than a few minutes though, and we WILL get our friends back. Understand?”
“We are Pokémon of our words.” Lugia put a winged finger to his chest proudly. “Of course we understand.”
Both hedgehogs looked to Ho-Oh, whose nodding head signified that he also agreed.
Sonic approached first. Lugia’s huge, chunky, marshmallow toes were on shameless display for him. They were enormous. Just one of his toes were almost bigger than Sonic’s whole body. In a weird way, Sonic thought, he could understand why such a huge creature would have a foot-fetish. The feet were so big, and making small creatures worship them was probably enjoyable, but that wasn’t something Sonic would ever experience.
The massive toes were splayed out, as Lugia lowered his right foot to the ground. A light glow off the gems of his toe rings caught his eyes as he approached, and the three toes wiggled noticeably as Lugia’s grin widened, happy to see the smaller creature give in to the deal.
Looking over at his avian pal, Ho-Oh was looking similarly as Shadow, as the black hedgehog put his gloved hand out for the first time to touch his toes. Ho-Oh’s toes were noticeably different than Lugia’s, but that certainly didn’t make having to rub them more appealing to Shadow. The legendary Pokémon’s skinnier, more prehensile feet meant Shadow was going to have to work harder than Sonic to cover more skin. The sharp, piercing claws at the end of his talons told Shadow that he needed to be careful, and watch to make sure the bird didn’t try anything funny.
Sonic’s gloves touched Lugia’s feet first. The toes were so big and imposing that the hedgehog didn’t know where the start. The huge monster’s toes were still eagerly splayed, so Sonic figured the tops of his feet would be the easiest. Sonic began with the outer toe, softly rubbing the top of it, feeling the softness of the white fur in between his fingers. In another context, Sonic might have thought what he was touching was just a fluffy, soft pillow. But it was a toe. A huge white toe belonging to a beast keeping his friends hostage. As he privately winced, putting pressure along the top and inner side of the toe, the reality of the situation didn’t give any pleasure.
At the touch of the hedgehog’s small hands on the top of his foot, Lugia opened his mouth and let out a loud sigh, clearly not caring that Sonic and Shadow could hear him. His giant toes even twitched lightly in pleasure at the sensation.
“Ever do this to a Pokémon, Sonic?” Lugia snickered. “Rub their superior feet?”
“I don’t have much experience with ‘Pokémon’.” Sonic frowned. “So, no, this is pretty new to me.”
“What about you, talkative one?” Ho-Oh teased Shadow, brushing his middle toe against Shadow’s body. “You’re doing good so far.”
The black hedgehog grunted. “I don’t care to talk during this, bird.”
“Bird?” Ho-Oh said, quizzically. “That almost sounded like an insult.” Even as Shadow’s fingers got more comfortable, rubbing his middle avian toe up and down, and under, he turned to Lugia. “You don’t think that was meant as an insult, do you, Lugia?”
“I’m the only one allowed to use ‘bird’ as an insult to him.” Lugia laughed. “When it comes from small hedgehogs, it really doesn’t mean much.”
Both legendaries looked at each other again, subtly nodding. Lugia began to salivate at the thoughts coming into his head. Ho-Oh was surely thinking the same thing. They were about to have some delicious fun with the strange hedgehogs, but they could also get some foot fun out of it as well.
Sonic couldn’t help but grimace, as he continued down the middle toe. It was so big he could hardly wrap his arms around it. He continued, slowly, starting from the edge of the middle toe inward, having to position his body in between the middle and the right toe, praying that Lugia wouldn’t stop splaying his toes, lest he get stuck between the awful things. At least Ho-Oh’s toes weren’t so fat, and probably wouldn’t be as bad to get stuck in between.
“Mmmmm.” Lugia closed his eyes, moaning. “That’s good. Keep it up a little more. Your friends will thank you.”
He continued down the middle, now using both hands. He cupped the underside of the toe with one hand, and with his free one, massaged it all around the sides, ending up at the top. The massive toe ring sat at the base of the toe, which gave Sonic some more room at the front. Looking at the beautiful gems on the rings, Sonic couldn’t help but think Rouge would love to have them.
Ho-Oh and Lugia locked eyes. Lugia shot him some teeth.
Grrrooooaaaaannn… went Lugia’s stomach.
And based on the hungry look on the fire bird’s eyes, he was hungry too. The hedgehogs wouldn’t be full meals, but they would be fun snacks that could have some delightful fight left. They just had to do one easy thing.
In the next moment, Lugia and Ho-Oh closed their toes. Sonic and Shadow let out surprised yips as their bodies became immobilized by the massive toes.
“Gah!” Sonic shouted, as he tried to wiggle his arms free. Despite how soft Lugia’s toes were, they were strong enough keep his arms at his sides. “What the hell? We were doing what you asked!”
“You were. I’m not saying you weren’t.” Lugia said, lightly drumming his wings on his belly, thoughtfully. “But Ho-Oh and I have plans we didn’t cue you in on.”
Turning to Ho-Oh, the bird had Shadow in a painful grip, and he was grinning cruelly down at the struggling hedgehog. As Ho-Oh’s toes were thinner, he needed to use a little more force to keep Shadow from escaping. Lugia had to laugh at the black hedgehog’s struggles.
“Aww, my feet too strong for the little hedgehog?” Ho-Oh teased, athletically raising his foot close to his head to inspect the struggling Shadow closer. “Kinda cute, actually. You remind me a lot of the echidna. He was a fighter too.”
“Monsters!” Sonic shouted, biting his teeth as he tried squirming harder in between the big white toes to no success. “You were never going to agree to let our friends go, were you?”
“Mmmm no.” Ho-Oh said. “It would be hard to, considering where they are.”
“You underestimate us!” Shadow shouted. “Where are they? Where’s Rouge!”
Lugia smirked, running a huge winged finger across his obese blue belly. “The dumb bat? Last I checked she was deep inside me.” His whole, chunky body rose and fell with laughter. “I swallowed her whole, alive, but she’s certainly not alive anymore.”
Before either Sonic or Shadow could register the shock of the gluttonous, foot-obsessed Pokémon’s words, Ho-Oh turned to Sonic, stroking his feathered belly with a wing. “The echidna was pretty tasty. Very nice feet. That’s always a good feature in my food. Oh, yes, he’s certainly good and digested now too.”
“You monsters!” Sonic screamed, squirming harder. “I…you’re lying! You’re going to take us to them!”
Fury burned bright in both of their eyes. Whether or not Shadow believed that the Pokémon had eaten and killed their friends, just the act of taking pleasure in their supposed digestion was enough to set him off.
“Chaos CONTROL!”
Shadow began to glow bright, and Sonic, knowing now was the time for the big fight, joined him. Lugia watched, not in fright, but in curiosity, as the hedgehog stuck between his toes began to glow. He dragged his tongue across his lips as he watched the brightness from the chaos emeralds slowly drain from Sonic. With a wiggle of his toes, careful to keep Sonic stuck in between them, the gems on his toe rings began to match Sonic’s glow. A light was suddenly being sucked from him, and the gems were absorbing the power.
Ho-Oh’s toe gems were producing the same result. Shadow, high on fury at the idea of Rouge being digested in an awful bird-dragon-thing’s fat belly, began to burn brighter and brighter, but the more energy he used, the more Ho-Oh’s toe rings blasted their own light. As Sonic and Shadow were still unable to free themselves from the feet, it dawned on them what was happening.
“What the…?” Sonic’s mouth fell open, as the chaos energy drained from him.
The truth came to Shadow first. “Their toe rings are absorbing all the chaos energy!”
“Chaos energy?” Ho-Oh scoffed, resting his toes back on the ground, still tight on Shadow. “Never heard of that before. Whatever it is, it isn’t strong enough for the power of our gems.”
“You think we wear these just for show?” Lugia smiled. “Not that dressing up our toesies wouldn’t be good in itself, but if we can infuse power-absorbing material into our gems, then of course we’re going to do it.”
Lugia and Ho-Oh waited until it looked like all the chaos energy had left the hedgehogs’ bodies. Relaxing their toes even a little bit could have backfired, as the gems only worked at a certain range. Keeping the Mobians still until the proper colors returned to Sonic and Shadow’s bodies was easy enough.
“What…” Sonic stammered. “What are you going to do to us?”
“Trapped in between my toes, weak, and stupid.” Lugia laughed. “Did you not hear about what we did to your friends? It would be inconsiderate of us not to get you where they are.” The chunky blue and white monster turned to Ho-Oh, raising his leg up in the air, now with half his rump in the air too. “This hedgehog is the one who came looking for the echidna. Here, Ho-Oh, show him where he went.”
“I was just thinking the same thing!” Ho-Oh cheered, mimicking Lugia’s gesture as his avian foot was raised above his belly, Shadow still tight in between his avian, predator feet. Knowing what was about to happen, Shadow struggled even more aggressively, to no avail. “And the angry black one here wants exactly what the bat got. I heard your stomach groan earlier, pal. You want him now, don’t you?”
“Ohhh I love you, friend.” Lugia’s fat pink tongue fell out of its mouth as he dragged it across his lips. A trail of slobber cartoonishly feel from his mouth, creating a puddle on the ground. “You’re always so eager to indulge me.”
“Only if you return the favor.” Ho-Oh rubbed his wingers together in anticipation. “Let me see your stomper. I want a taste of those round, chunky, perfect toes!”
Lugia raised his foot higher in the air, wiggling his toes so Ho-Oh could get a look at the terrified Sonic. “You know you’re the only bird I care about, Ho-Oh, but that doesn’t mean I hate bird feet. I want to slip my tongue in between your thin, strong, grabby talons!”
Bending forward, drooling maw wide open, Ho-Oh let Lugia have fun first, since he was hungrier. At the sight of the giant’s fat tongue getting closer, Shadow’s struggling resumed. Tiny flashes of chaos energy would spark around him, causing a little twitch in the bird’s toes, but it was nothing that was going to save him.
Ho-Oh watched Shadow disappear as Lugia closed his lips over half his foot. Lugia placed his teeth a few inches past the base of the bird’s toes, the perfect place for his tongue to go to work. All three toes came together as Lugia began to suck, delighting in the unique flavor, while careful not to slip Shadow out from the toes. He wanted the dumb hedgehog to be there for the whole thing.
He slipped his tongue in between the opposite toes to Shadow, lapping it over the sharp talons while careful not to get cut on them. Lugia’s tongue curled along the sides of the toes, leaving not an inch free of drool.
“Oooohhhh!” Ho-Oh had to lie down on his back because of the unique pleasure. “More. More!”
“Knock it off!” Sonic screamed, still stuck in between Lugia’s toes. “Let him go!”
Both Pokémon heard him, but they didn’t care. Sonic may as well have been a lifeless pebble accidentally stuck between his toes.
Lugia was now on his knees, as Ho-Oh lay down on his back, reveling in the treatment by Lugia’s tongue. His foot was now underneath his rear, so Sonic couldn’t even see anything. All he could see was Lugia’s enormous, round rump.
Now Lugia’s tongue enveloped Shadow, easily slipping him out from between Ho-Oh’s toes. His tongue was easily big enough to taste the hedgehog’s whole body at once. He paused, using his teeth to take off Shadow’s shoes and socks, spitting them onto the ground, leaving his tasty bare feet free for the Pokémon’s pleasure. Lugia moaned from Shadow’s taste, which now nicely paired with the taste of bird feet from being stuck in between the toes for as long as he was. He eagerly moved his tongue up and down between the toes, sucking the remaining taste of Shadow out. He allowed his tongue an extra minute just for Shadow’s feet. As big as his tongue was, he was able to split Shadow’s toes to get the great flavor in between, before finishing with several eager laps to his soles and his heels.
Lugia sucked all three toes at the same time, slowly dragging his lips away from the foot, now that Shadow was in his mouth. He lightly nibbled on his toes as he withdrew, leaving little bite marks, which Ho-Oh, still moaning in pleasure, enjoyed.
He raised his neck up high, sucking Shadow’s body like a piece of candy. Lugia rudely smacked his chops as Shadow fell to the back of his throat. With a winged finger, Lugia dragged the bulge down his throat after a loud swallow.
“GULP!”
The gulp became smaller, then vanished as it entered his chest.
“Tasty!” Lugia patted his belly happily, causing his huge gut to jiggle. “I can’t decide who was better. The bat or the hedgehog.”
“There’s time to decide later.” Ho-Oh was back in a seated position, drool already dripping from his beak. “My turn! Your foot. Now!”
Lugia was happy to give his friend what he wanted. Returning to a seating position, Lugia extended his foot. Ho-Oh cupped Lugia’s heel with his wing as he lowered his head to his toes. Sonic was still stuck there, speechless, in disbelief that something as powerful as Shadow had just been swallowed whole like a crumb of food. Before he could think about protesting, the tip of the bird’s beak gripped his shoes, easily plucking them off, along with his socks, and letting them fall to the grass below. Now that Sonic was barefoot, Ho-Oh let his tongue curl the Lugia’s heel, slowly dragging it along the sole all the way to his toes. He got the taste of Sonic’s feet along with the taste of Lugia’s at the same time. Ho-Oh let his tongue sway back and forth under the toes, sweeping under them and slipping in between them as he got deep into where most of the flavor was. Closing his beak over half his friend’s foot, Ho-Oh began sucking the drool back in his mouth, now that it had captured the flavor of Lugia’s feet.
Once he’d had enough of it, he slipped his tongue in between Lugia’s right and middle toes, where Sonic was stuck, and dug him out, flicking him into his mouth with his tongue. Even with Sonic in his mouth, he still wanted more of the taste of Lugia’s foot. He continued sucking until there wasn’t an inch left that was dry, or that still had its delicious foot flavor. He nibbled on the fat toes, causing Lugia to involuntarily twitch them.
“Ahhhh! Mmmmmm!” Lugia was lying on his back, stomping his other foot repeatedly on the ground in bliss. “You know your way with feet, bird boy!”
“Why haven’t we done this before?” Ho-Oh asked, with a mouth full of toes, and Sonic. “We’re doing this all the time. Prey between your toes is the best prey.”
Sitting back up, Ho-Oh sloshed Sonic around a bit more, slapping him from one side of his beak to the other, while finding his feet every time and lathering them with drool. When he was done, and thought Sonic had quite enough, he raised his head up and swallowed, sending the poor hedgehog down into his gut, just as he had done with Knuckles days before.
“Ahhhh…” Ho-Oh rubbed his gut with his wing, letting his tongue fall out of his mouth. “That was sooooo much fun. He would have been tasty by himself, but adding your feet?” He smacked his chomps again. “Truly a meal!”
“I could say the same.” Lugia reclined, shamelessly showing off his gut, and extending his drool-covered feet. “I never would have thought bird feet were the things to make my food so much better.”
“Knock it off.” Ho-Oh teased. “Us birds aren’t that bad.”
“I’m just saying you’re lucky I’ve never eaten you.”
Laughing, Ho-Oh reached down to pick up Sonic’s shoes. He brought them to eye-level, admiring them. “What luck. As we were talking about our new trophies earlier, we just gained two more.”
“What luck indeed!” Lugia picked up Shadow’s footwear to inspect them. “That dumb hedgehog won’t need these things anymore. They’re going to look great next to that stupid bat’s boots.”
“Mine are better.” Ho-Oh smiled.
Lugia shrugged. “This again? We’re never going to get through to each other, are we?”
“We’re just going to have to keep eating people and collecting their footwear until we agree.
Lugia shook his gut one more time, reveling in the thought of Shadow sloshing around in there. “And after that, we continue to eat people.”
****
NOW
Lugia, being a huge, powerful god-like Pokémon, had the fortune of never having anything phase him.
