When two Pokemon want to wait out a storm in the same small cave, it looks like they'll have to duke it out to see who stays. There isn't room for two, after all. Unless they come up with an interesting compromise...
Commission for kirito467 :)
Just as the rain became a harsh downpour, Cinderace reached the cave and ducked under the grassy overhang. A wall of water practically crashed down behind him as the intensity of the rain overtook the area. He couldn’t believe he’d made it! He turned back around to look out at the storm, the wind whipping the trees and the low sound of thunder in the distance. He was already soaked, of course; his formidable speed hadn’t saved him entirely. But he seemed to have escaped the worst of it.
With a relieved sigh, he slumped back against the wall to catch his breath. He ran a paw through the white fur of his face and his orange stripe of hair, but it was slicked down with the sheer amount of water saturating his fur. Cinderace shivered. The lean and muscular Pokemon wasn’t exactly built to survive damp, windy environments. He’d gone out earlier in the day to bask in the sunshine, but hadn’t gotten home quickly enough to avoid the sudden summer storm.
It was a while before he realized the storm wasn’t letting up anytime soon. He groaned. He didn’t want to sit around, but it seemed he didn’t have much of a choice, unless he wanted to dart outside again and subject himself to the elements. The fire-type Pokemon wasn’t exactly fond of the idea. As it was, he was still shaking water out of his fur.
It occurred to him to move to the far wall both to avoid what rain the wind was spraying inside, and also to hopefully warm up a bit as his fur began to dry, so he pushed himself tiredly to his feet and trudged to the back. The cave didn’t seem spacious, more like a small burrow, but it was at least deep enough to keep him away from the elements. Protected from the weather, it had a cozy atmosphere. It seemed like a pretty good place to hunker down.
Moving to the back, though, he realized the dark, shadowed area actually went a bit deeper than he’d imagined. He shrugged, deciding to go farther inside. He had all the time in the world to explore while he waited out the storm, right? Stepping carefully in the dimly-lit area, he continued down the tunnel. Soon, the drumming of the rain outside was muted by the dirt walls, and gusts of wind finally couldn’t reach far enough through the burrow’s tunnel to blast his body with the cold air.
Eventually, what had started as a relatively reasonably-sized tunnel actually opened up into what was more of a room, the perfect place to rest. It was probably the waiting around that would be the hardest part for the physically active Pokemon. Deciding that sleeping might hurry up the process, Cinderace eventually lay down on the cool bare floor, his fur still damp and ruffled slightly as he absently combed a paw through it.
“Who are you?”
The unexpected voice immediately snapped him back to high alert. He jumped back to his feet, spinning toward the sound. Standing on the other side of the expansive cave, an Alcremie stared back at him in confusion. Her tiny form was a splotch of white against the relative darkness, as the front of the cave clearly wasn’t letting much light down the tunnel due to the storm outside. Despite the dark backdrop, though, she still didn’t seem at all threatening, much shorter than Cinderace and with a soft, malleable body that resembled whipped cream.
Cinderace relaxed slightly, though still wary. At least the Alcremie’s tone didn’t seem overtly hostile. “I’m just a traveler, staying out of the rain.”
That apparently wasn’t the response Alcremie was looking for. “No no no you can’t stay here!” she huffed. “I live here!”
Cinderace gave her a mildly irritated scowl, putting out his paws to calm her. “It’s just until the storm ends. I just need some shelter.”
The creamy white Pokemon just glared, unconvinced. Cinderace could understand being angry at a stranger invading her home, but he hadn’t known anyone lived here. And it was just temporary. Why was she being so unreasonable? “As soon as the rain stops, I’ll be on my way,” he tried to explain. “I don’t want to stay here or anything.”
“There are plenty of trees and stuff to take shelter under outside,” she retorted, seemingly angrier by the minute. Even though the Alcremie was significantly smaller, she stood her ground, trying to look intimidating. It certainly wasn’t easy, due to her rather small stature. Between that, and the two soft dollops of cream perfectly swirled over her head, she gave off the appearance of someone meek. However, Cinderace could see from the expression on her face that she was anything but. “If I just let in every single Pokemon looking for shelter when it rains, they’d take over the cave, and there’d be no room left for me!”
“The storm is a bit more intense than being able to just hide under a tree!” Cinderace clearly wasn’t getting through to her. He understood this cave was her home, but he was getting desperate not to be thrown out into the storm again. No way that was happening. He took several steps forward, looming over the much smaller Pokemon. “I just need to stay until the rain ends, at least. Then I’ll never come back.”
It sounded like a fair compromise to the fiery Pokemon, but by now, Alcremie was too angry to change her mind. “All I want his for you to get out of my home! You didn’t even ask!”
“I didn’t know anyone lived here,” Cinderace repeated, starting to feel annoyed, although his words were lost on the opposing Pokemon. He watched in concern as the cream Pokemon gathered her energy for an attack. Startled, Cinderace quickly got ready to counter it. He hadn’t expected it to come to a fight. He felt bad about invading her home, but still wasn’t going to just be chased back outside; he could hear some of the thunder outside even from all the way down here. Not a chance.
Finally, Alcremie released her power into a dazzling gleam, but it wasn’t any match for Cinderace’s natural speed, and he was able to dodge, just barely. He tried reasoning one last time. “I’m not trying to take it from you! I just want to use it until the storm ends and it’s safe to go outside. Stop!”
She didn’t stop, of course, readying herself for another attack. Unsure what else to do, Cinderace ran toward her, deciding that fighting back was possibly the only way to stop her now. The physically fit Pokemon knew that most fighting moves would barely affect the fairy-Pokemon, so he instead summoned all of his fire energy around him. The sudden light flickered against the cave walls. It helped illuminate the interior of the burrow better than before, giving him a clear view of the area. It was small, but large enough for a fair fight. It would have to be good enough. He coated his body in the flames and charged.
It was a direct hit, the Alcremie being flung back in surprise. She didn’t take all too much damage, but it certainly didn’t make her mood any better, the much smaller Pokemon responding by just immediately preparing her next course of action. As she readied another move for battle, Cinderace tried to think of a plan. Fire was his obvious strength in this situation, but he didn’t even necessarily want to battle in the first place. How could he end this? Or perhaps he’d be forced to defeat her anyway if he wanted to stay during the storm? He hadn’t come in intending to run her out of her home. He’d only wanted to borrow what he’d thought was a simple, abandoned hole in the ground where the wind and rain couldn’t reach.
Unfortunately, the Alcremie wasn’t done fighting, unleashing another attack. Cinderace was taken off guard by the other Pokemon’s energy suddenly coming his way, forced to move quickly to avoid it. And who was the ‘fiery’ Pokemon here again? Despite the threat of the weather outside, she was fighting even harder than he was!
The battle went on for a while, both sides dealing each other blows. Cinderace relied heavily on his fire abilities, but they ended up fairly matched by Alcremie’s much higher ability to defend herself. She waited out each of his attacks before releasing her own. The two Pokemon actually started to feel tired more than anything, each of them gradually slowing down as they ran out of ideas for strategies to defeat the other.
“This is useless!” Cinderace yelled to her, just as he narrowly dodged another attack. “Can’t we talk this out?” He yelped as the next attack clipped him while he’d been distracted.
Of course, the Alcremie was also looking worse for wear. She panted between each move, struggling to keep up her strength. “I already told you to leave! Several times now, actually!”
“I’m not letting you send me back out into the storm!” Seeing his chance, Cinderace tried to summon his strength for another attack while she was catching her breath. He knew he had to give up on reasoning with her by this point. He just wasn’t getting through. Taking a few deep breaths of his own, he ran toward her, hoping to land another blow.
Preparing for his oncoming move, Alcremie suddenly began to change form.
Startled, Cinderace stopped in his tracks, watching with concern as the opposing Pokemon began to transform into her Gigantamax form. As her power increased, she soon became even taller than the relatively average-height Cinderace, looming over the other more muscular Pokemon as he stood and gawked. The soft, drooping whipped cream-shape of her body soon became a large structure that more or less resembled a cake, tiers upon tiers towering over Cinderace in the confined space. He couldn’t believe the cave was even tall enough.
Before he could react, she suddenly threw another attack at him. This time, he’d been so distracted that he wasn’t able to dodge, and just took the attack head-on. Streams of cream poured from her body towards him, the power of her large form making it able to strike him from every angle before he could move. He couldn’t get away in time. There was nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. No way to escape.
Cinderace gasped from the sudden onslaught, but the moment he opened his mouth, tendrils of cream were blasted inside from the force of the attack, sliding quickly down his throat. He tried to turn away, but the Alcremie was attacking him from angle. No matter which way Cinderace turned, blasts from her huge form were already there waiting for him, surrounding him with the whipped cream of her Gigantamax body. What had started as a small Pokemon, Alcremie was now a towering mass he was slowly being forced to consume as each attack was forced through his jaws.
As the cream poured into his lean torso, Cinderace was first aware of the enormous pressure quickly growing in his middle. The flavor of the cream wasn’t bad or anything—quite the opposite—but coming from the rival Pokemon, it bore down on him relentlessly, quickly filling up his stomach until it was swollen and taut. Even when full, however, his stomach continued to stretch, the sugary concoction having simply nowhere else to go.
His maw stretched open by the force of Alcremie’s attacks, Cinderace didn’t even have any way to protest.“Mmphf!”
“There’s no way we can both stay in this tiny cave!” Alcremie shouted to him. “You’re too big, and I wouldn’t be able to use my Gigantamax form when I want to! But I think I can come up with a compromise.”
While Alcremie spoke, tendrils of cream continued to pour down Cinderace’s throat. He was quickly unable to turn and run anymore, Alcremie’s huge, intimidating form continuing to bombard Cinderace with the full brunt of her powers, the creamy heaviness gushing into his body. He tried to struggle, but quickly found he couldn’t do anything to stop her. He soon started to experience the effects of the weight inside him as he felt himself continue to bloat. He put both paws on his belly, already feeling stuffed with the amount of cream being packed inside. It only continued to grow as he held it, stretching to hold the other Pokemon’s power, becoming even larger. He wasn’t sure how that was even possible—She was just so strong! The weight and force of it eventually caused him to fall back onto his rump, his bloated body wobbling and jiggling with the impact. Despite his white fur, a warm, pink blush began to show on Cinderace’s cheeks; was he really that big already?
No sooner had the thought crossed his mind that he realized his gut was slowly overtaking his lap, eventually bulging far enough that he couldn’t hope to see over its curve. His sides rounded out too, his entire midsection pressed out from the overwhelming pressure inside. What had once been a lean, muscular physique had all but disappeared by now, as even his limbs began to swell. He realized that the force of Alcremie’s power was strong enough to make the cream digest quickly, turning into soft, pillowy fat that was beginning to pad his body.
His rump began to blimp into two quivering orbs, the small tuft of his tail barely visible between them. His legs became more fully trapped beneath the blubbery pile of his own belly forming on his lap, his arms feeling heavy and slow, pushed outward by the multiple rolls of his gut they now rested upon. He couldn’t even hope to bring them together anymore, as his swollen moobs quickly became too thick to reach past, taking up a good deal of space on his frontside.
Obviously, the star of the show was still his distended middle, as it continually swelled from Alcremie’s weighty attacks. He stared helplessly at the other Pokemon, but after what seemed like an incredible amount of time, the force of her Gigantimax powers finally began to dwindle. A large portion of the cream was already inside of Cinderace. Still unable to escape, however Cinderace could only squirm as Alcremie’s entry began to slow, feeling the way his entire body bounced. Since he was filled with cream, it was soft and pliable, giving way easily beneath his fingers when he grabbed at his significantly-sized middle. When he tried to put his arms under it to feel its heft, he was startled to find that he could hardly get his arms around any part of it at all. He began blushing again to see that his fruitless efforts only resulted in it rippling like an unending ocean. Even sitting up was a chore, as his body struggled to fold due to the overflowing weight of his belly. It bulged and shifted at every touch, like a big soft water balloon, but full of the entire weight of Alcremie’s cream instead.
As Alcremie’s attacks lessened, she seemed to become smaller and smaller, as if returning to her more normal form. Cinderace suddenly realized that it wasn’t actually just Alcremie’s size shrinking — he was continuously growing larger, making her seem small by comparison. All of the space she had taken up until recently, was now being taken up by Cinderace as his body continued absorbing the extra creamy calories and turning it rapidly into fat.
Still, throughout the process, Alcremie continued to enter him. He wanted to ask what the point was, but it was finally then that she spoke.
“Well, I guess you can have the cave now,” she smirked. “I just made myself a new one. I’ll admit it’s a bit smaller, but not for long. And I think this way we can both stay cozy in here.”
Cinderace raised his brows in confusion. Maybe a little alarm, too. It was really all he could do while his mouth was still being continuously occupied. “Mhmf?”
“Since you’re a fire-type Pokemon, I’m sure I’ll be much warmer in my new home anyway.”
He finally understood. She was intending to quite literally live inside him? “Mhmff!” Despite his whine, however, Cinderace soon found himself blushing again at the idea of Alcremie making her way into his blubbery tum. He couldn’t believe how big he’d gotten with the force of her powers. Even now, as he continued to digest the extra cream from her Gigantimax attacks, he could feel it rapidly turning into lard that only continued to spread. Every part of him jiggled now, even the multiple spare chins that had formed, and the chubby cheeks partially obscuring his vision while the last of Alcremie’s energy poured through his jaws.
Soon, the very last of the huge Alcremie dripped down into his bulging gut, the feeling of her actual body filling his mouth and then sliding slowly down his throat until she got there. His jaws were still dripping from the remnants of cream that he’d consumed, but he was finally able to speak again—although it probably didn’t matter, since for the life of him, he couldn’t think of a single thing to say. “Hey!”
He heard Alcremie laugh; or rather, felt her laugh, since she was pressing on his insides from every possible angle. His entire body quaked with her movements, rippling with the cream. “You said you wanted to stay in the cave. Now that I’ve found an easier way to stay here myself, you can.”
“This is NOT what I meant!” Cinderace found he had to rock forward to even begin to rise to his feet. The weight of his gut was pressing his legs wide apart, which were also quite chunky, to say the least, each of them so fat that his thighs couldn’t quite get away from each other. After gathering a bit of momentum from rocking forward and wriggling his way off his rump, he found he was actually able to stand. His balance wasn’t great, completely thrown off by the new weight on his frame, but he was now fully aware of how heavy he was. Soft fat coated the entire surface of his body, his pudgy arms huge and resting upon the curves of his massive love handles. When standing, he felt that even his legs were caked with layers of adipose, although fortunately sturdy enough beneath this ‘largest’ asset, his actual gut that took up so much space it didn’t quite get off the ground. The layers of pudge were practically filling the center of the cave.
Looking around at the way he practically filled the space, he really couldn’t believe he had gotten so large. What was still visible of his now well-rounded arms rested uselessly at his sides, so flabby he could barely move them, except to explore all of the new chub directly beneath them. He couldn’t believe how soft it was as he ran his paws over it. Then he realized that even his fingers had swollen to round, chubby beans encased in even more adipose. He assumed the same had happened to his feet, although he couldn’t possibly hope to see his other pudgy paws around his huge, blubbery gut. When he even tried to squeeze at it, it seemed endless, all traces of definition from his muscles long gone beneath the layers of fat. Alcremie had done all of this with one Gigantimax battle? The thought of how easily the small fairy Pokemon had defeated him made him blush. As he continued to try exploring his own new form, he also felt a little warm at the thought. She’d expertly blimped up his body into a nearly-unmovable mass.
When he finally managed to stand, Alcremie shifted inside him. “I was right! It is much warmer in here!”
“Shut up,” Cinderace growled, although he was somewhat embarrassed to see just how large he’d gotten. Hopefully Alcremie couldn’t tell that much. “You need to get out right now!”
“That sounds familiar.” He could practically hear her smirk. In a sarcastic voice, she mimicked, “Oh, but the storm!”
Cinderace rolled his eyes, although he couldn’t help but begin to realize the full weight of what transpired. He also couldn’t help the pun that popped into his mind. Either way, he supposed he was paying the price for how he’d treated Alcremie earlier. “I’m sorry about that,” he sighed. He instinctively went to cross his arms, but remembered a moment later that he couldn’t, both flabby limbs merely pressing helplessly into the sides of his gut. Which, now that he realized the full extent of his size, brought up another worry—he couldn’t stay like this!
At a loss for what to do, he tried asking her again. At least he might slim down a bit if Alcremie left, right? “Fine. If you let me go right now, I’ll go back out into the rain.” Even that would be better than this, he supposed.
“Nope. I like this.”
Despite himself, Cinderace felt himself blushing again. “Hey!”
“You wanted to stay here during the rain, now you have to stay here anyway. You’re suddenly upset about that?”
“Well… I’ll just leave anyway, and you’ll have to get out in order to get back to your cave,” he huffed, turning toward the entrance. It wasn’t easy, the weight of his belly pressing down on his legs and making them barely mobile beneath the crushing weight. He took several shuffling steps in the entrance’s direction, his body wobbling the whole time, his new inhabitant sloshing back and forth inside his middle the entire time, only to suddenly realize the obvious.
The tunnel would be too narrow.
“Oh, what’s wrong?” Alcremie felt him come to a quivering halt, what momentum he’d built almost dragging him off his feet and rolling him onto his belly. “Is leaving harder than you thought?”
“Hrmf.” Cinderace tried crossing his arms again, although they rested mostly on the sides of his shelf of a gut.
“Don’t worry. This cave is great, I’m sure you’ll quite like it in here!”
Cinderace didn’t respond, too flustered to know what to say. He still wasn’t used to having an Alcremie inside him. Or any Pokemon, for that matter.
He sighed, staring longingly at the rain at the other end of the tunnel. One thing was true; with the warm new weight of his inflated body, buried deeply in cave, it sure was cozy down here.
