Dismayed by his inability to defend himself after his transformation, Kass turns to the local experts of yinglet combat for training.

Can't get stabbed if there's a swarm of protective admirers around you willing to get stabbed first!
Yeahhhh I didn't add them until the end but boy was it the right choice.
I actually played one on SL for a fair while, but never had them drawn or fully fleshed out.
Might do that >.>

Spear dancer maybe sound funny but actualy if people look good into some games or real life fight style they can notice fight with weapon can look like a dance and actualy dance and fight have sometimes common moves that work very well in combat
there is evern class called blade dancer wich despite the name is strong class depending on agility and finesse and overcome easy class depending on strengh same go in real life as brute strengh wont win if you cant hit someone

There's some historical precedent for it too, in a buncha cultures!
funny is my sona is also that kind of fighter but class i gave her is quite unical coz she or i am i always got hard to call her me even if its ture coz i am shy anyway class is "flame Dancer"
moust interesting is not that its mage style but mix of magic and sword fight we could say flame aroud her act like alive when she fight flame folow like it would dancing around her so when she strike flame also attack

Freaking heck! Today I was doing some world-build and the females of the River Enclave would paint their bodies with various traditional marks in a glowing dye made from moss native to the region! You just validated so much headcanon even if this isn't!
That being said, I absolutely love the markings on display!

Maybe Kass can get lessons from Freya Crescent... Can imagine Lippy and Kass under her tutelage; it might help with the former's confidence.
Can't help but wonder how Lippie might respond to medication; both how it affects personality and also considering Yinglet toxin-resistance might pose a complication. Wondering if her hitting an in-world bong or taking some other anti-anxiety compound would enable her to earn a set of spectacles like her mum. Also, I'm curious if Yinglets have considered blowguns as a means of hunting since they'd be resistant to the envenomed darts.
On a side note, was wondering if Vizlet had ever coupled with Poak? For some reason a Professor Hulk-like result comes to mind as a consequence of that mating, with a very buff but clever Yinglet with their progenitor's belly and Viz's need for glasses. Sorry, but the world building and alternate universe stuff really sets the mind buzzing sometimes.

I think you're poking fun at me, but..
I meant it fits his personality extremely well.

After the outfit was done, Kass still looked pretty bare and visually boring, so I just decided to experiment and see how bodypaints looked.
Annnnd that's the element that ended up defining the piece more than anything else, I think! Love it when that happens.

And that's the moment Kass cracks the spear in half over his head.
In which the Patriarch discovers a unique way to indulge a fetish not often met.
I like grumpy Kass better, but I feel like the two version are more like a progression of the scenario than only one or the other happening.
I like to think that by that point, Kass was just "Fine whatever I'm already in this weird outfit, just go with it"
Sounds like that Yinglet needs to learn a few of the "finer points" of respecting women.
That design is to DIE FOR! The white-on-brown with the blue? Chef's Kiss
Real yinglet spear fighting probably involves a lot of running in circles and ducking in and out and stabbing.
After saying that last statement, I imagine Kass gave the “trainer” a bonk on the head with the handle and then stormed off. :P
