Glex'ians, my hommade alien species for IZ shenanigans, are from a plant mostly covered in swamp and bog. Their natural habitat wet and humid as they prowl for prey to consume.
Viden lives in space after leaving her home planet to pursue new knowledge and science to study, which leaves her spending time on station, spaceships and planets that are not the same environment she is evolved to prefer.
Luckily their are simple solutions to avoid getting too dry and suffer irritated skin that easily acts like it's allergic to everything when too dry.
Weekly, daily if she has the time, she enjoys a nice gel bath that'll make sure to humidify her skin for longer periods of time, so she can go about her business with no issue. It's like a bath of lotion you soak in to ensure it gets properly absorbed by the skin and then you are good to go for several days until next dip in the gel.
