Untitled Rabbit Commission
Finished commission for Lepus_Curpaeums featuring his character whom, after all I've heard, I'm nearly certain began life as an adoptable.
Grey on darker grey with very dark grey isn't the most striking palette I've had to work with but it's what we had and I did what I could with it. None of the scant amounts of art I've seen of the character featured an iris color, so I just went with a greyish, plausibly deniable color. Per the character itself, I asked if he has a name and was told the buyer had 'never given him a name, and never really thought to."
Okay then.
Well, me and my character-development obsessed brain will just be over here definitely not being triggered, while the rest of you gaze in wonder at how low one can wear their jeans before they're not actually legally wearing them at all, anymore.

psh the triggered can wonder, meanwhile the rest of us will obsess over the beautiful flowing rabbit ears
He looks fantastic. It is a character I came up with, I just never bothered with a name because I just usually look at the character and think "yeah that's him." If it helps I usually just default to my own username as his name which is just an overcomplicated way of saying "Rabbit." Thanks again dude.
Also don't know how you got his eyes to be almost exactly like my real life eye color, but bravo.

I would have thought for sure that one would want to name their original character but to each, their own.
The eyes were actually a more vibrant, lighter shade of blue on an earlier version of the upload (closer to the background color). I changed them to a greyer blue shortly before you faved it (and depending on how long it took you to fave it I guess it's possible you actually saw the first eyes). I tend to update my posted submissions several times in the 24 hour period after the first post, addressing minor mistakes that matter mostly to me.

The greyer blue you have on now is very close to my eyes. I actually missed the first eyes you posted.
This is very well done and I absolutely love it. Glad I got this over the other idea tbh. I can appreciate this much more.

Good news, then.
You're free to do whatever you wish with it, post it wherever.

An adorable bun! This art has had my complete attention for one minute and seventeen seconds. Better than the FA Submission average, feel proud Mister Whimsy.
Also draw more rabbits.

Dude, I sketched a lop putting a rat in a wrestling hold the other day, where the hell were you instead of salivating over that?
Yeah I'm not sure what the status on that is. As is, it does its job of showing Zane's finisher, but meanwhile it was getting faved by so many wrestle-creeps that I wasn't feeling too compelled to speed toward the finished product, since it's essentially just porn, whether I want it to be or not.
But still, it's a rabbit, inflicted pain on a rodent, you got yours.

And a blackhole of context, he is. But well, the kids seem to like him. Which is good, as I wasn't all that convinced I was doing my best work.
This makes me want to get something of my own rabbit from you. You get the face shape of your species very accurate making them very believable.
Well I appreciate you saying that, especially since I actually thought I didn't get the face looking particularly 'rabbity' this time. When I do that upturned angle on the head like that, I tend to default to the same basic shape for just about any species I'm working with. I guess with a rabbit, I make the cheeks a little wider than I would for say, a squirrel. Rabbits are one of those creatures that you assume you know what they look like until it's actually time to sit down and draw them and realize that after the ears, you have no idea.
