Ruvim's workday continues. This includes going for a meal, continuing to be Silan's guide through laboratory and helping others.
In here, I wanted to ask you about couple of things. First - should I publish the entries directly on this site? I saw at least several people doing that with releasing them as .txt files. Now, my episodes are published as PDFs and don't know if someone has problem with that. Second thing - should I publish longer entries? If so, how longer in comparison to the current ones; twice, thrice?
Any feedback is appreciated - with it, I can do better entries that you can read. Thanks and have great reast of your day.

I would personally recommend publishing whatever amount--at a time--that keeps you going. Consistency is incredibly difficult to nail down, at least in my experience, and if you can strike the right balance--that's a notch on the belt most don't ever hit.
I do pdfs, but I was just looking around this morning to see if maybe my low view-counts are due to releasing them as files instead of posting them into the descriptions of files (which seems to be the popular thing to do), but I think it might just be that people don't like to read.

Yeah, I have a problem with guiding things to the end. Not that ideas are completely abandoned - just I can't force myself to continue them. I'm having fun writing this little thing so far, but how long will it last? I'm not sure.
I'd go further and say that people don't like to read long entries. More people nowadays have problem with keeping their attention in one place, so they prefer something shorter. Not that I blame them - I'm just stating a fact.

Well a lot more readable. No point for hyphens for dialogue tags.
“I walked to the store,” Diane said.
“Where are we doing?” Diane said
“Where are we doing?” she asked.
That’s how you do it. Tag goes after the comma, ? Or a !. You don’t tag woth a period.
Your stories are very dialogue heavy right now so finding place for things to happen besides the talking is important . Getting that anthropomorphic description is important too. Building scene and providing character is essential.
As far as posts. It’s all preferences. .pdf you keep your formatting. .txt in utf formatting or on the description box you lose it. The separator of readers is versus their own laziness. How willing they are to hit the download button. People who actually care to read will hit it.
Story length. If the story is good length does matter. Long series are best in chunks though, but posting the combined story after preforms itself. A rule of ten pages is good. Average story on fa is about five pages is standard digestion size on fa.

I think I'll keep hyphens for now - additional separation is helpful for discerning quotes and narrating text. Plus, in place where I live, it's a common practice to use hyphens.
For tags, I just come with random things. I know they can be helpful with finding the creations, but honestly, I don't know what I should include in them.
Yeah, more people in present times tend to do things, so they don't have to work themselves. Like downloading standalone mods instead of installing mods yourself.
I got to the same conclusion. It's just people who can't focus their attention in one place for longer periods of time. Current social media is to blame, but that's just my opinion.

I like hyphens, use them a lot. Flow works better with them.
Glad you like them.
Current text stylization is something between English type of writing and something that I'm used to - which is starting with hyphens when writing new lines of dialogue and hyphens as separations for discerning dialogue text from narrative lines; not using quote marks to show character lines, but rather for marking actual quotes (sorry if this doesn't make sense - showing it would be a better option).

Oh, I forgot: I'm trying to find proper balance between dialogues, character descriptions and world building. Further episodes will show that, I think.
Well it is standard to English dialogue formatting. That’s how it works.
