Looks like someone needs the comfs!!! I'll be off work in an hour :3
This is one of those pieces that speaks a thousand words without saying a thing. Beautiful and melancholy, and the limited palette MAKES it. Fantastic work!
I had a dream like this. Was feeling sad like all the light around me, even the stars were fading. It made me sad to think the future was just going to be full of darkness. But I do my best to believe light will always be there. Its always faint, but it always is there inside you.
I wrote this after looking at that art because it stirred something up inside of me and I had to write it.
As I look up at the starry sky tonight, I can't help but feel a sense of overwhelming sadness and nostalgia. This one particular star reminds me of a dear friend who meant the world to me, but who is no longer here. I lost this friend and now I feel so alone, fighting a constant battle with my own thoughts and emotions.
It's hard to put into words just how much this friend meant to me. They were my confidant, my support system, and my partner in crime. We shared so many memories and experiences, and they were always there for me when I needed them the most.
But now, that friend is gone, and I'm left feeling lost and alone. I find myself constantly second-guessing myself and wondering if I could have done something differently. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle with my own mind, and it's taking its toll on me.
If you've ever experienced loss or loneliness, then you know how difficult it can be. It's hard to move on and find a new sense of normalcy when someone so important to you is no longer there. I've been trying to stay positive and find new ways to fill the void, but it's not easy.
I just want to say that if you're struggling with similar feelings, you're not alone. It's okay to feel sad, to grieve, and to take time to heal. We're all human, and we all experience loss and pain at some point in our lives.
So, tonight, as I gaze up at the stars and think back on my life with my dear friend, I'm filled with a mix of emotions. But I know that, somehow, I'll find a way to move forward and continue living my life.
