There's something interesting I found out. I was watching a documentary about secret ancient symbols and this has to do with the hand gesture the Star Trek character Spock makes. Leonard Nimoy was Jewish and the hand gesture is a symbol he borrowed from orthodox Judaism. The hand gesture is used as a blessing but what I found it is that originally it represents the cloven hoof of a ram. The hand gesture originally is associated with the zodiac sign of Aries! Interesting information.

Really? I knew he borrowed it or made it up from somewhere, but I also know a lot of folks couldn't do it physically. Celia Lovsky who played T'Pel couldn't do it so someone had to pose her hand like that and she would lift it into frame.
