Rossweisse sees this as a matter of duty, but Jori knows there's nothing wrong with being paid for doing your duty.

Jori has the right idea then. The worker is worthy of his (or her) hire, after all.

And it wouldn't hurt to have a slush fund for future possible bribes. Such as when a fast getaway is called for.

This also allows Rossweisse to receive the gold and not feel or be seen as accepting bribes.

A bit of minor court theatrics, but its the sort of thing that gets remembered later.

It's always nice to have someone looking out for your capital gains even if it is a sneaky little accountant who got booted out of heaven. And now that I think about it, we never did know how good an accountant Joir was. He was given the gate for embezzling but that only means he was caught. Me might have been very good at his job but just got greedy and or let his ego get the best of him thinking no one would notice a few less gold coins here and there.

At some point, I should finish drawing a model sheet of my own avatar just in case you figure out a place to put him.

I almost never draw myself, so I should do that anyway.



If theres ever a point at which Rossweisse needs to deal with a craftsman to have something made- I think I'd be the best choice.
Though I'd probably be more a Varangian in the story so far.

Only 2 this year compared to 3 (really 2 and a half) last year, but better than one page every 2 weeks. I really need to try harder to get more pages done this year.

Maybe plan on your days off. Also maybe you can get a little time when you are in Japan :D That sure inspired me to draw!
