№ 1 - Horus
Serudje hotep, Fret not my presence, mortal.
Protector of Kemet, he of Eye, Sky, and Hope, Horus has always been the type to stand up to justice, protecting the small, defending the meek. Even today, where his name is mostly forgotten amongst meager men, he still with the powers vested in him acts out small kind things, despite being limited by the lack of worshippers.
Since the destruction and dissolution of Kemetism as an institution and religion, our Horus is a vagabond, an egregore with powerful Heka - magics - but with no temple to house himself in. Indeed a wanderer, a being of and among the occult, he find himself today in the country of Sweden, a place where the domineering influence of Yaweh has been weakened by centuries of secularism, yet somehow new a population that still yearn for something more, something beyond. Perhaps that's what's keeping such an ancient god alive despite their supposed obsolesence under the judgement of Him?
We find Horus in a place where his existance can crackle like a small fire where a mere hundred-or-so western believers gather 'round, free from the new government the Homeland where worship of him is banned.
We find him in the land that should have been reserved for Thor and Odin. To give those few worshippers a sense of knowing, to keep the ancient fire of Kemet burning for yet another year.
A new era dawns, Horus. An era far diffrent from the time of pharaohs and god kings - yet here and now, of all places, you still remain doggedly refusing to let go. Well then, God of Hope, have your will to stay alongside mankind not been utterly crushed by thousands of years of noone remembering your name, then nothing will.
Well well - seems the reaaaaaly old ref of Horus got an update?
Am really glad how this turned out
