Phase 4: Field testing
"Now, let's test this again, shall we?" Queen Zyla chuckled at the hero before her as he struggled to fight against the influence of her own powers. Tiny sparks came from her bare fingers as they danced through the air.
"Try... what?" the male groaned as he rose from his knees. It took an impressive amount of that 'heroic willpower' trope to buck off some of her overbearingly powerful skills of persuasion but he managed it. There was something always so admirable about these future employees, or heroes as they called themselves, when they were capable of rising from the weight of submission.
"Hm? Oh, not talking to you." the vixen spoke without care towards the warrior, chuckling lowly as her wrist computer beeped. The newest product was on the scene.
ZD-V2-721 suddenly appeared from behind her new Owner.
Every inch of the formerly powerful villain's body had been enhanced. Nanomachines ran through her body instead of blood, laced webs of high density material crafted a series of muscles that put anything formed by nature alone to shame.her eyes glowed with the emotionless light of someone who had no thoughts except directives. The mindlessness of the newly crafted tool was front and center for the hero to see, something which filled him with a deep sensation of dread. How could the missing hypnotist, Dream Searcher, have been reduced to such a state? He'd heard she vanished a week ago, but to become something like this.
"Unit 721 engaging." the dragon spoke in a simulacrum of her owner's own tones, her way of speaking even taken away. Much like her body and will.
"No, you-" the hero tried to resist but his eyes were suddenly awash with the explosion of light and color that made up his entire world. Green and black decimated whatever foolish thoughts someone of his lower stature might attempt to find, chasing away will and resistance in equal measure. Nothing would stand against the enhanced might of 721's newly remade body.
Those wings, the light and hypnosis, were beyond nature. Beyond minds and fighting. They were perfected.
"Well done, puppet." the Queen chuckled as she stepped over, a finger beneath the feline male's glassy jaw. Her eyes met his for a moment, staring so deeply into his in a failed effort to find a thought. "There's nothing left to fight me, now."
"Affirmative, Queen Zyla." 721 bowed its head softly and thought of nothing. After all, drones do not think.
And Dream was a drone, forever.
A bit late but here's part 4! there's an alt coming tomorrow and a story to be posted shortly! Enjoy!
