Got inspired to write a Halloween horror parody based on 'The Hidden World of the House Hippo', produced by Concerned Children’s Advertisers, 1999. Or, as you Canadians know it as 'The North American House Hippo.' Like, who didn't wish a house hippo was real? I'd totally feed these things, except maybe the misunderstood violent ones in my story. But still, they're cute! So of course, I had to make a self-insert sort of hippo thing with them. Thus, have a house hippo. And if you have no idea what these are, seriously, look it up on Youtube. They're amazing!
Normally I don't use photo manipulations and pay to use authentic stock photos (I make my own, freebies, you get the idea). But here's an exception. Hippo stock courtesy of Passakorn Umpornmaha, Shutterstock. Rest, moi. Socks from my sister-in-law. Because, I needed something a little umm... yeah... Took a photo of some peanut butter on toast, and feet. Since, I have no survival instincts and would feed these.

I was literally talking about the North American House Hippo (and the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus) with coworkers yesterday morning. Also I love the socks!
