Among all Absols of the world, four of them will be randomly chosen by fate to be one of the four "Absolute Disasters." The Absolute Disasters are not normal Absols; they are Mythical Pokemon, and each one of them has vastly different powers. The world will always have one of each of them, and when one of them dies, another will be born in their place soon after.
What really makes these Absols so special is their disaster abilities. While normal Absols can simply sense natural disasters, the Absolute Disasters can actually cause them, each of the four having a connection to a different category of natural disasters and phenomena. The Absolute Disasters are not the cause of most natural disasters that happen in the world, but they do possess the ability to create them in relatively short time (anywhere from a few hours to a few days depending on the magnitude).
Unfortunately, this disaster ability is extremely difficult to control, meaning untrained Absolute Disasters will accidentally cause a natural disaster wherever they are in random intervals of time. The reason for this dials back to how their abilities work in the first place: their aura. While all Absols possess an aura that allows them to sense natural disasters, the Absolute Disasters' aura is exponentially stronger, giving them the ability to cause different natural disasters and phenomena based on their given category. However, because their aura is so powerful, it needs to be released regularly or sub-regularly, otherwise it will build up. And when it builds up too much, it eventually forces its way out. A natural disaster will only occur if a large-enough portion of aura is released, and since aura forcing its way out is obviously a large portion, it will consequently cause a natural disaster.
This is why untrained Absolute Disasters will accidentally cause a natural disaster at random times: because they have little or no control over when they release and build up their aura. But once they have learned to control their aura properly, they will eventually be able release their aura subconsciously during all hours of the day, even when they are asleep. And as long as they do this, they will never cause a natural disaster again, unless they do it on purpose.
Left to right, the four Absolute Disasters are: Storm, Heat, Earth, & Plague. (Which design is your favorite? Mine is Storm.)
Once I learned how to trace an image in Pixilart, I had to trace Nintendo's Absol image and make these four Absols I've been thinking about for a little while. I'm not sure of all of the details yet, but they are going be a part of a story of mine in the far future. Three of them will probably be supporting or side characters, but one of them will undoubtedly be the main character.
Absol belongs to Nintendo. Concept of Absolute Disasters belongs to me.
