NOTE: I am currently using Patreon primarily as a tip jar. If this is not your preference, I will not begrudge you leaving or abstaining and I thank everyone for any support you may have given. I will no longer be offering mentorships or tutoring either. I will still do redlining and paintovers on request for Patrons. Additionally, Patrons will still be eligible for discounts on YCHs and adopts. 10% off for T1, 20% off for T2, and 30% off for T3.

Don't ask me why I randomly decided to go so hard on an arse tutorial of all things (pun absolutely intended fite me). I don't heckin know. Maybe I just really needed a break from work and I had butts on the brain. :P Well, that and I wanted an excuse to practice some line art and cell shading. I am hoping to cultivate a good graphic novel style and it does NOT come naturally so there's really no way forward except practice. And here it is. Bask in the glory of my horrible, noobile line art and cell shading.
I absolutely welcome any pointers or resources pertaining to the topic of line art and cell shading. By all means, bring it. I barely have any idea WTF I'm doing. I swear, it was like pulling teeth. Painting this was harder than the usual stuff I put out. I did have fun though and I do feel like I've improved a bit, especially towards the end of this ridiculous trilogy. I'm finally starting to get the concepts of line weight and shape language into my thick skull... somewhat... so there's that at least.
Anyhow, enjoy.

I had 4 years of calc. I noticed it. But what I loved best is Ass Phrenology
You don't notice how the tail is connected till it's connected wrong.
Basically yeah, it's one of those things that if it's noticed it was done wrong.
My appreciation for the the curvaceous female form is being sorely pressed by my fascination with worldbuilding and verisimilitude therein. My love of puns is on the sidelines with popcorn.
This is also a good reference for your fursona, ima draw yuuuuuuu!!!
Hah, this was long needed. I might have to save this to my computer for future reference in case I forgot where this is.
I love these comic/tutorials. They need to be a genre unto themselves.
:D It was fun to do too. I wish I had the time because I'd happily do more.
I see your butt peaches and raise you this aubergine: https://www.hornoxe.com/wp-content/.....ump889_108.jpg Safe for the pan, I guess)
I may not be an artist, but your line work and shading look good to me. I assumed it was a style you were comfortable with just from looking at it.
Not sure where muffin came from, but it works, maybe.. lol
Where did you get the insipration for her?

It's basically an idealized version of myself + tail, fur, and round glasses instead of the boring rectangular ones I have.
Nothing wrong with butts. They can be a beautiful thing!
I've been focusing on them myself; often enhancing some on my characters. I still hope to get into 3D. I've been getting really slow on hand drawing and coloring.
I think it's time to go 3D and maybe even animate some butts.
I do love the choice of black/ dark gray against the brown and white fur. Very classy.

Butts aren't generally my fave body part (that's mostly back sides), but even I cannot say no to a good-looking butt.
Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks for the tutorial.
All of this... and then the fruit in the last panel.... I'm dying.... Send help! (MOAR BUTTS)

Hurt me mommy!

Late to this party, but I thoroughly enjoy all the little details you put in here. The book titles are hilarious and you have left no doubt that this is about BUTTS.
And I like big butts and I cannot lie, so I'm in
