Biography: Ginevra is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day after Mairsile & Lamai were born, making her part of the 2nd line of 1/2 mermaids born into the family. Like so many of her siblings, Ginevra was ever present whenever her father came back with stories to tell of his travels in different realms, and he often had plenty to tell. Ginevra at one point, after listening to so many of her father's tales, decided that she wanted to be an adventurer like he is & fight off evil. She was one of the few who made her mind up instantly, and so did some research before hand, reading about the Mage Fighters of Jugdral. While she decided that she wanted to be one herself, there was a problem: Mage Fighters of Jugdral were 2nd-tier classes in that region. To that end, Ginevra decided to become one anyway, but treat it as a basic class rather than a 2nd-tier class. This worked out in Ginevra's favor as she studied swordplay & magic, alternating between the two as often as necessary. Ginevra even spent some time in the forge to create her own personal sword once she got the hold of fighting with the blade in question. Ginevra was able to make her blade without incident, and when she took it to her father for testing, the sword passed both the strength & sharpness tests with flying colors, and on her first try, too. And once her training was deemed complete, she was permitted to accompany her father & her other Fire Emblem themed sisters to the land of Gaia, settling in the great castle upon arrival, even signing up to be a part of its army. But before leaving, Ginevra asked Eurydice why she isn't coming, who reveals that Orpheus is not well enough to head out yet, wanting her pegasus to be in top condition before seeing action. The reason was wholesomely accepted when Ginevra explained the reason as to why Eurydice didn't accompany the party right away. Nevertheless, Ginevra became one of the army's top soldiers, earning her admiration for her charm & sense of humor. But on one training day, Gaia Castle came under siege from the Supreme Forces, with one massive invasion force lead personally by the Supreme Archduke. Ginevra fought back against the forces, but like her sisters & father, she was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of monsters that eventually destroyed the Gaia Army in no time. With no other options, Ginevra was forced to fall back with her sisters & father, though she helped the former secure the Fire Emblems of Gaia while leaving red herrings behind. When Gaia Castle was overtaken, Ginevra contemplated on what just happened, but it didn't last long as her father & step-mothers all proposed the formation of the Gaia Alliance to replace the army, and take Gaia back. Ginevra was quick to sign up, becoming a formidable foe in the alliance, swearing to not rest until light shined on all of Gaia again, and even then, she vows to lend her blade & magic to any cause necessary when asked. As is to be expected from those in Juni's family, Ginevra is a very friendly individual, exhibiting the same exact kind & caring nature seen among so many among the family. She's also a playful sort & has proven time & time again that she's a lot of fun to hang around, even displaying a good sense of humor. She has proven to take old jokes & make them sound funny in a way that would make King Kai himself jealous. However, Ginevra is also a fairly innocent individual, sometimes not knowing when she's standing in quicksand for instance. Ginevra's also a good cook & loves to show her skills off when possible, and loves to clear her mind with a stroll through forests & jungles, not even caring if they're quicksand hotspots at the moment. The sight of Forest Fires makes Ginevra saddened, but she knows that they have to happen if forests are to remain healthy, yet such knowledge barely dulls the pain. However, what can set Ginevra off is bad cooking. In fact, if it doesn't taste good, she won't eat it. She also doesn't enjoy the oddities of Folk "Food" since much of it is seen as stuff people wouldn't usually dare put in their mouths. This puts her at odds with Celine's retainer Chloe every now & then, which can be seen in their support conversations. Like a handful of her sisters, Ginevra is a proven absolute mudlark. She will never hesitate to get into quicksand & sink in it the moment she locates signs of a pit. Never misses an episode of Sailor Moon.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Ginevra is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms in fresh, or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Ginevra strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. In the water, Ginevra enjoys the same +10 increase to her avoid/dodge, and the doubling of movement that her other 1/2 mermaid siblings enjoy while beneath the waves. Ginevra begins the party as a Mage Fighter, a class that with both weaponry, and magic. In her case: Swords & Anima. It may seem like Ginevra's a pre-promote, but her version is different as her version is treated as a basic class & so is capable of promoting into different classes. As far as stats go, her Strength & Magic shine the best, and they have great growth rates to them. The same is also with her Skill, Speed, and Luck. Although her Defense & Resistance are 2 points lower than her Strength & Magic, they are nonetheless serviceable, enabling her to tank a good number of hits easily. Plus, the growth in those areas ensure that it stays this way. Like all magic units, Ginevra is not impeded by sand & can move across it like normal terrain, with the exception of quicksand; which she will sink into. Promotion wise, Ginevra can become a Sage Fighter & add Light Magic & Staves to her arsenal, or she can become a Warrior Wizard & add Axes to her attack options instead. Due to how her class works, Ginevra has her weapons in one inventory, and her magic in another. She begins with the following weapons, magic, and skill.
Maguindanao Kris: Ginevra's personal weapon. Ginevra made this weapon herself, and it's lethality is well suited for battle. This blade is so light, it acts as a brave weapon, allowing Ginevra to strike twice if she initiates an attack. Although it doesn't act as a killer weapon, it still has a good chance to land a critical hit. Being a personal weapon, it cannot break.
Ladyblade: A mighty sword that only women can wield. Deals effective damage to Barbarian units. Has 25 uses.
Slim Sword: A lightweight sword favored by female fighters. It has a slightly improved chance to land a critical hit. Has 35 uses.
Fire: Standard Fire Magic.
Frost: Standard Ice Magic.
Thunder: Standard Thunder Magic.
Wind: Standard Wind Magic. Deals effective damage to fliers.
Forest Serendipity: The personal skill of Ginevra. When attacking on a forest tile, Ginevra has an increased boost to her Defense & Resistance & gains immunity to certain ailments such as sleep, berserk, petrification, paralysis, and confusion. Stat drops are also rendered ineffective. However, it doesn't protect against poisoning & burns.
Strength +2: Grants +2 to Strength.
Magic +2: Grants +2 to Magic.
Crushing Blow: Combat Art that uses 4SP to use. The user delivers a heavy hitting blow from a sword or axe that deals 2x the normal attack damage. It also deals bonus damage to armored units.
Flame Wall: Magic Art that costs 6MP & 3SP to use. This conjures a wall of fire that burns all it touches. It even hits both enemies who're in a pair up. After use, the tiles it hits are alight with fire.
Ice Rock: Magic Art that costs 8MP & 5SP to use. This summons a big boulder of ice that hovers to the target & falls down onto them, dealing heavy ice damage. If used while in snowy terrain, the damage dealt doubles.
Lightning Orb: Magic Art that costs 7MP & 3SP to use. This lets loose a ball of lightning that leaves the target electrified upon being hit for 5 phases. For fliers, the damage is even worse.
Fire Emblem: Nintendo, Intelligent Systems
