Here we have some of the latest armor for my Bolt Action german force and also to display some color schemes for the Iron Order and Iron Covenant as well as some lore for some of the vehicles that are going to be used as well. Here we have a Panther tank, a Panzer 3 Ausf M and a 234/2 also known as the Puma armored car, I also just finished working on a sdkfz 222 scout car.
I hope everyone likes the miniatures^^ Now onto the Magna-Verse lore...
Displayed above are three of the armored fighting vehicles that so far are known to be in the arsenal of the Iron Order and by extension the Iron Covenant, in terms of design Magnum decided to re-create the german machines of the Second Great War in Terra's history. However the looks are deceiving as these machines are full on modern and advanced machines that are more then a match for anything on Terra as they are fitted with powerful ammunition, can be sealed in a vacuum and the armor is made up of very advanced composites.
1. Panther: The first in the line up is the chosen main tank for Magnum's forces which appearance-wise is based on the Panther Ausf G with it's main and secondary weapons being the same caliber as it was in the designs previous life, however it has been changed significantly where maintenance isn't a hassle, for example changing the transmission doesn't require taking the turret off and then dragging it through the tank itself, instead the under panels can be simply undone and then it can be quickly switched out as an example. The camouflage displayed on the Panther was originally the chosen default color for all the armor vehicles which was white with the idea in that repainting the vehicles for arctic climates wouldn't be needed but the idea was scrapped and a new default color was chosen instead.
2. Lynx: Based on the Panzer 3, the Lynx is actually a light tank in the arsenal and is either fielded in the M, N or flame tank variants but by far the one with M look is the most common with armor skits also being added to the tank by default for added protection. The Lynx fills in the role of a tank needed for urban warfare where it's smaller size can allow it to maneuver city streets and other forms of enclosed spaces where the Panther would likely have some difficulty with the Stug 3 and the Stuh 42 variants also being produced. Despite being armed with a 5cm main gun, this was again done for short range engagements and for urban combat to help the Lynx maintain a small profile and thus can be set up in ambush positions and also help it fit in confined spaces of buildings and for easier transport with the main gun able to punch through the main battle tanks on Terra with some ease even at medium to long range. In terms of the displayed camouflage it is an urban pattern which uses primarily light and dark grey with a little red mixed in in some areas.
3. Armored Cars: While there is only one armored car displayed it is known that Magnum plans to not only introduce the 234 line of armored cars to the more current battlefields but also the kfz 13 and more notably the sdkfz 222 and by extension the 251 half-track and all of it's variants. The armored car displayed visually resembles the 234/2 but all four variants of the 234 are present with a fifth known as the 234/5 having also been created which bares resemblance to the 234/2 but is instead a flamethrower version and is used to help clear enemy positions in hard cover as well as by assault and engineering units. The color scheme displayed by the armored car is the default color that Magnum went with when it came to the armored vehicles, which is a grey-ish blue color.
I hope everyone likes the lore as well and have a good one^^
