Hiya everyone, I decided to post what I have for my personal Space Marine Chapter, the Keepers of Sanctity which are a successor Dark Angels Chapter, I hope everyone likes them and finds them interesting, also apologies in advance as there are a ton of spelling errors in the bio and it's a few years old, plus I don't feel like revising it at the moment^^;
History: The Keepers of Sanctity are a Dark Angel successor chapter, most of their records are lost and their founding is unknown, the only thing that is known about the chapters early history is that their founder was a Dark Angel supreme grand master by the name of Ev'ok who is infamous for taking action against Craftworld Iyanden by destroying a large number of their contructs and ending a campaign against the Imperium. At somepoint the chapter was founded with it's monistary being placed on the medieval ice world of Tsar where the chapter rules like a noble caste of knights and from where they launch their crusades.
While most of the ancient records are lost, the crusading chapter has been forging a great modern legacy as they destroy ork invasions, erradicate tendrals from hive fleets and ruin ploys from the eldar. The chapter being a part of the Unforgiven actively hunts down the Fallen like it's parent and brother chapters and maintains it's own inner circle, thus contributing to it's secretive and at times grievous nature and at times has put them at odds with other orginisations of the Imperium, most notably the Inqusition where an Inquisitor went missing during a mission, the chapters offical report was that the inqusitor was caught in the cross fire, however in actuality the inquisitor discovered the Fallen and their ties to the Dark Angels and the Keepers of Sanctity quickly put the inquisitor down along with their bodygaurds.
But the chapters greatest struggle was when an ork waaagh! hit their home system, the ork forces had hit almost all the planets at once with only Tsar not being assailed, forcing the chapter to quickly mobilize and reinforce the other worlds. The first was the systems hive world which had been hit with a force of about half a million orks and led by a painboss which was swiftly put down thanks to obital bombardment and armor tactics, the next was a mining desert planet that had been reinforced with greater numbers, but the last two worlds would prove to be the toughest, as the first two worlds were easily reclaimed, the chapter forces divided into two crusade fleets and each went to the remaining worlds, a forge world and another hive world.
BATTLE OF XAVIOUS
The hive world of Xavious by this point was completely engulfed by battle, even with the Keepers making planetfall and making quick progress, the orks pressed their savage attacks, forcing the chapter to create defensive positions with sentry guns and wrecked vehicles and in the confines of the hive the orks were even more hazardous due to the confined spaces. As a result the astartes orginised groups of people from both citizen and gang to help fend off the greenskins alongside the planetary defense forces and the chapter even resorted to demolishing hive cities with constant orbital bombardments and using vindicators to tear out the foundations. The chapters grand master librarian Pro'vix led a united front against the hordes as they destroyed ork settlement after settelement, but the last was a converted hive city and all the marines could do was pumble away at the charging mobs as force fields protected it and the ships were no longer capable of barbardment due to lack of ammunition.
BATTLE OF THE FORGE
The force sent to the forge world fared worse, as the orks had set up aerial defenses and mighty walkers rampaged across the surface, the chapters armored vehicles proved inefficient as they couldn't move that well in the ruins of the forge world, thus turrets and devastators were used more extensivly, it was here the meks were able to convert fallen titans and other Imperial vehicles. Forcing the current supreme grand master Mes'phor to take to the field and to lead the entire first company to war. The battle was a case of instense close range and urban warfare much like on Xavious with the added hazards of the forge world, this would lead to Mes'phor ordering the use of the most prized vehicles of the entire chapter, a handfull of whirlwind scorpius tanks and the sole super-heavy fellblade tank known as the Crusader of the Betrayed, this risky action not only put some of their most potent equipment at risk, but it also put relics from the Dark Angels at risk as these machines bared their history of the Great Crusade and were entrusted to the Keepers by the Dark Angels themselves. But the risk proved it's reward as the ork battlements were obliterated and the massive walkers were toppled over by the fellblades guns.
An ork mekboss stomped towards Mes'phor and the two engauged in combat with the Keeper emerging victorious, though barely surviving the ordeal as cyborks would charge into the ensuing battle but they were slain to an ork. Eventually all of the orks would be slain and both the Mechanicus and the remaining astartes forces would reinforce their brothers on Xavious.
THE DECAPITATING BLOW
As reinforcements drew near an ork fleet appeared over the world of Xavious, the astartes and skitarii quickly boarded the orks vessels and one-by-one began crippling them before retreating so that the void ships can finish them off. The last ship was an ork battlecruiser, but before it could be boarded the ship instantly moved at great speed, raming into two strike cruisers before crashing onto the hive world itself as the strike cruisers tumbled upon re-entry and exploded upon crashing onto the worlds surface. The remaining numbers of the chapter made planetfall alongside those of the Adeptus Mechanicus and the titan legions that could fight. The astartes of the Keepers were now fueled by a great rage at the loss of so many battle brothers and two of their grand cruisers, but the massive ork ship was quickly changed into a massive base as the orks brought forth swarms of aircraft, orkoid tanks, walkers and so much more. But now the forces of the Imperium surrouded the orks and their last base of operations, the Imperials were slowly grinding their way towards the enemy stronghold but now the Keepers were in their element, as they brought their great armored vehicles to bare and were quickly destroying the ramshackle greenskin machines and defenses. It was then the ork ship was assailed as the great titans blasted holes into the ships armor and the combined might of the Emperors forces rushed in.
The inside of the ork ship was cavernous and looked to be more of a large ork landing craft(though lacked the landing gear) and was mostly used for vehicles and personel, this meant that the loyalist armor was able to be used realitivly effectively and soon after a great battle against an ork warlord and a mob of powetful meganobz the orks were exterminated, followed by a purging campaign in which many areas were burned on the stricken worlds to ensure that the orks wouldn't take root.
In the aftermath the chapter had been reduced to just under half it's full strength with all companies taken losses and while the relic vehicles were unharmed, most of the modern vehicles were lost and with the loss of two strike cruisers and a handful of auxillery naval ships the chapter fleet suffered a critical blow. The Adeptus Mechanicus were extremely grateful for the chapters aid and immediantly set to work on replacing the lost strike cruisers as the Imperial Navy and Guard came to patrol and reinforce the system as the Keepers of Sanctity mourned their dead and prepared to make way for another if smaller crusade with a smaller force.
THE CRUSADE AGAINST THE GREEN TIDE
"For Ten Thousand Years, the Astartes have been the Emperor's sacred sword and shield, we have trampled the rebel, destroyed the heretic and slain the xeno. The most dire threats are the bands of Eldar, the foul bands of Traitors, but above all the greenskins and their myriad numbers are the worst threat. They have been a blight across the Imperium's history and as time unveils itself they will continue to be unless we obliterate them! We are the sons of the Lion, the first primarch to ever live, our ancestors were the first legion to cross Terra and the stars themselves and to bring war to the galaxy! Many of our brothers lay dead in the line of duty and honor, the greenskins shall pay the toll in blood, we will not stop until retribution is devilvered! We will still deal with the other threats that the wider Imperium faces, but the orks must be dealt with! Onto crusade my brothers!" -Grand Master Librarian Pro'vix after the Crusade of Reclamation
The orks have become the chapters natural enemy, and has since launched numerous attacks against them or reinforced other Imperial forces.
THE GREAT RIFT COMES
By the time of Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade the chapter was back at full strength and after numerous crusades against the orks aswell as other forces in the galaxy the chapter had caught word of a system that was just struck by a massive ork construct, a desert death world that bore no name of it's own but was in range of numerous Imperial worlds, a strike force was sent in to bring a swift end to the ork invaders. When the Keepers arrived on the world they did indeed find an ork vessel, but it wasn't a craft capable of landing on a planets surface and it was completely destroyed. The marines would quickly come under fire by a hated foe, chaos space marines, these ones being of the Iron Warriors traitor legion, this would result in great reinforcements from Tsar in the form of one-third of the total chapter, including elements from the 1st and second companies. Weeks of brutal warfare would run across the planets surface as the Iron Warriors brought down their fury and the Keepers sought to slay their ancient foe. At the height of the brutal crusade the Keepers would locate the base of operations, a massive fortress that was greatly reinforced.
After a therough reconnaissance, the Keepers would request more reinforcements, sending all the collected data along with the request of aid. The rest of the chapter within days arrived in near orbit, the mighty voidships deployed their ground forces and they made ready for bombardment. The armor of the Keepers would clash with the twisted hulls of the Iron Warriors, those of the 1st company would square off with the ruthless chaos terminators, the 2nd company dueled with the areial daemon engines and decimating the lines of infantry. After a grinding battle the last of the traitors were slain, but that wasn't the end of the battle, explosive charges exploded over the fortress and miles around, killing marines and wrecking numerous vehicles. Within seconds a powerful Iron Warrior fleet exited the Warp and deployed drop pods and thunderhawks down to the planets surface, the shock hadn't worn off as the traitors engauged, all the relic vehicles were quickly moved to the loyalists new lines as they made haste to battle the foe.
"Our ancient enemy readies to bring down their guillotine my brothers, if we are to die here it'll be in the name of the Emperor and of the Lion. Our chapter seeks out it's foes to stake our faith against the tides of doubt, none shall find us wanting in this glorious battle. For the Lion!" -Supreme Grand Master Mes'phor
The traitors made forth with a grinding advance, their ancient tanks firing madly as they approach, but the Keepers welcomed the attackers with return fire and stood their ground, the battle further raged as now both ground and void were filled with weapons fire. Traitor forces tried boarding action after boarding action, only to be destroyed by the Lion's Chosen and the stationed tactical marines from the reserve companies. Soon more daemon engines roared and more twisted forms emerged in the form of obliterators and mutilators, but the Keepers kept their defense up as sentry guns made planetfall and resupply crates found their way into loyalist hands. Those of the second company made haste as they moved around at great speed without stopping, decimating enemy armor and infantry and the mighty armor of the chapter laid punishing blows.
But then the librarians felt the warp itself crack open and the Great Rift had formed. The Iron Warriors who had the upper hand for some reason decided to flee, making them easy targets but most of them would return to the void where the twisted ships would enter the rift. The Keepers didn't understand it, the Iron Warriors weren't known for retreating for no real reason, none the less they proceeded to demolish the remains of the fortress, followed by a great exterminatus before returning to Tsar.
THE RETURN OF GUILLIMAN
After returning to Tsar the Keepers began to take into account the new found chaos within the Imperium, with the Galaxy split in two and now multiple incursions were taking place, the chapter would need a plan and fast or risk another invasion of the home system. But with the rift came Guilliman, a primarch from when the Imperium was young, the Keepers welcomed the son of the Emperor himself with open arms for if he had returned it meant he could bring aid in helping the chapter secure it's crusades. Help came in the form of the new primaris marines which stunned the chapter, but their wargear was amazing and they were more then eager to fight.
"The primarch of the Ultramarines brings you here to Tsar, to our fortress-monestary, your grey ceremite searching for it's colors, your eagerness for battle and to prove yourselves alongside such wargear is impressive. We are the Keepers of Sanctity, descendants of the Dark Angels and the Lion and our crusades have brought us against many adversaries. I, Supreme Grand Master Mes'phor, grant acceptance for you to join our ranks, but you must take our trials first." -Supreme Grand Master Mes'phor addressing the new primaris astartes
Since their induction the primaris marines have proven their effectiveness time and again, with the mighty hellblasters being of great favor, Mes'phor wonders how the primaris marines will react as they climb the ranks to discover the Fallen.
The chapter had also inquired with the Ultramarines primarch to see if any whirlwinds were available so that their relics would stop being put in harms way along with restocks of a handful of land raiders if it was possible. Guilliman was able to secure newly made whirlwinds and a handfull of land raiders to reinforce the Keepers armory and another ground vehicle was also delivered, a modified stormblade for astarte use.
The chapter would put all of these to use in both the Plague Wars and the Indomitus Crusade. The Indomitus Crusade was a century long crusade that echoed the Great Crusade as the Imperium retook or destroyed worlds that could never be reclaimed, the Keepers had created or updated their existing strategies to incorperate the new marines and wargear as they fought alongside the other Imperial forces.
THE PLAGUE WARS
The Keepers would also take part in the Plague Wars to help defeat the forces of Nurgle and to honor Guilliman's aid to the chapter.
The chapter in it's entirety was launched to the realm of Ultramar, the Keepers openly engauged the ancient Death Gaurd, seeking to expunge them from existance. The loyal armor smashed against the rusted and pitted tanks of the 14th, the crusading chapter would reinforce multiple worlds before eradicating all the influence of the Plague God from those and a few afterwords.
The last engaugment for the chapter during the campaign took place on an agri world, the forces of daemons, nurglite chaos marines, cultists and zombies came in force as unlike the previous worlds here they were deeply entrenched. Even with the Astra Militaram, Navy and a full company from the Ultramarines aiding the sons of the Lion, the campaign resulted in an attritious seige that would last for months as both sides clashed in brutal warfare, the unyeilding force of Nurgle and the unrelenting nature of the Keepers gave displays of greatness and heroic deeds of glory, the Keepers had finally found a great opponent, one to truely test their tenacity.
The last battle was against a warped landscape where the cults had opened a portal to Nurgle's realm, the daemons poured forth as they eyed the clad in black marines. The Keepers and their allies launched a full-scale assault, the ground turned marsh hid beasts as flies reigned from the sky, the 2nd company strafing the ground as the 1st defeated the heavier abominations, masters dueled heralds in single combat, the sons of the Lion undaunted by the odds were cutting a rotten heart from the husk as they made their way to the portal. From this gate a great unclean one emerged, ready to try to claim the chapter as it's own court.
Supreme Grand Master Mes'phor gave the order for heavy fire to strike the monsters hide, land raiders unleashed their lascannons, hellblasters and aggressors released their great weapons and the 2nd company and all their might in plasma and shells blew into the greater daemon until it was nearly torn apart and with the strike of his mighty hammer Rorr'ck banished the beast and the portal closed, cutting off the daemons from their domain. By battles end the Keepers had suffered great losses and the world was ultimately lost and no longer reclaimable, so exterminataus was delivered as a result.
Despite the losses the Keepers celebrated the victory, for if the battle hadn't taken place it was likely the planet would become a daemon world and would become unassailable, this claim is correct as the Inquisition has bared witnesses to such events. The Plague Wars would come to an end soon afterward and the chapter would leave to go back to Tsar to prepare for it's next crusade.
Training: When an aspirant is selected they must make their rite of passage by going into the harsh enviroment of Tsar and to hunt the apex of the planet called Co'nox(or trolls by the planets populace). The trial is that while surviving the elements the aspirant must slay the beast with only his wits and his small pool of tools which includes a sword and a knife, should the aspirant be victorious he must remove the beasts head and bring it back. The aspirant then must make a necklace out of the creatures skull, once this is done the aspirant then becomes a neophyte.
Orginisation: Like the Dark Angels and the other Unforgiven chapters the Keepers of Sanctity have their own versions of the Deathwing and Ravenwing with some differences in the rank structure and maintain their own Inner Circle. However there are some key differences, for example the most senior-techmarine is simply called the Master of the Forge rather then Master of the Rock. Also the chapters interrogator chaplins don't seek out to make the Fallen repeant, like rest of their brothers, they simply kill them.
When the primaris space marines were introduced, a new Codex was brought forward introducing a somewhat new structure and while most of the changes were self explanitory the changes made to the 10th company meant doubling it's size due to the additional 103 marines needed to make it function and while the Vanguard were extremly effective it became confusing as another master would need to be selected. To avoid any clashes within the chapter, Mes'phor created an 11th company known as the Hunting Shadows and the new 103 marines were moved to that company, this also meant that Severous who was formally a member of the Wings of the Aquila became the 11th Master of the chapter and he underwent voluntarily the process to become a primaris marine.
What added more to the confusion was that vanguard units were 'confined' to the 10th but could be allocated in full heraldry to any company which only added further to the issue, Pro'vix offically decreed that vanguard units can be assigned to a company or the squad may petition a particular Master to join their company but once this was done they were permanently part of that company, given that the 11th is the primaris equivilent of the 10th if their is a surplus then those marines would plug the gaps when needed.

Armory: The armory of the Keepers of Sanctity includes the fellblade super-heavy tank known as the Crusader of the Betrayed and three relic whirlwind scorpius artillery tanks known as Lion's Reach, Golden Paw and The Rocks Blow. The chapter is known for favoring the mk III iron power armor and will go to great lengths to secure more suits of this type of armor as it favors their approach to war.
After the crusade to rid their home system of the orks, the armory of the chapter has also taken a hit. The pool as already stated now lacks in whirlwinds and most land raiders were also lost to the mighty walkers or tankbustas the orks had used, to help replace the lost in fire power, the armorium has been creating predator tanks to fill in the gaps as almost all remaining land raiders were placed into the first company with only the three battle companies maintaing a single land raider of it's own for it's captain and elite squads, due to this action the chapter now has almost as many predator tanks as it does rhinos and more marines have to be trained to act as crews for these fearsome machines. This has also lead to changes in how the chapter aporoaches war to a degree, as while tanks would never be assaigned to the 2nd and 10th companies, predator tanks can be seen baring the iconography of all the others, for whenever a rhino or two moves to take part in war a predator tank will follow suite.
Combat Doctrine: The Keepers of Sanctity is flexible in warfare like their parent chapter, though they are known to use their predator tanks and rhinos to great effect, making them effective in armored warfare. This being said, those who are part of the 2nd company focus on lightning warfare and learn fire patterns, movements and so on in which to learn and adapt from, making them even more deadly. As a result, the combined arms of both ends make the Keepers formidable as those who escape the unrelenting armor now have to deal with the swift knife edge that the Wings of the Aquila bring to bare. The chapter offers no mercy as it goes to battle, it's battle brothers march as their mighty boots stomp, bolters fire in displays of glorious firepower, the Keepers are known for fiercly crushing the enemy as they take and hold objectives.
With the introduction of the primaris this greatly enhanced what the chapter was able to acheive but one type of primaris brought confusion and that was the Intercessor squads, as they lacked the flexible nature of the tactical, assault or devastator marines and the other types of primaris found suitible roles quickly, it wasn't until simulated battles were conducted to figure out just how to deploy them and for the Keepers they learned that for them personally they were best used in a supporting role. When equipped with auto bolt rifle Intercessor squads act as close quarters fire support that can effectivly counter swarms, those equipped with standard bolt rifle act as mid-range marksmen and those with stalker rifle act as makeshift snipers to take out key personel, though this is only done if more dedicated sniper units are unavailible or should the situation call for it on the spot, so while not as flexible per se the Intercessor forces can furfill a rather niche form of specialization all their own but can never give the true flexibilty of a tactical squad, reguardless they are always deployed with a replusor to help give them some extra punch.
Gene-Seed: The gene-seed is of altered stock from the Dark Angels chapter, though they suffer from a mutated catalepsean node, resulting in awkward sleep patterns.
Librarians: The lirbrarians of the Keepers are among the most terrifying of all astartes under the Imperiums banner, for they bring to bare great fire from their hands and call forth great displays of telekenetic and telepathic might. The great librarians respresent their primarch in how much fury yet tactical awareness he had and they are of a great force to be reckon with as they take to the field with powerful force weapons and often lead campaigns of crusade alongside the champions of the chapter.
Homeworld: The chapter homeworld is the medieval ice world of Tsar, life on the planet is gripping with peril as human settlements are built into the dense ice or inside great caverns. The fortress-monestary is made out of one of the great mountains of the world, robed figures carved into the rock face, great towers of stone and mighty fortifications. Even at a distance it's a mighty sight and to the inhabitants of the world it's one of awe and inspiration as poems and art are made to commemorate their knights and lords. Given the signifigance, many who grow up hearing the tales of the Keepers(some actually given to them by the chapter itself) aspire to try to join them and train for years. When the mighty thunderhawks with their recruiters come, the apprentences board and are taken to be tested. Occasionally the Keepers will patrol the settlements to continue to aspire the populace and for them to be aware the chapter is always watching.
Fortress-Monestary: Known as the Cold Errant, this fortress-monestary is as cold as it has a mysterious allure to it. The outside bares hooded statues, carved out of the mountain itself as stone towers hail towards the sky and mighty emplacements stand ready. At the top rests the command keep, linked to the chapters reclusiam and librarium, under these is the forge, armory, hangers and launch bays and under these are the chambers for the marines, the apothecarian and the great hall. But underneith all of this is refered to as The Hallows, these great caverns are dimly lit, here is where the interrogator chaplins toture their captives to learn of the Fallen, it is also here where the chapters Circle gathers for it's meetings as servo skulls and servitors patrol the darkness of the medieval-inspired architecture. There is a location just outside the mountain known as the Domain of the Dead, it is the final resting place of those who die in battle and is a carefully laid out crypt as stone coffins with gold inlay that displays the name, rank, company and squad of the occupant.
Deathwatch service: When a Keeper is inducted into the Deathwatch, he must take a vow to never reveal the chapters secrets and then the marine departs, ready to serve the wider Imperium. The Keepers in the Deathwatch bring with them great fortitude and greatly increase the effecientcy of the armored vehicles, for they can be counted among the best gunners, drivers and pilots and they are known for never ceasing their crusade until the foe lays slain at their feet.
Notable Keepers of Sanctity:
Supreme Grand Master Ev'ok - The founder of the chapter and formally a Supreme Grand Master of the Dark Angels chapter, known for dealing a serious blow against Craftworld Iyanden by destroying a large number of their contructs and their campaign against the Imperium.
Grand Master Librarian Pro'vix - The current Grand Master Librarian, Pro'vix adorns mighty cataphractii terminator armor as he helps guide the chapter. He is most well known for destroying an entire rebel force and brought their sector back into the Imperium.
Supreme Grand Master Mes'phor - current Supreme Grand Master, Mes'phor like the founding astarte, is also best known for leading a massive campaign against the Eldar race, this would be against the one known as Biel-tan, for the xenos tried to destroy an entire human world, belonging to the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Freeblade Mortis V'kah - While not an astarte, Mortis was once part of a great Knight House that was destroyed by the ork hordes. One of the chapters crusades led them to an Imperial Knight world that was being attacked, the clanking ork machines had overrun and destroyed most of the world by the time the fleet arrived but while the intervention of the chapter had driven off the orks, the knight house was completely lost and only one knight survived, an unmarked, newly made chasis of destruction that had made it's stand. Mortis requested to join the chapter to pursue the greenskins for the destruction of her house and Mes'phor accepted, the mighty Castellan proved to be extremely effective at breaking the back of the horde and when supported by the mighty astartes with even the mighty walker protecting the battle brothers with it's shields and armor. After the orks were destroyed, Supreme Grand Master Mes'phor offered the freeblade a place in his chapter as he was impressed by the firepower and skill that was displayed. The freeblade accepted but the warrior needed a new name, thus Mes'phor named the freeblade Mortis V'kah, however there was a twist, the nobel had to pass the chapters recuitment test and accepted. Mortis wasn't use to the cold conditions of Tsar but he would prove to be victorious over the beast he was meant to slay and after making his own charm became the chapters personal Knight, making a rather unique position for the former-freeblade. While the knight isn't given to any of the companies, the knight itself is maintained by the armorium and the Master of the Forge. Mortis and his knight are only deployed under either the most dire circumstances or should the crusade require it.
Grand Master of Sanctity Rorr'ck - The current high chaplin of the chapter, Rorr'ck is well known by the ork race for leading a crusade of only a strike cruisers worth of marines and breaking an entire ork world, before declaring exterminataus upon it. The orks that were there watched Rorr'ck take the heads of the strongest nobz and their warboss and upon hearing his name feel great anger and venomous spite for breaking a good Waaagh before it started, however the fight that did occure did please the orks.
Grand Master of the Forge Ba'lisc - The current Master of the Forge, Ba'lisc has proven to be a worthy opponent, especially towards the green tide. A massive force belonging to the Evil Suns tried to rush an Imperial strongpoint, but after enacting many machine rites he had created an interweaving trap of turrets and servitors, pinning down and wipping out the greenskins with overwhealing force from the razorbacks and predators under his command.
Grand Master of the Apothecarin Zev'rex - Current chief apocthecary, Zev'rex is known for leading a crusade against an entire sector that tried to leave the Imperium, the mighty astarte and his brothers emerged victorious as he personally took the skulls of the planetary goveners as trophies.
Hal'vor, Master of the Lion's Maw - Hal'vor is best known for leading a force of the Lions Chosen and of the Lion's Maw company and slayed an entire companies worth of meganobs and cyborks along with their mekboss.
Nor'hix, Master of the Wings of the Aquila - Led a crusade against an alien race that only he and the chapter knew about and destroyed them.
Jov'rex, Master of the Fleet - Jov'rex is well known to ork freebooters, as with a battlegroup of his battle barge and three strike cruisers was able through cunning tactics and deception, defeated an ork fleet three times it's size
Sergeant Corvis - Corvis is of the 1st company and leads the fifth squad, he is often part of anti-Chaos operations and even defeated a daemon prince of Slaanesh.
Sergeant Ro'is - Ro'is once led the seventh squad of the 10th company, he had defeated many threats and many crusades were cunducted by him with great success as he reaped a bounty of skulls from hundreds of worthy targets. However he would be assassinated during the attack on the home system of the chapter, not by the orks but by the unmistakable round from the Vindicare Temple. Due to the ensuing chaos the assassin was never found, but the chapter now seeks to claim the assassin and smite him in the name of their fallen brother.
Battle-Brother Infer - Infer is part of the 5th company and 9th squad, he is renowned for defeating a daemon prince of Khorne and destroying his daemonic guard with his plasma cannon in a storm of powerful vollies.
Master Solace - Solace leads the 3rd company and is the current Master of the Arsenal, he is also the first primaris in the chapter to become a Master. He is best known for for his actions in bringing back a system back into compliance, being once part of an intercessor squad of the same company he was fairly seasoned in war, but an ambush would hit the small force he was apart of. He would end up switching between his and his brothers weapons to confuse the attackers that he was a larger force and he would come out on top, Solace would then locate a small passage, leading his brothers down the hall they would encounter a Fallen marine that was well-versed in close combat, the short but intense battle would result in the Fallen's death with Solace killing him with the Fallen's own power sword.
Appearence: The Keepers of Sanctity paint their armor black in honor of the Dark Angels legion of legend and wear red robes to represent spilled blood of those who were loyal to the Emperor, weapons are typically colored the same green as their parent chapter to represent that they enact the Lion's wrath. Even the chapter equivelent of the Deathwing paint their armor black to honor the original legion, effectivly reflecting the original legion atleast color wise. The chapter badge is a white shard of ice with a black roman numerial one in the middle of it.
In terms of company coloration it uses a combination of the Dark Angels and those laid out by the codex. For example a member of the 2nd company will have their left knee colored gold, though squad markings remain the same.
Chapter Beliefs: The Keepers practice a death cult that is tied in with the chapters traditions and approach to training aswell as warfare. The necklace they make is called a Charrion and it represents the tale of Lion el' Jonson's crusade of Caliban to rid it of corrupted beasts and as such the chapter seeks to wipe the xenos beasts from the galaxy in the same way. The chapter also practices trophy taking as a means to show their skill and to adhere to the chapter cult, they take the heads of worthy enemies(ork nobs or warbosses, eldar farseers, tyranid hive tyrants, etc.), they reduce the flesh to the bone of the trophy before placing it on display with some placing it onto their armor and even weapons are taken as trophies aswell, though these are surrendered to the librarians where they are cataloged. This cult however doesn't interfere with the creation of dreadnoughts as the knowledge and skill of war are needed for chapter to remain combat ready and insightful.
In terms of their feelings towards the Fallen and the destruction of Caliban, the Keepers view themselves as avengers, knights who are ready to put the Fallen to the tip of the sword, as such they don't capture fallen so they can repent, but rather hunt them down so they can be slain right then and there. Like their brother chapter the Angels of Absolution, they believe they owe no penance due to the actions of Dark Angels of the past, instead they view the Fallen as a stain on the banner of their parent chapter and the history of all the Unforgiven that must be wiped clean to reclaim the honor of their primarch.
When a battle-brother succumbs and dies, his equipment is added back to their respective armories, his gene-seed is harvested and his brian is removed before being reduced to ash. A black cloak is clothed around him, his charrion is carefully removed by a chaplin and the body is brought to the chapter crypt, by this point the members of the astartes squad or if there are none left the Lion's Chosen bring the body in a stone coffin that has been made for the occupent and set it into place, the chaplin chats sacred rites as the marines charrion is placed at the foot of the coffin and secred in place by a small stasis field. The trophies taken by the fallen astarte are removed from their places, those that hold great signifigance are placed in the massive librarium and the others are placed with the fallen marine, either outside of the coffin or on their person if it was worn.
Should a battle-brother be slain in battle and his remains can't be recovered, the Lion's Chosen, an apothecary and a chaplin go to try to reclaim the body, should they be able to they'll return to Tsar for burial, however should the body be stuck or embedded and can't be removed then the apothecary must try to remove the gene-seed and the chaplin has a grisly task, he performs his rites in removing the charm but then takes the fallen astartes head and is taken back to Tsar. The head will then be reduced to the bone by the chaplin and the charm and chaplin go to the chapter crypt, rather then us a coffin, there is a massive chamber where the skull is placed where a plaque displays the detals of the astarte, the charrion is placed just under the skull and then the whole display is surrounded by a stasis field.

Dagger of Guilt(Sword class frigate) - Active, formally part of a rebel fleet, the captain didn't know he was being used as the leader of the flotilla had been saying the orders were given from the higher ups and that they were hunting pirates. It was when the Keepers of Sanctity emerged and attacked the fleet did they realiae their faults, the ship joined the angels of death, but their life support systems were hit and the crew died before any aid was possible. After the battle was over all data was recovered, the Master of Sanctity proposed that the ship join their fleet, for these subjects were servants of the Emperor through and through, after much thought the ship was renamed and added to the roster.
Battlecry: "For the Lion!" and "Hail our steel!"
Notable engaugements:
The Crusade of Reclamation(950.M41) - The orks invade the chapters home system and while the chapter emerged victorious, they ultimately suffered many losses.
13th Black Crusade(999.M41) - The Keepers encounter forces of the Iron Warriors and a bloody battle between both forces and their mechanised armor breaks out across a desert death world, weeks of fighting give way to a chaotic bastion where the entire chapter deploys to destroy it. The Keepers would destroy the Iron Warriors stationed and the would discover that this was a trap as more Iron Warriors would come and this time the roles would be reversed, this would result in the ground forces having to bunker down as the 1st company fought boarders off in the void and the 2nd company zoomed across the planets surface, strafing and harrasing the ancient foe. When the Great Rift opened the Iron Warriors decided to fall back for fear of losing their space forces, the Keepers seized the moment and launched a quick counter attack, but most of the Iron Warriors would make it back into space before disappearing into the rift. The Keepers celebrate their victory and destory the remains of the dark fortress before setting course back to Tsar.
The Plague Wars - The actions of the Keepers during the Plague Wars had them actively engauge both the corrupted 14th legion and the daemons of Nurgle. The chapter would claim many victories and deliver a great blow to the creatures of the Plague Lord.
Keepers of Sanctity © Me
History: The Keepers of Sanctity are a Dark Angel successor chapter, most of their records are lost and their founding is unknown, the only thing that is known about the chapters early history is that their founder was a Dark Angel supreme grand master by the name of Ev'ok who is infamous for taking action against Craftworld Iyanden by destroying a large number of their contructs and ending a campaign against the Imperium.
