It's rare to see a truly dedicated reporter, one that isn’t afraid to get dirty, that jumps right in and is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of a story. Thanks to the incomparable Toughset we get to see just such a reporter, and the full range of her assets, though we may not be seeing her for much longer. ;).
If there was ever a cartoon lady that was literally made for peril, and to be a damsel in distress it has got to be original cartoon April O’Neil, from the 87 TMNT, and here we see her once again in distress, and looking quite distressed as well. ;)
Remarkable artwork here, April looks incredible in Toughset’s style, particularly with that nervous expression of hers, like she’s trying to keep her cool and keep smiling, cause she’s on camera, but she knows she’s in trouble, and those sweat drops are a nice touch. From the look of that quicksand, I’d say she’s in a lot of trouble, cause from the way it’s mounded up and squishing around her sunken arm and bobbing chest it looks extremely thick and gooey, which is accented by those thick bubbles popping on the surface around her. Gotta love the bump that Toughset gave to her buoyancy, and how that iconic yellow jumper of hers conforms to them, as they bob atop the quicksand, slowly sinking in. Though, I do notice that one little button right in the front, and can’t help but think that it really must be straining to keep her contained. The HUD from the camera, complete with ‘rec’ is a great touch to add context to the situation, of course why is she reporting from a swamp where she managed to get stuck in quicksand, well, that still remains a question, which April may not have time to answer. ;). A marvelous peril picture of this iconic damsel. :)
What do you think? :D

Yeah, I'd say things are definitely not going the way she planned. ;)
Haha, yeah, that way the weight of her chest can push her under faster. ;D
Well, they might be standing beyond the quicksand zooming in with the camera from a distance.
Haha, sure seems that way, but cartoon quicksand has a way of ignoring the laws of physics. ;)
Gotta always get the latest scoop whenever possible. And it really shows April is that dedicated to her job ;). Though sometimes the scoop may not be worth it if it gets you stuck in quicksand ;)
Yeah, you really gotta take risks as a reporter, and it definitely shows her dedication to her job an to getting to the bottom of the story. ;). Yeah, but just imagine the ratings she'll get. ;)
Oh yeah she really does show it ;). Well you do have a good point. Being that close to the scoop will definitely boost ratings ;). That be it one reason or another completely different ;)
Indeed she does. ;). Oh, it certainly will boost ratings, that's for sure. ;).
