The pose is nice and dramatic, though she seems a bit off balance, and it just looks like her left leg could be moved in a bit more. Great job!

Thanks for the heads up. Actually she's supposed to be about to take a step, but if you trace a vertical line from between her ears to the "floor" she still has a foot pad on that spot. I probnably should have checked and corrected for a left/right bias though.

Yeah the center of gravity is behind the main weight bearing foot, the pose works :)
Also, visually at least, the tail helps balance too!

I think, maybe it's because of the hip being a little bit farther from the crotch, maybe? (The weight bearing leg looks faboo.) Still, it's a great pose, and a great piece of art! :)

Thank you. Color is just one of those things, I need to get paid to be motivated for, with a couple of rare exceptions. I never did learn how to paint, or reallyg et much training in color outside of work.

The outfit was all hers, came off the reference. Lycra Tube Top and Bike shorts, and all of these straps and buckles. (and restraints),

I had a lot of fun with this commission, she's a happy character, and a joy to draw.

Oooooo, I thought I had faved this one...

You can even make stationary poses look so lively! And I adore the way you draw legs. Most of us (God, me included) just don't put enough detail in them.

it's all about that "action line" or Spine Line". Just play with it. Play with balance, attitude and thought of the character and the pose comes out. As to led detail, well I tend to obses abut legs a little, but looking at muscle and fitness type magazines help, that and the old academic books, like Loomis or Bridgeman.
