Sorry, but a little attention please!
Hi!
Increasingly, there are situations in which I deviate from my rules in favor of customers.
For example, I add a close-up for free that was not originally agreed upon, I do not charge extra for alternative versions
or I add the background for free, I do not charge extra for a large number of edits.
I'm embarrassed to scare off the customer, I want to be comfortable working with me, and I'm also proud that my customers don't wait more than a month for work.
But it gets harder to keep up the pace every time because I spend a lot more time not getting rewarded for it.
I really appreciate everyone who has trusted me, but I must become tougher to keeping the rules that I put forward myself.
It is the additional services that I do for free that allow me to keep prices at the same level for three years
and allow me to order artworks from me with any budget Q-Q
Please read the rules before ordering, it will help you understand in advance whether we will suit each other <3

P. S. If I agreed to something without warning about the additional payment, then it's free! I have to follow my own rules!

Yes, seconded - when I've asked artists for things like alt versions or whatever, the response is always either "No, I'm not offering that at this time" or "Yes, I can do that, it will be an additional $XX", and that's totally fine / what I'm expecting when I ask for those kinds of things.
It's extra above and beyond what was originally offered; naturally it will cost more or not be available. Either is fine to say! :)

Ouch this is painfully relatable for me. I don't know how many times I've done extra work for free just because I'm afraid of disappointing people. It can be difficult to mentally overcome. But you definitely deserve to paid for every bit of the amazing work you do and I'm sure no one will mind <3
Stay strong, you deserve the prices you laid out. if people ask for extra edits point out that they owe extra for that stuff. it isn't wrong to want fair pay for hard work. You owe it to yourself. And if clients can't respect you and your work, black list 'em. I know plenty of artists are open about being willing to cut off clients who are disrespectful, it's not a bad thing. It means you respect yourself and your time. It can feel scary, but you're worth it~
Honestly, speaking as someone who commissions a lot of artists for art. Whenever an artist does end up adding something for free that I wasn't expecting. I make SURE that I'm giving them a good tip as a thanks. Because I know how much effort goes into making edits or alternative versions (watched a lot of artists stream their process).
I just hope that you have enough people doing that, it doesn't feel too bad when you don't follow your own rules.
TLDR; You are amazing and should be properly compensated for your hard work, time, and customer service nature you provide your customers/clients. ^-^ <3

I understand that fear a lot, but sometimes, putting your foot down when it comes to the rules you've set up is needed, and at the same time, dont be afraid to charge extra for added things, thou make sure they are talked about and agreed first, I feel most commissioners would understand the added cost if they really want extra things from an already agreed price/work.
