the use of the lighting to place the reader's focus was particularly well done here.....

now we find out if his ego is bigger than his concern. if he's still dumb enough to think he can pull this off and escape, he'll attack. if the fact that throw he got hit with shouldn't have worked without enormous power and skill behind it to connect like that has filtered into his head, he's going to use whatever diversion he had whipped up for this going wrong and try and get out of the city.

if he didn't think to set up anything to get people off him if something went wrong, well he's just stupid.

I get a wonderful "Crouching Tiger"-style chase across the rooftops.

Until, of course, the archer dies messily.

Oh yes..some nice "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" roof top combat. Can't wait!
