Maybe some of ya'll recall seeing my journal about organic gardening in the 70 by 70 foot garden we built.
Well, here is some of what's been coming out of this garden! No sprays, a tiny bit of organic fertilizer, and sporadic watering (water source is a stream 400 feet away down hill) and we have delicious produce of all sorts!
In this photo we have tomatillos, Russian Black Prince tomato, Hungarian Oval tomato, Golden Pear tomato, Dragon Tongue Green beans, dill, lettuce, and a wee pepper of some sort.
I can't wait for the melons and squashes! I plan to make butternut squash pastas and raviolis MmmMMmm.

Amazing photograph, it almost looks like a still life :D
(Edit: Quite funny though, we usually tend to say the contrary x))

Man, I'm more of a fruit than vegetable person and this has my mouth watering.
I can't eat a .jpeg!
And now my day is ruined.
And now my day is ruined.
It's a disaster, Vantid! A disaster! Our garlic also will be a bountiful disaster as well. ;)
mmm, looks like an awesome colorful variety of produce. I'm preparing a garden that I'm hoping to be able to keep mostly or all organic, but I still need to decide what to grow :)
What a nice bounty! Congrats on a successful garden, I'm working on one myself with the roommates.
I can attest that anything you grow yourself tastes better!
Congrats on the successful harvest! I can't wait until I can have a garden of my own. I tried to have a container garden on my apartment's little balcony but it didn't work out very well, lol!
Also butternut squash sounds so awesome. I love those. Question, how is it that you're growing your squash? I have experience growing things like leafy vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, etc. but I have no experience with gourds.

I have no experience either! I built a mound and popped some plants into the ground. Some plants are doing fantastic, some are not doing as well. The ones near the compost heap are enormous. All the members of that family (melons, sqush, cukes and zukes) are sprawling everywhere if they are doing ok.
This is more orgasmic than any other picture I've ever seen on FA :D
It looks delicious, Vantid. How do you keep the bugs away to get such healthy fruits and vegetables?
Some of the plants have bug damage, for example the romanesco broccoli isn't doing so hot against something and japanese potato beetles are crawling on the potato plants which we go through and squish by hand. But there is a plethora of spiders and toads and other predatory insects that reside in the garden.
Next year we will try companion planting, which is where you intersperse plants that do well together whether they ward off insects or make happy chemical reactions with one another. It's NEAT!

ow im hungry... can i have that russian tomato xD? yay for nature ^^
Very nice! Wish I had my own place so I could get back to organic gardening.
Looks both beautiful and delicious, if I were near you I would thieve some (sneaky sneaky)
Those beans are the Guardian Beans that make me think of you!
hehehe, I drew a guardian bean! I need to scan him in (it's just a doodle) to show you
Beautiful colors, love the composition and all I need is to add a tiny pinch of salt and nom the whole arrangement! Do I see sprigs of dill weed at the top?
You got! That dill was later used for a Czech dill cream sauce for potato dumplings and a roast.
You betcha! I miss the dill sauce dearly since its premature departure into our stomachs.
Oooh, I have never heard of 'Dragon Tongue' green beans! I love beans! I need to get my hands on some of those for myself!
Awesome produce production... (Sorry, that line had to be typed)
in the sample I was thinking "Wow, she drew that?"
