when i was first introducing my girlfriend to the newest generation of my little pony and asked her if she wanted her character to be a unicorn, earth pony, or a pegasus, she replied that she wanted to have both wings and a horn. i told her that only princesses had both and her answer was. well then I'll make wings or a horn.

that attitude carried over to Autumn who, being born a unicorn, always dreamed of flight and so she applied her talent to steamcraft to make herself a pair of wings.

there are plenty of little details here and there that i'm rather proud of. for one, the wings have glitter layered into the topcoat so they sparkle when the light catches them and the screen on her personal computing device is several layers of nail polish with plenty of gloss topcoat to make it look like glass.

this custom has been a long time coming.
