Here is where all of FA's writers may gather to celebrate the fine art of words. We are also here to help you enter the art of writing if you are just now getting into as your fellow writers will gladly assist you when needed. We also hope to help generate a little more buzz about your work amongst the community, regardless of what you may write.
More will be added to this as soon as possible. We are still under construction. =)
There is no official application to join our organization so if you want to join up, just +watch us. We thank you for your visit and any interest in the organization that you may have!
Submissions note: Because every writer has their own preference of how they write their stories/poems, we will be posting works here in the format that the authors published them in.

Promises, promises...
13 years agoHey, FA_Writers! Faora here again, with my month-delayed journal post updating everything! Unfortunately, my life continues to spiral out of my control and pandemonium is ensuing! But that's okay, because it's just more interesting experience I can use to draw on for my writing! One day I'll write an autobiography, and it's going to sound like the most insane fiction I've ever penned. And that will be funny, considering some things I write about!
But I'm here, and about, and still taking your stories to upload to the page! Also, there's a new writing guide of mine I've had sitting on my desktop for the better part of two months now; one day, I'll get around to uploading it for everyone to see!
Last entry, I offered the group a challenge! I told you to take your characters, and push them really above and beyond the call of duty. To stress and strain them to the breaking point, and then beyond it. Of course, we should do this already! Characters, like people, are forged in the crucible of life, shaped by the flames of adversity. All stories have conflict of some form or another, and these provide the difficulty that our characters face before they can achieve their goals. So! Who rose to the challenge? If you wrote a whole little story for it, note the group and let me know! We'll re-upload it here for us all to see!
New challenge time, and this one is going to take everyone in the group working together! Less a challenge and more a little bit of fun, I'm attempting to draw everyone together so that we can work towards a common goal. That goal? Stretching our writing muscles, of course! And what better way to do that than by writing something that forces you to think outside the box?
Collaborative writing can be a slow process, slower than writing your own work most of the time. But if it's a communal effort, some real fun can be had! So that will be the challenge! In a moment, I will present a paragraph to kickstart things. The next person to comment will reply with their paragraph contribution to the budding story, and so on, and so forth! Limit of one paragraph per post!
Of course, we can't let a handful of dedicated people run away with this though, so rule the first is that you can only post another paragraph once five people have posted after your last contribution. And we can't let our underage FA_Writers miss out on the fun, so rule the second is that the story must evolve in a PG-13 fashion. No explicit content here, guys!
So, for the FA_Writers Communal Writing Challenge, let us begin:
It was an ordinary day. The sun rose from across the ocean, and her waves lapped gently at the shore. Their gentle, soothing sound reached the ears of a lone figure, whose stare stretched out across that immense, blue surface. The figure smiled from on high, with eyes that glittered with the reflection of the sapphire waves. It was an ordinary day, but one person knew perfectly well how quickly the ordinary could change.
(If you've any comments to make on the journal entry, or on posts to the story challenge, please place them in parentheses such as these! And most of all, have fun!)
