Salutations! Welcome to my little corner of FA.
I consider myself furry if you're defining "furry" as "someone who enjoys art, stories, and other media involving anthropomorphic animal characters." If your definition involves other requirements or assumptions, I may or may not match up. >^_^<
I write fantasy and soft science fiction, often featuring anthropomorphic characters, and my short stories have appeared in various publications both in the furry fandom and outside it, including Strange Horizons; Black Static; Daily Science Fiction; Heat; X; both volumes of Different Worlds, Different Skins; Bewere the Night; Trick or Treat; PULP!; An Anthropomorphic Century; and The Cóyotl Awards Anthology. I also have two novels available from furry publishers: the medieval fantasy By Sword and Star (Anthro Dreams, 2012) and the tribal coming-of-age fantasy Huntress (FurPlanet, 2015).
I've published poetry as well, though most of that was in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and I occasionally do visual art in traditional media as a hobby.
As far as the personal stuff goes, I'm female, straight, and happily married to jarrellwoods for 26 years and counting. >^_^<
P.S. for artists: I'm always interested in seeing art (or music) based on my stories or poetry, so if something inspires you, feel free! (All I ask is please, no adult art of characters from general-audience stories, and if you do art based on an adult story, keep in mind that I favor the romantic over the anatomically obsessive.)
P.S. for writers: I'm always happy to talk shop and help out where I can, but due to the time commitments of my work schedule, my own writing, and other personal obligations, I can't beta read or critique your work. If you're interested in receiving critique on a particular piece of writing, I recommend posting it to the critique board in the Furry Writers' Guild forums (you'll have to register for the forums before you can see the crit board), or I also recommend Critique Circle (a good non-furry crit site).

New Tesla Mae story on Patreon, and other updates...
Realized that as of this week, I've been on FA for 17 years. I'm nowhere near as active here as I used to be, I know, but I do still check in from time to time.
So, a few updates on what I've been working on elsewhere:
For those of you who remember my story "Tesla Mae and the Lost Tribe," published in the anthology PULP! (ten years ago, OMG), I've sent Tess off on a new adventure on my Patreon. Tesla Mae and the Forbidden Isle is the novella-length sequel to the original story, and it sends Tess, aspiring reporter Georgie, and one of Tess' saurian hatchlings back to that fated island. It's currently updating every Tuesday and Friday and is slated to run through mid-April.
I've got more cool stuff planned for my Patreon in the coming months, and as little as $1/month gets you all access, so if you've thought about signing up in the past, now's the time!

Also, over on The Voice of Dog podcast, stories from the Happy Howlidays anthology were featured in a two-part episode last year, including my Rudolph story "A Change in the Weather." You can give that a listen here (or, as they say, wherever you get your podcasts).
Hope everyone's doing well. >^_^< Feel free to comment and let me know what you folks have been working on lately!
Oh, and don't forget to find me on Bluesky, if you're over there. It's my new social media home; I've made my Twitter account private and I log in over there as little as I can get away with now.
