More and Different
Update:
Don't Go There.
The 'editor' has turned into a sociopathic lunatic. If, during your hectic day, you're looking for some 'Furry' content that is a little different from the usual fare on the big sites (Fur Affinity, Deviant Art, Weasyl and the like), I have a suggestion. There is a newer, magazine-type site running on BlogSpot. No porn, no screamingly bright and repetitious Sparkle Dogs or Dutch Angel Dragons, no constant YCH and commission demands. It looks a little more like the furry 'zines did from ten or twenty years ago.
Hybrid - Fabulous Furry Fun!
Yes, I'm one of many contributors. No, I haven't posted anything out there that you can't find on FA -- yet. I've given up on DA because their new system is rabidly anti-author. I also refuse to post anything on Weasyl because their moderators were mean to a couple of my friends. I wanted another outlet, and Hybrid gives me that.
Let me say, I'm not a big fan of the layout or the abuser interface. It's hard to find anything that's been out there a while; archive dives are a little difficult because of the way BlogSpot works. If I find a way around it or figure out how to build a directory, I'll suggest it to the operators.
Ah. Operators. Billy D. Bunny and Andrew the Bee (Andibi) have been at this for a while. Billy is an artist who has a fascination with history. He spends his days looking for interesting anthropomorphic and related art and photography – and ruthlessly researching it. Andibi is also an artist (if you like Deer and Kangaroos, he's your guy!) who has put up a couple of comic books of his own creation. Not exactly like anything I've seen before.
Give it a shot. Try it out. Kid friendly and Mom-approved (at least two contributors are mothers).

EDIT: on the black bar across the top, if you hover your mouse over the far left end (it probably says Classic), there are other formats you can select. Magazine and Timeslide seem to be about the most useful.

Billy's p!$$ed ticked off another barkeeper. Just the current front page / most recent submission.
interesting to be sure... can't quite figure it out yet, but I'll have another go at it a bit later... hanging curtains...

The most recent stuff floats to the top. I posted Girl yesterday and it's already hard to find. I'm trying to figure out an index.

Okay Perfesser. You've got my curiosity piqued. I went to the site to check out their rules for submissions, and you're correct about the difficulties in Navigation. Most the art seems to be "Funny animal" images gleaned from early 1900s publications, and hardly anything contemporary or science fiction themed. I bookmarked the page and I plan to explore it further.
Navigation is difficult, but click on the left end of that black bar (where it says Classic, in the image above) and try one of the other formats. I like Magazine mode.
They are seeking contributions, if you're interested. We only have a few regulars sending in material, so a lot of it is Billy and Andibi posting stuff they've found online. The piece by Langueo is new work; he's a current artist.

bookmarked.
looks like a lot of diversity fun. :) once I get my life sorted better I might try to contribute. I used to publish a few things with South Fur Lands magazine, maybe some 15 years ago? I still have the printed issues and stuff. :)

Once Hybrid gets off the ground, it should be a little like SFL, a little like, I dunno, Genus (without the pr0n)
Be advised -- navigation is a little hinky. Hover your mouse over the Classic in the left end of that black line. Magazine works best for me; YMMV.
The linear nature of the site is a big negative for me. I like being able to quickly find a past work of an artist. It's what keeps me away from Twitter and I don't think I'll bother with Hybrid unless somebody links me directly to something there.
And what? Billy ticked somebody off? I'm shocked and surprised! Seriously, though, I miss seeing Mister Scribbles over here on FA.

The linearity was a big PitA for me until I discovered the variable layouts. Much better now. Play with the layout control and see you find something you like.
Billy has been kicked off FA twice and DA at least twice. He's a plankholder on Hybrid,, so it's going to be hard to get rid of him!

I did look thru those and found a couple that I considered much better than the default. But with everything I need right here, I'm content to just hang out on FA.
Ha! I wasn't aware of his ousters from DA. That's Billy.

I don't consider it instead of anything. It's still small time; just worth a glance once in a while. I post my stuff out there more for additional exposure than anything.
"Kicked offa...-"
You know those are both POSITIVE resume items, right...?
Now I GOTTA go 'n' look...
