Recently on the forums, in a thread about productivity, I noticed a piece of advice: "have a low target, so it's easy to grasp everyday". Such an obvious thing, but easy to overlook. And seems exactly what I need when I'm busy with stuff and can't pour multiple hours into art daily. Normally I have a tendency to think in the terms of grandiose projects, constantly pushing the boundary of what I can do. Seems commendable, until you realize that along with it comes tendency to "dig myself in" for multiple months. With some projects not reaching fruition because of excessive, unmanageable workload.
What you see here is a first application of "low target". Now, it's Easter holiday time, so it took less than 48 hours from getting the idea until uploading. But this should be perfectly manageable over the course of several busy days too.
I did not try to create a perfect run cycle, just what looks pleasing. Also the hair was brought only to "acceptable" stage, I certainly don't want to spend next 10 days fine-tuning it! All in the name of speed, which then goes nicely with the gif's theme. Additionally what they're doing with Blender's rendering speed is insane, it stops being a huge difference whether I keep the fur visible or not!
The funny thing? I don't even like running. Looks like it's more of Joanna's thing to do, so she can keep at it.

she's looking good even in low rendering. :) love the fluid motion. and some little details like fur strands over the panty's rim. ^^
Ah, but rendering quality itself wasn't low exactly. It's as close to perfect as GIF encoding allowed. It was rather the whole project's idea, to put together something nice as fast as possible. Within hours instead of weeks. That's the "low" aspect.
Yeah, I'm pleased myself with the fluidity of motion I managed to achieve. Sometimes I wonder, had I been living somewhere where the animation industry exists, I could have been working with this professionally. It feels pretty easy for me to arrange realistic motions, somehow.

ah, I misunderstood you there, then. :)
well, maybe you'll open your own studio some day. and five years in the future we see pixar running shagged.

Hopefully there will be more small projects like this.
Exercise sequences are easy to loop and pack into a GIF so there should be more of those, in time. And many of otherwise still pictures could be spiced up by having them as such short loops. I actually don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.
If you're familiar with the Agile Methodology, what you've described is a similar philosophy. Hmm! I should try that for writing...
I haven't been much of a programmer so I've only read about the thing. Maybe that's why it didn't come to mind earlier, to try doing things this way.
