This is part twenty six of a series of images followed by stories that follow Warren, a human. And Alice, a Tordenchi. As they both survive during the Rynar's invasion of earth.
Super hyped to get back on this after a 3-4 month Hiatus! Sorry for the delay on this post! Will be posting just 1 more on Halloween before going back to our regular monthly schedule!~
We had some major help on the radio-talk for this one! Thanks to GasMaskFox

That's it! I scrambled to grab a piece of paper, though as my eyes struggled to search, I reached up and tore a map from the wall. Grabbing a red sharpie, I quickly began scribbling whatever notes I could on the back. Soon another voice came on the radio, signaling himself differently.
"This is HUB, all units, be advised, Alien Bn is moving north, sixteen hostiles. Full-quieting is required soon. Over."
It felt good to hear another human voice as I scribbled down more, able to forget what was waiting outside briefly. As I keyed up on the mic, their voices abruptly stopped. I adjusted my dials before keying again.
"Break-break. HUB, this is R-Shack, lone survivor of Eastern AAF. Am I on a rubber duck? Over."
I snickered, enjoying the radio-talk lingo. Soon the first voice was back for a moment.
"R-shack, this is HUB. Roger that R-Shack, picket-fence is pretty hard. Over."
Nodding, I wrote down 'Zeta Mobile' and 'Hub' on my notes. After waiting a few seconds, I grinned as the second voice returned the call.
"HUB, This is R-Shack. Copy that, over."
The more static radio signal came in a moment later.
"HUB, this is Zeta-Mobile, On mobile, requiring an unkey as we move, Over and out."
"This is HUB, copy Zeta-Mobile, HUB net in seven hours, over and out."
There was a pause before the voice keyed again.
"R-Shack, this is HUB. One survivor? Over."
Keying in a moment later, I was almost too enthusiastic.
"HUB, this is R-shack. Roger, just me from the AAF; aliens roughed us up good. Over."
I grunted as I keyed off, remembering the plasma flash searing through my allied flyer. Sighing, I perked up only when the voice spoke again.
"R-Shack, this is HUB. Copy that. What is your Location? Over."
I bit my lip, turning my map around before trailing my fingers across the various streets. It took me several minutes to find my bearings, but seeing the road I was on, I keyed back up.
"HUB, This is R-Shack; my location is east from 18. Ranger shack just off Barret road. Over."
I rechecked my location while waiting for a response, and after several long seconds, I finally received another signal.
"R-Shack, this is HUB. Do you have an HT? Over.
Glancing around for any smaller radio, I sighed and keyed up.
"HUB, this is R-Shack. Negative HUB, working off a boat anchor here. Over."
"R-Shack, this is HUB. Copy R-Shack, will relay to Zeta-Mobile during net hours, break. Giving course now, R-Shack, you will meet with Zeta-Mobile and then travel north towards HUB. Over."
The transmission continued, and I followed the best I could. Now focusing on the map, I drew down the line for what roads I'll need to follow.
"Hub, this is R-Shack. Copy, will meet with Zeta-Mobile on Charley Road tomorrow."
I sighed, smiling as I checked over my map. I'm no artist, but it's usable...
"R-Shack, this is HUB. Stay safe out there; word on the waves says new aliens are being seen. Dogs, cats, hell, and even some giant birds. Over and out."
As I went to sign off, there was a squeaking sound outside. I glanced out the window just in time to see the giant snap a hand down to its leg. The thing cried out and abruptly dropped the pole.
I had got what I needed at least so the timing was perfect; just hope no one else needed to use the radio. All that was left was a matter of trying to lose this thing since leading it to the convoy wouldn't end well for the rest of them.
With the map in hand, I hobbled over to the window, I’d have to play it cool till I could get to the truck. Maybe then I could outrun it and be on my way, easy enough with its leg by the looks of it.
But until then, I need to pretend I trust this giant... Thing.

pretending is a hard thing to do, because if you keep repeating something to yourself you'll eventually believe it.
But there's no chance he'll stick with her. Afterall, she almost killed him, and just broke the radio tower!
A saying that I often say to myself, people are always lacking in logic
I like how some of the other UTO species were finally mentioned on Warren's POV! Also, why is Alice looking at him like that?
Alice looks like she wants snout boops.
Also I wonder if those men on the other end will realize those on the other end will realize that those giant “dogs, cats, and birds” are here to help them.

This is still early on in the invasion... If it's a giant, it's an enemy, until somehow the giants can prove they are friendly~
Do you know who long this series will run for I can’t wait to see how this all plays out
I gotta say. Just incase I forgot.
I have 🐝 n seeing your story pop up a lot in my feed.
Keep at it. I always wondered a theme like this. I have had my own ideas but never had the drawing talent to put it together.

Aye! I'd HIGHLY suggest reading Integration, by Hetzer! He does a much better job at exploring the idea! Though please thank Jadan for putting in the work to bring the words to life in these art pieces :3
I really hope Alice eventualyl figures out how to communicate to Darren that she's not a threat :3 Would be interesting if she brought Darren over to the caravan to the shock of the other members :3
If he does think the mouse is a threat, it might have been a good idea to alert his allies to her presence.
It wouldn't hurt to show a little concern for her either after she went out of her way to help him like that.
