A grey spotted hand began to swirl around a red vial in the fingertips. It was soon poured into a triangle vile before placed down onto the ground. “One more batch done!” The hand reached up, undoing the knot off the apron. The leopard-tiger mix washed his hands in the sink, cleansing them of any byproducts from the chemicals. His large fluffy tail wagged behind him like a metronome, reaching up to the back of his shoulder blades and some. With wet paws, Kepler turned off the water flow and dried them using a nearby towel.
Kepler faced the row of potions, each one looking as the other. His ears flicked towards his left when hearing something almost bubble. The big cat turned to one of the potions that had some air pockets still in them. “I missed one? Strange.” Unsuspecting of some failure led to Kepler grabbing the defective potion. The touch of his soft finger seemed to do it in. Kepler yelped when, without warning, the potion shattered from a single touch.
Glass littered the ground, table and more. Kepler would turn the sink on, pouring the warm water into the small incision on his index finger. He winced when he felt a slight bit of water flowing over before the stinging stopped. “That was weird. I didn’t do anything weird with the vi- Woah!” Kepler didn’t get a second to finish talking to himself. Kepler’s thin knees smashed into the table top’s underside, forcing the big cat to squint in pain. He reached down to rub them, beginning to notice the difference.
Kepler had grown an extra three feet. He didn’t will himself to grow though… Kepler fell over when feeling a tremor spout through his body without warning. His eyesight began to see the sink below get much smaller, a single hand big enough to dwarf its size now. Kepler had to take multiple steps back now, bumping into the potion table behind him. “I gotta get out of the lab!” Kepler walked to grab the door but no chance. His head flew into the roof, forcing the big cat down onto his knees.
Kepler’s back was against the roof without much reason now. “What’s happening?! Did the potion get into my wound?!” Kepler’s eyes darted to the now tiny red mark on his index finger. It was much too small to really tell what had entered into his system by now. Kepler began to feel his core rumble some more now. Another spurt came, forcing the kitty’s face into a nearby wall with his legs crashing straight into another wall. He had to have been at least 20 feet tall.
“Oh boy. How much bigger am I going to get?” Kepler had started to crumble up his legs, seeing his ripped shirt and underpants remaining in strips. They were soaking up some of the remaining potion juice on the ground. That did nothing to stop the rest of it now soaking into his spotted legs. Kepler felt his body beginning to push against the walls once more. He pushed on the walls, trying to stop his body from expanding so much bigger than there already was.
That did nothing. Kepler began breaking through the walls and roof at the same time. His expansion continued with many tables pushed aside or crushed under his body. Kepler continued growing larger and larger, each potion’s effects exponentially exploding on him. Kepler would only get some glimpses of familiar sites now destroyed under his paws and his head crashed into another room. Kepler slowed down against the final wall to the outside world, feeling his legs crash into another room as he had stopped.
Kepler didn’t move a single muscle, not knowing what he could do without breaking another wall. Most of his lab was destroyed under his arms, legs, head, or whatever else part he had felt getting brushed up against. Kepler pushed his head against the wall, trying to get comfortable for the next few hours. It seemed that the wall didn’t seem to agree, breaking under his weight. Kepler’s head pushed right out into the open street, his ears getting covered in some dust from the broken debris. “Sophie? Tess? Anyone?” Kepler called out, hoping to get some reply.
Welp, it was going to be a long wait for someone to come by with a shrink potion. Kepler adjusted his head and legs, accidentally breaking right through the other wall as well. “I hope this doesn’t last too long…”

An old request I did for a friend alias404 . I have a lot of these stories laying around that I'll get to posting soon when I find more time, I promise! And better at writing tags/descriptions.
