I have decided to do some mixed media experiments, by using both watercolor and tempera, and see what comes out of it. The goal is to develop a more painterly style, in addition to my current one that relies on inks and lineart.
Soooo yeah, this is the first attempt. I know you guys don't follow me for landscapes, but I still wanted to share it. Maybe soon I'll feel confident enough to try painting a character as well, we shall see ^^ There's also another experiment I made, but maybe I'll post it in the future when I don't have anything else to show.

Wow that's real pretty! Wouldn't mind getting lost in that painting, amazing work.
First attempt? You should do more for backgrounds, then see if you can do the same for characters. This is the kind of picture I like.
Yes indeed! And that is what I'm trying to do, but I'm having issues, since it's so different from watercolor.
For a split second I read tempura and was very confused XD
Nice work man, I'm happy to see anything from you, it's always a treat

HAHAHA! XD I'd not mind having some of that
Thank you a lot man! ^^
Thank you a lot man! ^^
Thanks! ^^ I despise autumn with every fiber of my being, but the colors CAN be pretty, I admit :P
I really like this! If you feel like doing more of these scenes, I certainly won't complain!
I certainly hope to do more, as soon as I learn some tricks! ^^ Thank you!
Fantastic work. Really gives the feeling of Autumn. Trees: Doggo Tested and Approved!
Really liked how this came out. Very nice use of the water colors, really capture the feel of autumn. I especially like how you made the effect of falling leaves.
It's a lovely little landscape. Makes me think of a place in my writing's setting, specifically in this case if it were in autumn. It would make for a nice background for a scene depicting something within the setting, I dare say!
The mixed media approach here looks like it went over very well. And while I like/love a number of art-styles, including ones with lots of "polish" and such, I *REALLY* love me a good painterly aesthetic.
Looking forward to see more of this approach, be they landscapes, characters, characters in landscapes, and whatever else! :D

Glad you liked it! :D And yeah, most of all I want a style that can be quite polished but not relying on lineart too much. We shall see what I can do!
