This is a quick (although it took me weeks to finish it) sketch concept for a catfolk nomad in my fantasy setting. I still struggle to make the different kitty factions of my world look distinguishable from one another, but I think I'm on a good path with this one. Of course there's a lot of variations in culture and attires even within the desert nomads themselves, the Sea of Sand is a vast area, after all.
Sorry I'm not very active these days, but finding the time to work on new art is not easy! In addition, I started seriously working on a script for my comic Divide et Impera, and that takes away even more time from drawing. I'm in such a "comic making mood" these days! XD

I always enjoy all the intricate details you put into your armor and clothing :D
I love the helmet, that looks so fucking good. The rest of the armour is cool, but that helmet...
Dude this is awesome, I love the little details and the avian theme is brilliant.
But that axe, god damn it looks good, perfect mix cultural decoration and practicality

Oooh, I love the gear, feels very mezo-american like.
Also hay, at least I'm not the only one is a comic writing mood. Cool, though 10 bucks and some coin I don't know where it came from says you're having better luck.

Don't work on the script too far. You've got to make the comic still, after all. XD
Heavy-duty nomad!
Good luck with the comic!

It doesn't matter how many of these kinds of drawings you post, I am always amazed by your attention to detail. Like others have mentioned, I am impressed by the helmet design and the weapon he's holding. Broader strokes like that help define the fellow's culture and beliefs. But the countless smaller details in the armor and weapons show a level of patience, skill and artistry in both the character and the artist. It's simply fantastic to see.
As always, thank you for sharing with us.

Definitely has some Mesoamerican influences there. Also two ways to peck!
He's got a lot of great details here and I like how you're always melding or combining different cultural influences for all your catfolk characters as well!
Well, he does look like a fearsome warrior indeed. Interesting weapon, looks a bit like a war hammer due to the pointy bit than an axe to me, but that's just a point of view..
