And there it was, the first hard decision as a leader. And more will surely follow.
I mean, they Mira and Leo both have a point, but that only makes the decision harder.

agreed, both have a point but having to choose one or the other could have consequences, hard decisions is part of being a leader, It'll be interesting seeing them all learn and grow. I imagine we're going to see many more reality checks throughout this quest as they all grow stronger together
Experiencing the hardship of leadership. Check
Having to accept you can't your emotions to get the better of you check. Check.
Regardless of Miralle's feelings towards Leo, accept he's speaking the truth. Check.
Chilli having to accept the harsh reality. Check.
Lots of battle wounds. Check.

Chilli having to accept the harsh reality. Check.
Lots of battle wounds. Check.
Wonder how many of those wounds are due the monsters and how many due the bad coordination...
Knowing this will take months of your drawing time to play out... I still allow my mind to wander, on how these guys will turn out, both in ability and relationships.
Why do I have this feeling that Leo and Miracle are going to just make out in the heat of battle at some point.
I love how common people are saying this! I saw one of these on DA as well!
Leo deserves to drop dead and suffer in whatever form of hell they believe in.
A bit harsh. But it isn't nice of him to use Mirrelle's argument against her because it's convenient to him now.
keep in mind Leo had a very harsh reality check as a child losing his mother as someone who has lost a parent in my early 20's I understand it can be very difficult, it would be even worse to lose that as a child, especially if his father was a disciplined man as it seemed he potentially was before losing his wife, I know Leo seems harsh and like an ass but he is not beyond redemption. this whole quest is meant to be a character building journey, everyone is going to grow and sometimes for a leader like mira having someone who throws your own hypocrisy in your face is necessary, Leo will get his own reality check soon, just like the rest of them.
Where do we find this part of the comic? I don't know anything about his past.
at the very beginning chapter it is mentioned that his mother was killed by these monsters they fight and that his father failed to protect her, which is why he has a strong dislike for his father
This I have to respectfully agree and I apologies for my harsh words or if I caused any offense.
no offense taken, I'm just pointing it out since a lot of people seem to be overlooking this fact, Obviously non of these things excuse the poor behavior he's shown, but it does help explain why he is the way he is, and we can hope that he becomes a better person as the journey continues
I don't want Leo dead.
I want him HUMBLED. I want to see his sense of self-importance crumble into dust once he realizes the true scope of the threat of Chaos, and that it's not something he can just stab away.
I want to see him Broken, forced to put himself back together as a better person.

Every character here has a serious flaw they need to overcome, or a serious lesson to learn.
Nor did he ask for any first aid.
Not that that's strictly speaking a positive character trait, but the fact that he wants to move on without focusing on his own health after he started this fight to begin with is reasonable.

Mirrelle made the right choice. Unfortunatly, Leo is still a prat using her logic when its convenient to HIM.
I feel he will continue to do what he wants, and use Mirelle's own arguments against her when it suits him.

If my character were among this group, he would also, very begrudgingly, agree with what Leo had to say. He definitely wouldn't be happy, and would give him the stank eye for a little while.
Was there any arguments saying that all this would have been avoided if Leo did not engage and force the team into a situation they are never ready for?
No…
Honestly, I feel many commenters are being a bit hard on Miralle, agreeing with Leo while not recognising that he started the fight when she said ‘No’, because a) the risk was too great, and b) they had a mission.
Or they just agree with Leo about that has well.

As someone who has dug graves to bury things (I'm a farmer IRL), it's a very slow, tedious, and dirty job. Especially in hard ground, or if you don't have the proper tools (and I don't see any shovels there.) Even with the proper tools, digging a hole at least five fee5t deep, for all those bodies, would take hours. Not something you want to have to do if you're in a hurry. Because the dead will attract scavengers, for example.
They could pile them up and burn them, but that also takes a hella long time, and would be pretty ghastly.
They should just say a prayer for the dead, and move on.

The main reason "Burning them" was considered by commenters is because we saw what happens when Corruption is left to linger on a Corpse for long enough.
To make it Brief: you get zombies... And they can spread the corruption to others. (That was how Lynus' Grandson and his Guardian Fireteam ended up getting cut down, most of them were being attacked by the zombified remains of the villagers, while Lynus' Grandson ended up bitten and tainted, which left him vulnerable to... Whatever Rah-J'an did to him.)
Also, Miralle's fire destroys corruption and tainted flesh, while leaving regular flesh unharmed, so Miralle could actually use the flames as a way to "Character test" someone for taint... I think it was mentioned in the same Q&A that Miralle's Green Fire is also rather Cold, and does not generate heat like regular fire.
So if anything, if they work together (That means helping them Leo!), Miralle's fire can make quick work of the Corrupted flesh and prevent the bodies from becoming zombies again.

So, it's a mission so important that they can't stop for anything, and yet not important enough that they can stop to fight any monsters in their way. 🙄
Yes, there is no time to dig holes but...
technically is "chaos" considered a virus or a disease of some type? The bodies do need to be "disposed" of so they don't infect anything that would come along after the adventurers and eat them. If predators find them still edible at least. If chaos is spreadable like a virus/disease then something like a vulture could pass it on. Similar to mosquitoes passing on blood diseases.
So cremation would be the best thing to do hear. Fire for purification.

Especially if they use Miralle's fire. While useless for cooking, the flames do burn away taint and corruption pretty easily.
As hard as it is, it's good to see that Mira is acting well as a leader, even if she doesn't like what she does; that's a good mature gesture. And as for Chili, even if her experience with the reality of her world has been pretty unpleasant, it's good to see that she's maturing too.
Oh, Leo's a jerk, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Burn the bodies; it purifies them and prevents them from being resurrected by necromancers ... a lot quicker too.
Speaking as someone with some medical experience, no, treating injuries cannot wait. They must be closed immediately to control bleeding, and at the very least, covered with either some sort of bandage or salve.
To make matters worse, they were fighting Chaos Beasts. All that ichor, not to mention whatever filth is already on their blades, means immediate treatment is an absolute imperative!
Honey and a dry, clean bandage at a bare minimum, because honey is not antibiotic, it's bacteriostatic, meaning it will suppress bacterial growth. That would give them time to reach a safe destination, then clean and debride the wounds before stitching them closed.
Also, very dick move, Miralle. On ALL counts!
1. No matter how much you may dislike someone in your group, NEVER deny them aid unless they've done something where doing so could impact your personal relationship with your deity, or affect your alignment. Not even in jest. Indeed, doing so would be a minor evil act, and would warrant getting a "busy signal" the next time the party cleric tries to cast a minor but still significant spell.
2. Never upbraid a party member in front of the others unless you have no other choice. Draw them aside, speak to them in private. Granted, this rule has been broken from the outset, but it's something that needs to be pointed out. The only time you should call out another person in front of the others, is if their actions present an immediate danger to the group and/or the mission.
Such as denying them aid, for example.
There's going to be some very harsh lessons learned as this group advances and grows.

Ok, the Comment section of the previous page pointed that out, but what about cremating the bodies?
I mean, it can't really be that much long to gather and burn the corpses, and if they are infected, that is a good way to preventing chaos corruption from spreading out. Specially given that Mirelle fire is specifically made to burn corruption.

Yes, make Leo do it! It's his mess that could infect the entire county. Don't start swinging if you aren't ready to do the cleanup!
I think the horrors of what is happening in the world is hitting a bit harder than they thought.
In this world, with the corruption, not even the Dead see the end of war.
If they do not dispose of the bodies, they will rise up as Zombies.

only thing we can do is to put the dead back in the grave. Also it reminds me of this song

Why not cremate them? That would theoretically take less time and would be more respectful to the dead than leaving them for scavengers.
