Just give him a rope he can hold on to that is tied to one of the others torso, that way he won't run into things. 😁 The stick should take care of the rest and avoid any unnoticed tripping hazards.
I imagine Nigel will handle blindness as well as Ron Burgundy did.
Had to look up that reference but yeah, kinda like that. 😁
...I get the feeling that Nigel getting his hands on a stick would reawaken some thought to be lost skills he had picked up back under his parents.
Then again, the ones we saw him do on-panel as a kid were Sword and Board techniques, that is, Sword and Shield techniques, so unless he was taught off-panel how to use a Spear along with a shield, Which is pretty much a Staff with a Sharp point or blade at one end, Nigel will have to try and guess how to use it as a weapon.
Either way, I feel that Nigel should be a little more than just "The Load". I mean, some of his snark does have good points, especially when Idealism becomes more of a Flaw than a merit (Which is dependant on the situation)... So I wonder how he would handle a stick?

Zatoichi had better manners, and Zatoichi listened to his environment. Nigel won't shut up.
Yep, something I also realized as to why burying the bodies was important is because like others have said, the chaos creatures are still there, including the chaos infection is still on those corpses. if random animals eat them and or if anyone come across the corpses and touches them then those animal and people will get infected and spread the chaos off screen without the main cast even knowing about it. So yeah, they really should've done something about those corpses. Not just to honor the dead, but to also prevent anymore of the chaos spreading.
I don't think bruises so much as just nasty gunk-splatter, the same as on Leo's axe. But from earlier pages, it seems like just getting some splatter won't be enough to cause problems. One seemed to suggest that you'd have to be bitten or otherwise injured for it to infect you with this Chaos heresy. The Guardian early in the comic had to be pretty much impaled by the Wossname-skull-face and was forcibly infected.
But when it comes to Chaos heresy, there are many dangers.

Yeah a tiny bit.
Lets hope its just a bruise and not a chaos-infection.
But regards a chaos-infection i'm more concerned about Leo since he had direct contact with one of the infected creatures.

I sure hope someone does find a nice stick for Nigel... and beats him to death with it.
Thats a mood. Initial situation be damned with his parents n that.. he's been an unlikeable little shit from the get go x.x
Yeah. It's extremely predictable that he will learn and grow as a person at some point in the story (Unless Zummeng throws a curveball later). But at the moment he is truly insufferable.
I dunno, I know they're non canon but some of the side pieces showing them in a more modern setting still have him as an entitled, unlikeable little asshole x.x
I think it'd be a bit of a spoiler if she gave him his planned future personality in the Q&A pieces. Though again, time will tell if he becomes a more likeable character or remains a total prick.
Damn, Tristan is such a good boy and deserves appreciation.
I'm sure he'll still try to help Nigel walk on his own, even without having to carry him anymore.

Chilli and Tristan sitting in a tree...~
...getting harassed by Tristan
...getting harassed by Tristan
Ah, I'm guessing by being in too close proximity to Nigel for an extended period of time an evil clone of Tristan was spawned, like Wario and Mario, hell bent on ruining Tristan's happiness! :O
Nigel's probably happy, he can now focus his assholery on Miralle and Leo now

Look at the bright side, Nigel: walking on your own you won't have to deal with those oversensitive things anymore! And Tristan & Chili would be allowed to get a room for real!
C'mon, Nigel, start figuring out why you were blinded!
Then you'll be more useful than any of the others might think.

Aww. Tristan is so cool. I bet he does have his own moments of doubt. It’s gonna be interesting to see what happens between all these characters :)
While it's nice to see Tristan and Chili getting along quite well, it's good to see that Nigel is still doing his own thing, at his style, in the group, so to speak. XD
Welp, Tristan better start buttering up to those overly empathetic people instead.
It really could have been avoided if Leo was carrying him. They would have bonded over complaining about everybody else.

that's what he gets for killing the moment. XD
I think he'll regain his eyesight by the time when he do some good heroics for the first time.
Makes my day to see a new page! Loving the characters and how they bounce off one another <3
