I decided to bump my Final Fantasy OC count up a bit.

Biography: Moselle is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena. She was born a day after the twins Melina & Zosime were born, making her part of the 3rd line of 1/2 mermaids in the family. Growing up, Moselle had always admired her father for being a hero across Olympus, and she wanted to be a hero like he was. One day, she picked up a sword of Juni's and wanted to train with it, so her father enabled her to do so with him helping out in her training. But while training with the sword, Moselle accidentally let a fire spell loose that just about set the farm field housing the family sheep on fire, but the fire was quickly put out. Noticing an injured sheep however, Moselle took responsibility & aimed to heal the sheep, although the deed was quickly done the moment she touched it. This told her father, and her observing mother that Moselle not only has good weapon prowess, she also has skill in both white, and black magic. So it was decided that she train to get both abilities under control while her sword training resumed, but Moselle also trained in how to fight with a katana, daggers, staves, rods, even taking up archery to name a few. A quick study, Moselle got the hang of these weapons in no time at all before practicing her magics with her mother, but again, Moselle proved to be a prodigy & was in control of her magics in days. Before long, Moselle came to be known as the family Red Mage. Yet at one point, Moselle did try the way of the Blue Mage, but once she figured out that it required getting hit to learn what the enemy uses, she went straight back to being the Red Mage that she was christened as and had not gone back ever since then. Nonetheless, Moselle proves herself a big help in the Final Fantasy universe, and around her homeworld of Olympus, and she is always ready to jump into the fray when prompted. As is to be expected from those in Juni's family, Moselle is a friendly & charming girl who is very much reliable to anyone who needs her help. However, she is also a big tease and is not afraid to show this side of her. She can also be persistent on occasion. Moselle likes to cook & does it so well that she's usually one of the first choices in the household to be placed on kitchen duty. She's even fond of Vieras, but is especially of Juni's immortal friend turned additional wife Julie, taking an immediate shine to her when she first met her & even going as far as to say that Julie had really cute ears. However, Moselle does not take too kindly to being served bland meals. The exact moment she finds blandness in her food, she will demand it be taken away to be seasoned properly. Moselle however, is deathly afraid of Dragon Zombies. In fact, on one trip, she vehemently suggested her party stay away from a hideout housing one such monster, but when it was approached, she panicked, going as far as to say "Didn't I say to stay clear?! This is the opposite of staying clear!!" She has yet to get over this phobia of undead dragons. Makes the best tuna steaks.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Moselle is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any given moment she enters the water, but primarily transforms in fresh, or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Moselle strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Moselle's job is the Red Mage. She has access to both white & black magic, but while her magics are potent, her black magic is not as strong as Raine's is, and her white magic is second only to her little sister Araxie's usage of it. Still, Moselle has enough power in her own black & white magics to help in a pinch should Raine & Araxie be unable to use theirs for whatever reason. But magic is not the only thing Moselle uses. She also fights with melee weapons and is quite strong physically. However, Moselle's strength is below Kishiko & Tefnut's, but she is still able to hold her own nonetheless. Moselle can equip swords, katanas, daggers, staves, rods, and bows to help her fight her enemies, and she owns one of each type, too. She begins with the following equipment & magics.
Crimson Scimitar: A sword Moselle forged herself. It's really sharp to the point that it can inflict some deep wounds, making it highly possible for it to land critical hits. It provides Strength +12 when equipped. It cannot be sold.
Cobalt Katana: A katana Moselle also forged herself. This blade is as strong as Moselle's scimitar, but it also has a slightly longer reach, enabling it to hit enemies not just up front, but also those in the back. Strength +12. It cannot be sold.
Katar: A push dagger that's good for giving quick jabs. Strength +3.
Soldier's Bow: A strong bow that makes it ideal for putting down monsters at a distance quickly. It comes with regular arrows, along with fire & ice arrows. Strength +8.
Brilliance Staff: A staff that brims with magic power. It can be used to attack in melee range, or shoot magic bolts from a distance. Strength +6, Mind +9.
Elementalist Rod: This rod is imbued with the 4 classic elements, giving the user the power to manipulate the elements when necessary. Strength +2, Mind +12.
Red Trickster Garb: Moselle's uniform while out adventuring. Complete with a hat & cape, Moselle looks good while out & about on the field. Vit +12, Int +14. The hat provides an addition +5 to Intelligence & Mind.
Round Shield: A simple round shield. Vit +8.
Cure: Restores HP to one ally.
Sight: White magic that opens the world map.
Fire: Causes minor fire damage to one enemy.
Blizzard: Causes minor ice damage to one enemy.
Thunder: Causes minor electric damage to one enemy.
