Checking in! +Watercolor for starter's guide
a month ago
Hi everyone! I know I haven't checked in for a while, but I just uploaded a new piece so thought I'd throw out a journal.
My spring conventions are wrapped up thankfully! I'm very much ready to not have to prep merch and instead actually make art again. March was busy and stressful, with a crazy Emerald City Comic con, then having to get a new roof put on the house all while having Covid, completing a painting and then trying to prep for a double-show weekend at the end of March (SakuarCon and NorWesCon)! I somehow made it through, though I'm still feeling sluggish and tired most days.
As far as activity goes I've been posting mostly on BlueSky, https://bsky.app/profile/kamakru.bsky.social - but other than that I've really cut down my online social places. I do try to check in here once in a while, but overall I find I can't do much outside of BlueSky if I don't have any new art to post.
WATERCOLOR GUIDE
I get a lot of people telling me that they wish they could do watercolor or want to pick it up again and are intimidated or overwhelmed, so I made a guide based on my own supplies and recommendations.

That's about it, or at least the condensed version lol. I hope you're all doing well

also I'm guessing this is out of the blue, but: do you still make those felt wings? they look AMAZING! (and I'd totally buy a pair <w<)
