This little fellow was collaboration with michelelight mixing our talents to create yet another cute little image. She did the drawing and I painted it.
This picture is one of those creations created with a funny story to go along with it. A friend of ours wanted sketches from her artist friends and had them all do Koi dragons. Michele was at a loss of what to do and ended up with a kitten from her past dragging a koi out of the pond. Hence the Koi being dragged on = Koi drag on.

Heheh, fish doesn't know what happened, is just waiting patiently to see if the water comes back.
this is so very much my late cat, Hogan. He was a white and orange tabby tom, and he lurv'd him some Beta fish (yes, I know the difference)
This brought back good memories of my lost friend. Thank you Michelle.

Actually, in the real life events that inspired this piece, the fish were not harmed, just scared to death by the cat who dragged them out of their pond and then left them on the grass.
Luckily we came home right after this happened and were able to save the fish he had helpfully relocated.

Greetings Dark Natasha and Michele Light!
Beautiful work :)
The poor fish looks so hopeless like it is thinking, "No! Not Me! Why?" and the cat just looks incredibly pleased with itself.

I find it amusing that fish are said to become dragons and also there is a fairy tail where cats are the descendants of dragons.
